Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Verona

This charming and historic apartment was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults, baby, and toddler. The location is amazing, on a quiet lane next to the castle, with incredible views across the town, lake, and castle. There is a small swimming cove just below the apartment suitable for adults or a quick dip with children. The wider pebble beach with a lifeguard is a short walk away, as is the ferry to Limone sul Garda. The town’s best gelato shop is around the corner, as is an excellent restaurant Paradiso Perduto (reserve ahead). Matteo and Ludovica were very hospitable and responsive, and met us in person at both check-in and departure. They arranged a complimentary transfer of our luggage with an ape, which was much appreciated across the cobblestone lanes. One thing to consider is if you are sensitive to heat, the two bedrooms on the upper floor can get quite warm in the summer months. We visited during an unseasonably warm June, but thankfully the fans were sufficient.

Beautiful apartment attached to the main house but very private , you have you own little patio area to sit outside that’s not overlooked by anyone . The apartment is immaculate and lots of nice little touches , lots of provisions provided including toilet pater , shower gel , washing up liquid etc. There are 2 restaurants within 5 minutes walk , we only ate at the one up the hill and the food was amazing and reasonably priced . Our 2 dogs loved the freedom of the secluded countryside and the geese that lived there were securely fenced off . You can hear the noise from the adjoining house but if you have quiet neighbours it’s not a problem .

A great, very quiet accommodation in the countryside. Only 10 minutes' drive from the beach. Ideal for families or vacationers seeking peace and quiet. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the lake. A car is highly recommended here, as it is otherwise difficult to get around. A really chic and lovingly furnished apartment. The previously shown pictures have more than exceeded our expectations on site and also a very fair price performance ratio. The host is always easy to reach and gives helpful tips. An absolutely uncomplicated check-in, as well as a private parking space complete the stay!! This is very valuable for the parking prices.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicola's place. The space was outstanding and the view was a dream. The place is a little elevated and we recommend a car to go to Bardolino. Bardolino is also great with children and dog. It has a dog playground and lots of options for kids. The highlight was the little stroll.

We stayed for the first time in Saló and it was an exceptional experience. Cristina's house was the ideal solution to be able to stay in a quiet place a few meters from the lake and the center of Saló. The house is beautiful, tidy and clean as we wanted. Cristina's father and mother were very kind and helpful for any need if we return to these parts, we will definitely come back here! Thank you.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! Marisa and Fabio were super responsive to every need we had, and the house was squeaky clean. We loved the location. Close enough to Lake Garda, so we visited a few cities on the lake on one day. It's about 30 minutes from Verona, so we spent one day there. (We did a free walking tour and highly recommend that!) And on our third day, we drove to Bolzano and Merano to be in the mountains - a very different experience from the area near Garda. This Airbnb has heart, and you can tell that Marisa and Fabio take pride in what they've built. So much thought went into every detail of decor, the wood and natural stone... everything, really... I consider it an honor that they shared it with us.

As a family with two children, we booked this accommodation and spent a short week there, which flew by. The highlight is the terrace with a beautiful view. Lake Garda is about 20 minutes away by car. If you have a car, this accommodation is a clear recommendation. Also recommended are Monica and Gabrielle, who were very helpful and always stood by with advice and action.

We had a fantastic stay at Oliveto. Great view, nice Pool, calmness and a beautiful house. The only - minor- thing that surprised us, since there is a cleaning fee, is, that you have to dispose of your own garbage at garbage cans outside of the property and quite a bit down the road.

Fabrizio was very accommodating and helpful. He collected us from the ferry port and drove us up the hill with all our suitcases. He gave us lots of information and went over and above expectations. The view of Lake Garda was magnificent

We had a wonderful first stay at Lake Garda in Daniele's apartment. The location is unique and the view wonderful, we felt right at home. The welcome by Daniele's parents was wonderful and we were able to communicate with Daniele at any time and get tips for the area. Falling asleep or cooking and having breakfast with a view of Lake Garda makes the visit relaxing and beautiful after all the activities. The apartment is also very nicely furnished and the postcards are simply beautiful. Grazie Daniele!

Cristina's place is just amazing. I spent 3 nights there with my partner for her birthday and we got engaged down at the Lake. So it was very important we stayed somewhere special.. this was perfect. Private,peaceful, stunning views,clean and beautifully decorated we couldn't ask for more! Cristina responded if we ever needed her or her mum told us she was available if we needed anything. We have reccomended the place to all our family and friends and we hope to one day return. Thankyou for letting us stay Cristina and mum!

The accomodation was very sweet, in a good location. Sergio was responsive and very helpful. His father was also very friendly and even gave us a lift from the ferry port, which was lovely.

Enrico and Flavia’s Airbnb was perfect for us! 10/10 I would recommend and we’re already planning a trip back. The view was beautiful, Flavia was very friendly, and the space was super clean! We were 3 adults and a very active toddler and there was more than enough room for all of us. We did have a car which was helpful, we did lots of exploring from this location and didn’t want to leave. There was a pack n play and high chair for the baby which was great. Communication was seamless as well. We got there early and left a little bit late and Flavia was great with everything. If you’re on the fence about booking, just book you won’t regret it!

We loved every minute of our stay. Susan, Luca and her lovely daughter Gaia are the perfect hosts. They helped us with everything possible. Made a dinner reservation at a restaurant or helped us out with lots of toys for the pool so our children had a fun time using the pool several times a day. The garden and the views are beautiful. We enjoyed the terrace so much . Every morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast. Everyday it looked a little different. We loved it very much and looked forward to it each day. We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place. The apartment is newly furnished and lovely decorated and we felt at home right away. Even some toys for kids are provided. We will definitely come back. Our children and us parents had a very relaxing time. Thank you so much for having us. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Beautiful stay! The hosts were very friendly and always quickly accessible, all our wishes were immediately taken into account. A small note: The address could be a little clearer in the documents, but thanks to the Google Maps link, that was not a problem. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fantastic view. Garda is only about 10 minutes away by car. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Giulio’s Brickhouse! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. Back yard was huge so we could play some footbal and pool nearby was perfect to hang out during hot days. The location was perfect—close to crowdy Verona that we wanted to see, yet peaceful and quiet at the property. I especially appreciated how responsive and friendly the host was; communication was clear, timely, and helpful throughout all our stay. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Whether you’re visiting for work or relaxation, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at Stefano's house for four days and enjoyed our time to the full. The house and the grounds were so large that all 4 families were able to withdraw from time to time. And when the energy was restored, we were able to pass the time with tennis, football, table tennis, volleyball or other activities. All provided by Stefano. It was clean and everything was available as described. Stefano was very accommodating. We received all the information in advance and he was quickly available for rare questions. All in all: highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in this lovingly designed house – a real oasis of relaxation! I was there with my boyfriend and my parents, and we felt welcome from the first moment. The house is not only beautiful and perfectly equipped, but also the sweet dog Margot conquered our hearts. Silvia and her husband were always approachable, incredibly warm and had great restaurant tips ready. We will definitely be back!

The house was so great that we actually canceled a couple of excursions just to stay in! We are a family with kids ranging from 7 to 14, and we also have 2 dogs. We had so much room to be together when we wanted and individual spaces when we didn't. If you think the pics in the listing are nice, just wait until you see the view, house, and land in person! The panoramic view is even more scenic. The house is even larger with every corner holding something beautiful or interesting to look at, and every inch of the garden offers a little something different. The kids were in the pool every single day. When we did head away from the house, almost everything we needed or wanted was 15-30 minutes away. Rosanna was just as charming and generous as the house, checking in and making sure we didn't need anything. We loved it and just wish we could have stayed longer.

Place was well equipped, spacious and overall in pretty high standard relative to its price and purpose.sp Somewhat remote localization ensures peace and relaxation, but also bigger cities (close to Garda and Verona) are in 15-30 minutes drive proximity. Private garage with automatic gate fits 2 normal size cars easly (or 1 SUV, 1 normal with carefull parking). Owners are nice and helpfull. We spend there great time and are happy with our choice. There were only 2 slight inconveniences, 2 bed's frames were quite squeaky when you moved and some of the inner door locks (bathrooms/rooms) were tricky/hard to use. But its not really that much affecting anyone's visit, which we can recommend to everyone, just something owners can look into when they have a little of free time.

Manuela was a very friendly, helpful and attentive hostess. She gave us great tips in advance and informed us about everything important. She answered questions very quickly and tried to meet all needs. Your house is exactly as in the photos and in the description. We felt very comfortable at her place. Everything was clean and well maintained. The garden and pool were also great. We would go back there any time. Lake Garda can be reached in a few minutes by car, as well as various shopping facilities and restaurants. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay :)

Michèle's place is great, the view is breathtaking overlooking all of Lago di Garda. The place is very quiet and private but at the same time only a few minutes from restaurants, supermarkets, Salo Center and beaches. Michèle was super helpful, always reachable and responds within minutes.

Il Castello was my favorite Airbnb on our 3 leg Italy trip!! The location has absolutely breathtaking views of the Valpolicella region. Vineyards, olive trees, cherry trees, cypress and wisteria! It's so quiet and peaceful, yet endearing with the church bells in the distance. We enjoyed having our morning cappuccinos on the patio that overlooked the valley. Kate's brother Hugh was so kind and helpful. He met us at the bus stop when we got to Negrar, took us to the grocery store and drove us to the home. We did not have a car, so we really appreciated his help!! The bus system is handy for getting around Negrar and Verona (albeit confusing). I would highly recommend this home if you'd like a true Italian countryside experience!!
