Good deal

WiFi is stable, place is nice and clean. Location is a bit far from the city even if you have a bike (10-15 min ride is still a bit far). Problem with bathroom (wet floor al the time) can be easily fixed by host. But overall experience is very good. I would recommend this place! Thanks.

We really liked that not near the most crowded places and the Alona beach is just a short ride from here. It's also peaceful and relaxing place.

Had a great stay!!! Lots have changed since last I came here so I was pretty surprised to see the billiards table gone, but they added a lot of new furniture to compensate. The ambiance, the lights, and the rooms were still just as amazing as last I came here some years ago though. The highest room in the main building’s aircon doesn’t work but thankfully we weren’t a lot of people anyway. They also allowed us to play music thru the night so I totally recommend this place!

The place is great. Only problem is the Wi-Fi connection but other than that. Still a great place.

Giana is a wonderful host!She was very accommodating and answers all my queries clearly. Took care of all the booking requirements at Astoria even the slightest detail of reserving a ground floor room in consideration to our senior companion. Hassle free & always puts our best interests first. Well recommended & looking forward to our next booking (hopefuly!).

Communication with the host was great. We had a wonderful stay in their resort. Ambiance is so relaxing with the touch of nature. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Cliffview room is so fantastic, so beautiful especially during sunrise. We enjoyed and delighted also with the romantic dinner date that have been organized by them. Food taste good. They also have a minibar. They had a private resort down the cliff with more than 200 steps with benches where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking view. Walking distance to the whaleshark watching. Overall experience was superb. Definitely recommended.

Elena’s place has very nice pool with great view of the ocean. It’s on the mangrove side I think on the island not sandy beach that I can tell. If I am staying in that area I would stay there again. Elena is pleasant to chat with. She also has scooter available to rent for 400 pesos like all around the island.

Everything was beautiful. As for me who travels around the world this is the place I would still call “home”. I was born and grew up in the neighborhood where Amila Dive resort is located. It was a very special stay for my partner and I. I love seeing the simple life of the locals as well as their daily life. Sunset is incredibly beautiful while having Margarita on the pool. I love how private it is especially for couple who seek for quite and intimate time together. Breakfast was included for our stay which is lovely. We would definitely be back here soon.

The place is astonishingly beautiful ! Its very quite with an amazing view. The infinity pool is so relaxing and the service was superb. From the free pick up from the Ferry to the check in and the constant support from Jed. He is a great guy, and helped us with the local redommendations, motorbike rental and food. His service was impeccable. As Ronald the barman was. He was very polite and served us some mean cocktails! Both of them made our stay more enjoyable! 100% recommended!

I think this is the best resort in Balud. The beach is stunning, the staff is great, the food in the restaurant is good.

Overall, it was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant in the resort was also okay, and it wasn't more expensive than the outside, so I used it every day.The swimming pool is also well maintained, and the main street and the beach are within a walking distance, so I went there every day. I had a good time. Thank you.

We loved our stay here. Wish we’d stayed for longer. Right on the beachfront and so central too so easy to get to restaurants etc, and very helpful staff. Probably one of the loveliest bits of beach in Siquijor! Very cozy clean room and amazing aircon haha! Thank you

You get your money's worth, the people who assisted us are very nice and accomodating. The place is beach front and very accessible to the nice restaurants around Bantayan. We requested to check out a bit late and they are very considerate. We also requested for an early breakfast and they accomodated us. Over all, I recommend this place.

The owner has a nice collection of art from around the world. I especially liked the decor throughout the house and the use of color and natural woods.

Had a great stay. The place was clean and tidy. The owner was kind enough to take us from airport to the hotel plus additional free ride tour anywhere in cebu which is highly appreciated. Also she responded quickly when I needed something. Bravo 👏

Great location! So many restaurants within walking distance. The pools and activities were great. It was super easy to check in and out. The space was perfect for 3 adults and tqo kids (5 & 3) .

Everything was perfect: the hotel, the room, the staff, the food, the pools, the view from the pools... And it was easy to walk to station 1 beach (15 mins walk or you can take a tricycle). We should have stayed longer! Thanks Gel!
