Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vaxholm Municipality

Das Haus ist wirklich ein wunderbarer Ort, um sich wohlzufühlen und die Schären zu erleben. Der Badeplatz im Norden der Insel ist herrlich, besonders am Abend! Mit der Fähre ist man schnell in Vaxholm, wo es alles gibt. Man kann das Auto auf dem Parkplatz nahe der Pizzeria kostenlos parken oder etwa 15 min zum Anleger laufen, um die Parkgebühr in Vaxholm zu sparen. Wir haben die viel zu kurze Zeit sehr genossen!

We stayed at Calle’s place for 2 weeks and had a great time. Family of 4 with a 12 year old and a 17 year old plus the teen’s girlfriend. Such a beautiful house, beautiful garden and perfect location. We made day trips to the archipelago and into Stockholm and we had lazy days just eating good food, swimming and sitting at cafes in Vaxholm. We had shopping days at Täby Centrum ang Mall of Scandinavia. We loved it all. Calle was also a perfect host, always quick to respond and super helpful. Tack!

Mycket fint hus med närheten till naturen. Lugnt och härligt med en kort promenad till badstranden vid sjön. Har alltid fått snabba och hjälpsamma svar från värden. Huset är lika fint i verkligheten som bilderna visar.

Zeer mooie omgeving en prachtige ligging met zeezicht van 2 kanten. mooie en meerdere terassen. Wij zijn een gezin van 6 pers met 4 jong volwassenen en dat was wat krap. Het slapen op het zetelbed was niet ideaal. Voor wie rust en zee wil is dit perfect. Wij waren helemaal ontspannen. wel opletten dat je de laatste ferry haalt want de tapijten varen ook niet meer na 18.00u!

Ubytování odpovídá popisu, je to krásný velký prostor, vybavený, venkovní sezení. V domě bylo teplo. Na autobus kousek, krásné okolí k procházkám. Měli jsme vše, co bylo potřeba, určitě doporučuji.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lars‘ place. The area is beautiful and the view from the living area and balcony is outstanding. The house is modern and clean and also well equipped with everything needed. Check-in and communication was easy.

Vi har haft en fantastisk helg på det här fina boendet. Underbar utsikt, härlig bastu, många trevliga platser att umgås på och fint hus. Rekommenderas varmt! Stort tack för att vi fick hyra hos er!

Enjoyed a great stay here as a family with young kids. Daniel was a superb host, very considerate and helpful (extremely responsive when we had a question for him). The property is beautiful, an excellent base to explore Stockholm from and return to at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend this place, we had a lovely time!

Apartment as described and matched the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked for its size. Coffee included! Convenient Gamla Stan location - easy to walk across the river and on a quieter Gamla Stan street. Very close to palace. A nice bakery restaurant is at the end of the street by the water. Obviously keep in mind that it’s an old building as it lists, full of charm. Depending on your family’s preferences, do note that the bathroom is quite snug. Our children also slept on the couch in the living room but they did find the house was a bit creaky when our family member sleeping downstairs would need to use the spiral staircase near the couch to reach the bathroom at night. FYI, if you’re planning on sleeping on the couch but you’re a light sleeper. If you have mobility issues, this probably isn’t the right stay for you. Overall good stay and everything was as expected for a Gamla Stan apartment.

Wonderful views with character and charming features in a fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. A great great host, very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Gamla Stan!

A beautiful apartment, spacious and in the perfect location to tour Stockholm

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Bardzo przyjemne, przestronne i wygodne mieszkanie w cichej okolicy z pięknym widokiem z okien. Na miejscu wszystko okazało się zgodne z opisem, miły kontakt z właścicielką. W przyszłości chętnie wrócimy. Dziękujemy za gościnę.

Marie's apartment was fantastic for a weekend trip! The location was fantastic and close to everything. We had the best time ! and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Kalle’s place in 8 - 2 families with teenagers. The house was perfect, the kids enjoyed the pool and the SUP (as well as we did!). Great evenings on the terrace and at the fireplace, barbecues every night… Kalle is an excellent host, extremely helpful, full of resources and advice. He suggested a concert in the neighborhood, a swimming sauna and boat trip which we enjoyed a lot! We found ourselves part of a neighborhood of very welcoming people. Alternating visits of Stockholm and days by/on the water was ideal for our group and nearby Waxholm is a great starting point for exploring the arcipelago. We strongly recommend the place and were very sorry to leave!

We spent 10 days in the house and had a wonderful time. The house is great! It is very quiet, it was super clean an nicely furnished. We used the Ferry to Vaxholm/Stockholm and the little beach a lot (each 10min walk). Clara gave good advices for the area and the house. We are very thankful for a great holiday!

Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

Wunderbares Haus in einer sehr schönen Umgebung! Wir haben uns als Familie dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Das absolute Highlight ist die große Terrasse mit Sonnenuntergangsgarantie, großem Gasgrill und familientauglichem Tisch. Wir haben jeden Abend draußen gesessen! Perfekte Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr, sowohl Fähre als auch Bus, so konnten wir einfach und unkompliziert die Stockholmer Schäreninseln erkunden. Diese Unterkunft war ein absoluter Glücksfall und wir sind dankbar dort gewesen zu sein. Klare Empfehlung!

Gabriels Haus war wirklich ein Glücksgriff! Wir durften in diesem wunderschönen und modernen Haus, inmitten des Stockholmer Archipel wohnen. Die autofreie Insel strahlte eine wohltuende Ruhe aus, in der wir alle wunderbar abschalten und uns entspannen konnten. Und wenn wir es mal etwas quirliger mochten, dann fuhren wir bequem mit der Fähre (1 h) oder dem Bus (45 Min.), von der 5 Minuten entfernten Insel Vaxholm, nach Stockholm und tauchten in das bunte Treiben ein. Gabriel überließ uns freundlicherweise, gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis, sein kleines Boot. Unser persönliches Highlight. Damit waren wir von den Fähren ungebunden und konnten, wann immer wir wollten, schnell nach Vaxholm rüberschippern um einzukaufen, bummeln oder Kaffee zu trinken. Auch konnten wir so ein wenig die Nachbarinseln erkunden. Gabriel ist ein Vorzeigegastgeber. Unheimlich nett, hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und antwortet immer zeitnah auf unsere Fragen. Fint hus nära båtmarinan där man även kunde bada från bryggan! Det som drog ner betyget var att vissa köksredskap var slitna och hade behövt bytas ut samt att det endast fanns 1 solstol.

Für uns war es perfekt ! Wir waren 3 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern. Das Haus ist gross und gemütlich , zudem ein schöner Garten zum Spielen für die Kinder. Badesteg ist ca 300 m hinter dem Haus, zum grosser Badestrand sind es ca 15 Minuten Spaziergang, Bushaltestellen nach Stockholm oder ins Zentrum von Vaxholm (3 Stationen) bzw zum großen Fähranleger sind auch nur ca 300 m entfernt. Die Fähren 83 welche in der Sl card enthalten sind fahren nur 3 morgens und 3 am Abend bzw Nachmittag, für die anderen Fähren welche den ganzen Tag fahren muss man extra zahlen, aber die Fährfarten sind traumhaft schön. Ansonsten einfach mit dem Bus/ Metro nach Stockholm fahren . Vermieter war immer erreichbar und unkompliziert, auch ein späterer checkout war kein Problem. Perfekte Unterkunft für eine Mischung aus Stockholm city und Vaxholm !!!
