Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Venice, Los Angeles

the place was perfect for us three adults in town for our daughter's UCLA graduation. Peaceful, but perfectly located for walking down to the Venice Canals/nearby shops and restaurants. very spacious, and we loved the hot-tub! very well equipped with all your cooking needs, although we were so busy, we didnt cook one meal there! And thank you Colin, for being so responsive to every inquiry...whether it be an early check-in, how to operate the air conditioning and other items. would DEFINITELY come back next time in town!

Spencer’s place looked like the photos and had everything I needed for a few days of working from home! The kitchen is stocked with whatever you might need to cook a meal. Comfortable furniture and nice shower. The neighborhood is nice and safe to walk around, close to a few different coffee and restaurant spots. Would return!

Augustin - Matthew co-host - was very kind to us and answered all our questions quickly. The house is adorable, even more than in the pictures. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

It was a great Airbnb! We had a 6 month old and Clay was so accommodating. There was a crib, toys, extra sheets, baby shampoo/soap. We were grateful!

My family and I had a great stay at Kevin’s place. Kevin was so responsive and had great communication with check in and check out instructions. The whole place was spotless and even smelled clean when we walked in. It is in a great location, very walkable. Highly recommend staying here!

This was a gem! I felt safe, the apartment was perfectly furnished, super clean, the layout was amazing! The best part about this place are all the art work around the building. I’d definitely stay here again. This place is special.

This was my second stay at Barbara’s apartment in LA, and this time I stayed there with my husband and daughter. Once again, Barbara and Gunther were welcoming and responsive, and their little cat Mau-Mau was a sweetie. I will definitely check to see if this space is available any time I am planning to visit LA. It is an amazing deal.

Stayed at Niklas’ place for 4 nights on my fiancee and I’s first time around LA and it was perfect! Everything was as described and Niklas was always very responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place for the single traveler. Just minutes from Venice Beach boardwalk and the Ocean. Only 1 avenue over on 4th. catch Big Blue Bus 18 to Santa Monica Metro, which connects you to all of LA, Hollywood, and even Universe Studios. The shower is absolutely AMAZING! Susan has provided lots of extra items to help you out with your stay. Several other buses connect you to Marina Del Rae, Lincoln Blvd., and Long Beach. Great place at a great value. The tv buffers a lot, not sure why? The Apple TV remote stated disconnect ,maybe written instructions could assist.

Great stay! Well decorated, clean, and conveniently located walking-distance to everything we needed. A bidet is always a huge plus in my book. Would stay again and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy Airbnb in a very nice and convenient part of Santa Monica. The space is thoughtfully designed and makes excellent use of every corner — even including all types of phone charging connectors, which was a great touch for travelers. The backyard is beautifully decorated, and we really enjoyed having breakfast out there both mornings. Smitha was a fantastic host — very communicative and welcoming. She even shared some fresh fruit with us, which was such a kind gesture.

Listing was clean and as described. Location was walkable and close to many metro bike stations, where you can rent bikes for pretty cheap. I’d recommend going up north more towards Santa Monica than south towards Venice.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Very nice place to relax after a busy day in LA. The patio is beautiful and inviting. The place itself is cute and perfect for 2. An Avis car rental is literally around the corner which is super convenient. Although most restaurants and busy Santa Monica streets are not far, be aware that it is a good 20-30 mn walk through a commercial area to get there.

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

I had a fantastic stay at Tianna's place. It was exactly like the pictures, right on the main street with easy access to public transport to Santa Monica beach. Parking space was a big bonus. Tianna was extremely friendly and responsive, and the house was fully stocked with anything you could need, from complementary drinks and coffee, to toiletries. 10/10 would recommend.

Cara was very helpful when I had questions and she went out of her way to accomodate me. E.g. I mentioned that it would be nice to have a little table next to the outside chair to hold my coffee and it magically appeared a couple of days later, which was very sweet. I think the windows need repair because they were difficult to open and close but they are working on it! Luckily Santa Monica is fairly cool and breezy so AC is not needed.
