The home was pristine—very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a super comfortable layout. The beds were extra cozy with plenty of extra bedding. The kitchen was well-stocked and organized. We loved that the hot tub was sparkling clean and every window had coverings (not always the case!). Tons of towels for both showering and the hot tub. Toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided in each bathroom. The neighborhood was quiet and cute, yet close to great restaurants. No over-the-top checkout rules—unlike some Airbnbs that charge cleaning fees and still expect a chore list. Best of all, the hosts even shipped back our forgotten laptop. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely gorgeous place with the most beautiful nature surroundings. Perfect for a family weekend with great amenities like pool table, darts and hot tub. Loved our stay!

This house is the perfect secluded getaway. It has an amazing pool and jacuzzi that you never want to leave with a spectacular view. It is hands down the most unique home I’ve ever been to. We loved interacting with the emu’s and there is the sweetest little cat that roams around the property. There are tons of lights switches everywhere that would at first seem overwhelming but everything is labeled very clearly making all navigation through the house a breeze. We would love to book this Airbnb again in the future.

We absolutely loved this place! It was so relaxing to be right on the water, and to be able to hop in the hot tub on a cold morning :) The beds were incredibly comfortable and the primary bedroom felt like a luxury suite. The host and property manager are also lovely. Very kind and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

This was our second time staying at the Orchard House and it did not disappoint! The home and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Our 4 kids loved the pool, treehouse, putting green, and bocce ball. So many cute cozy spots to enjoy a cup of coffee or book both inside and outside. The house is nicely spread out and could easily accommodate 2 families as there are 2 en-suite king bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked for easy cooking and was left in pristine condition. We had a number of potentially annoying requests and Todd was quick to respond and accommodating. Our kids loved visiting the many nearby playgrounds and library. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing house everything was exactly as described. Anything you need for a beach day is already there. Loved the off street parking . We had an amazing time and will definitely stay next time we are in Ventura! Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay in Malibu. The views were incredible. It felt very private and peaceful the entire time. This is the perfect place if you are looking for an oasis to relax in with friends or family. There were lots of good shaded outdoor spots for hanging out and the kitchen was well-equipped for lots of cooking. The hosts were friendly & responsive. I highly recommend this location!

Liza and Pascal are phenomenal hosts! They are hospitable, attentive, and accessible! I appreciated Liza checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable, and her readiness to recommend great places to eat and fun things to do in the area. If I had a question, she answered within minutes. The house is beautiful! It is clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. This was my first time using Airbnb, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

The house is located on the top of the hill and has great views. Location is super quiet and peaceful. Big house with a nice patio, backyard was very spacious and a perfect place to relax and chill. Tomer was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again

Great place. Plenty of room for our family if 8. Loved the little extras ( snacks, laundry detergent, paper towels). Not far from all the tourist attractions. Community was very quiet.

Vanessa helped make our stay absolutely incredible and it was a once in a lifetime experience. She made us feel right at home with all the amenities taken care of, her stay was equipped with absolutely everything you can need for your stay; from cookware to snacks, even sunscreen because we definitely forgot to pack it. Leading up to the stay, Vanessa also kindly provided us lots of recommendations on what to do and what to see during our short stay. The purpose of our trip was for my brother-in-law to propose to his girlfriend and from the beginning to end of this plan, Vanessa and her assistants were there to help facilitate the process making everything truly so easy to coordinate. We’re so thankful for Vanessa and her team’s hospitality and I would strongly recommend Vanessa’s place in Malibu for everyone looking to visit.

We had a great stay at this house! Our three favorite parts - the awesome views (even better in person), the beautiful pool/hot tub (which was always very clean), and getting to love on Bella (their super sweet dog). Stephen communicates very well. They gave us all the privacy we needed. The house was a perfect size for our family (brought our two kids) and the extra long patio was great. A few areas in the house could use updates (example: the shower knobs are difficult to turn) but it was all clean, which I strongly appreciate. The views, pool, and Bella made our trip amazing for sure! Thank you Stephen and Pim.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a very charming house. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is beautiful with great hiking. It is older, but charming.

Awesome private house with incredible views. Rural environs surrounded by nature in a great location - only a 15-minute ride to Santa Barbara and Carpentaria, 10 minutes to Summerland and <10 minutes to the beach. Rustic but very comfortable and clean house/furnishings/beds, 2.5 baths and well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was a great bonus to soak and take in the views and listen to nature. Host Paul was very responsive and flexible. Cost was solid to have such a great environment so close to great towns to visit. Highly recommended ABnB.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

If you live in LA and looking to get out of the hustle and bustle without going far, this is perfect location. Not even an hour from me and it felt like i was in a different country. Very romantic and peaceful. There is no TV which is supposed to be the point, but at the end of it I was watching a movie on my laptop on the beyond cozy bed. The cedar hot tub was beyond amazing also. Late night I was worried about getting Postmates, but there were so many places that delivered there (we had to drive down to the main gate to meet the driver, which was its own good time also. So no complaints) Highly recommend this to anyone

We fell in love with this private mountain oasis. After hiking Malibu Creek State Park we asked to check in a little early and Ardie responded shortly saying we could. The trailhead to this amazing park is like a 100 yards away. We do our hot tub to sauna to outdoor shower and back to sauna routine. It is a rare treat to make a little wood burning fire at night and enjoy the stars outside. The old place and Cornell winery are our go to for a little socializing and entertainment, they never fail. We’ve done a couple staycations here now, there’s nothing else like it.
