“We had the best experience for our few days staying in Kate's Cottage. Gale's hospitality was great. She baked goodies to leave on the stove, left extra amenities, and best of all she took time to make special light breakfasts each day, delivered right to the home. The cottage is warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Gale loves animals and was also happy to host our two exotic birds. We enjoyed meeting Gale and her various animals of the farm. Flo, the beautiful dog greeted us each day. We felt very welcome, and Gale was always available if we needed anything. This is a wonderful little cottage on a nice family farm. We saw Sioux Falls and the Butterfly Museum. We really enjoyed ending our 3 week vacation for a few days in this peaceful cottage. The Russell's ; Berwyn, Illinois”

“Lovely spot and a great value. Incredible smells of nature floating in from the lush landscape out the window. Pat is a truly welcoming and kind host and even gave me the chance to have a later checkout for free as she knew I was tired from the road. Highly recommend this sweet spot for the weary or well-rested traveler!”

“Sherry and Adriane helped me immensely as a person who has never been to South Dakota. I stayed during July 4th weekend when most restaurants were closed, and Sherry and Adriane went out of their way to help me get some food in Vermillion. Their hospitality was outstanding and the food was excellent for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the location and the historical significance of the vineyard and neighboring landmarks. Some of those landmarks were even part of the Lewis and Clark trail. Highly recommended, and if I am ever in Vermillion I wouldnt hesitate to stay again.”
