2 bedroom 1 bath home with mountain lodge decor. Home overlooks picturesque creek that allows for wading and trout fishing.
“Walking into Mary's place felt like home. It was incredibly clean! The indoor fireplace and big window looking over the creek were a few of our favorite things about Mary's place. It rained one afternoon, we took advantage of the window and fireplace and just watched the rain out the window with a glass of wine and a good book. I have no words. It was amazing! This was our first time using Airbnb and Mary set the bar soo high! Will definitely stay again!”

“Outstanding, exceeds expectations, lovely, quaint, horses kisses ---I don't know where to start with this review! The bunkhouse is just as described to include the most adorable horse decor, a clean location, and GREAT coffee selection! :) What is not described is the acreage, the horse, the landscape, the absolute peace you will find at this location! Don't plan on checking your facebook or your instagram --just enjoy the nature! ( a short walk will get you cellular coverage --you'll live!) This location is a short 4 mile from Hot Spring, 30 minute to Custer --but far enough from your stress!! Thank you for the amazing time away --your home is my dream come true!!”
Cleverly designed studio centrally located at 8340 Schroeder Rd in the Black Hills, SD. Tiny home, and a tiny paradise! 3/4 mile to Nation Forestland, 4 miles from Rapid City. Beautiful high meadow location on two acres. Pavement to driveway and less than a minute from some of the best riding/viewing the Hills have to offer.
“This place is so special! The perfect place to explore SD but feel ‘at home’ and removed from all the touristy stuff at the end of the day. Its up in the Black Hills and feels just far away enough, but is only about 15 mins to downtown Rapid City so you can visit Harriet & Oak (the best coffee shop in town) for coffee/breakfast, do some shopping, or grab dinner. It’s right on top of the Black Hills Natl. Forest, which has gorgeous hiking, climbing, singletrack, lakes, etc! The Badlands are a bit of a drive (1.5 hrs) but it was fine for us to drive that distance to the park in the morning and spend the day there. Badlands Natl. Park is incredible and you can easily spend a day or more wandering around. The hosts were amazing, and very understanding/kind when we made a scheduling mistake. It should also be mentioned that there is a fantastic rain shower that’s better than anywhere else we’ve ever stayed. Our dog adored the property which has tons of room to wander and sniff around. SO, whether you’re coming to wander around the wilderness or visit all of the popular landmarks, there’s nothing better than a day in the Black Hills and an evening under the stars in front of the fire pit at this beautiful bungalow. Our one complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer. We definitely want to come back SOON!”
