In the forest there are paths and in late summer there is a lot of mushroom and also carries. The gravel road takes you to a small community. 3 km away, where there is a grocery store, a swimming lake and public transport. By car it is 15-20 minutes to Vetlanda, Eksjö and Nässjö. If you go for an hour, you'll come to Astrid Lindgren's world.

Lovely place in the Swedish countryside

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

Här erbjuds ett lugnt och fridfullt boende med skogen alldeles intill, men ändå närhet in till Vetlanda tätort, ca 4 km bort.
