Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Västervik

We loved every minute of our stay at Camilla’s house. It was peaceful and perfect for 4 adults and our one small dog. We especially loved the new sauna - it’s beautifully built, with top of the line heat for the ultimate relaxation experience. The rowboat, the access to the sea, the surrounding lawn and nature trails all added to the perfect weekend to get away! The house is even better than the listing and pictures show. Camilla is the perfect host - helpful, responsive and kind, and she has created a very special place for travelers to rest and relax! We’re so happy we found it and we can’t wait to find a reason and time to be back at her house!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage. The view on the lake is simply beautiful, the surroundings perfect for a hike or walk and the house itself very cozy and equipped with everything you need.

What we were looking for: A relaxing time in Sweden. What we found: A "home away from home". We felt comfortable from the first moment. The cottage is lovingly and cozy. A wonderful place for relaxing days in Sweden with great activities in the area for children. The garden is beautiful for a relaxing time in the hammock or a round of kicking and playing in the sandbox. Micha and Katja were great hosts who welcomed us warmly and helped us with tips and information. We would come back anytime!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!

Great location—very peaceful, and the lake is beautiful. Sven is an amazing host: very responsive and super friendly. We had a wonderful time at his house and really enjoyed the getaway from the city. The house is small but well-equipped, and the bed is really comfortable. The highlight for us was the nature and the tranquility, especially while relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike (the nearby Norra Kvill National Park is amazing!). All in all, a great experience—highly recommended! 😊

Quiet residential neighborhood near the University. Good public transport connections to the city center that is not very close. Very friendly guest and easily accessible. The apartment has everything you need, in fact there was also soap, shampoo, detergents and the basics for cooking. Everything described in the listing is present and working. A supermarket and a couple of restaurants are a minute's walk away. Overall, we had a very satisfactory experience, especially in relation to the price. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs a comfortable foothold near the University.

An incredibly large and beautiful apartment, with a super nice bathroom, large and well-equipped kitchen. The apartment even has a pool table, 2 seating areas and a dining table that matched the number of people. We were 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space, both in bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen. I have stayed in a hotel room, etc. with overall less space than there is in the bathroom, which is more like a ballroom, with a 2-person jacuzzi, a delicious shower niche and even a large sauna. Frida is very helpful, thoughtful and kind. Absolutely recommended for a trip with the family in Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's world.

This accommodation was excellent for a family of 7 and we would definitely stay again. The apartment in all respects + blankets, pillows, sheets and towels were very neat and clean. We stayed here for just under a week and, thanks to the washing machine, we were able to take care of our laundry. Everything you need was also found in the kitchen and we spent a relaxing time in the accommodation. Its location allows for a lot and we deviated from it for several days on the trip, such as several days in Vimmerby and its surroundings, but also on the island of Öland. The instructions for arrival were clear, communication was fast and the folder in the kitchen had good information about the accommodation and living environment. Thanks again!!

We had a great week walking with our kids in the footsteps of Astird Lindgreen. Bullerbü, Katthult, Vimmerby and Mariannelund were easily accessible. There is a nice swimming lake near the apartment. The food at Anki's cafe is highly recommended. We have experienced a lot and have recovered well at the same time thanks to the spacious apartment and the tranquility in Karlstorp. Thank you!

Great accommodation, great old farmhouse, we liked it very much. Everything was as described and decorated with love. Even breakfast was in the fridge. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We chose this place to visit the Smaland area, which is not described or recommended in French tour guides but highly recommend. The accommodation is well located, very nice, has many games for children and tourist maps. We had a lovely and fun time in this area, although it really enjoyed it:)!

We celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve in this accommodation. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa in the middle of nature. There is a lake behind the house and in front of the house you can walk directly into the forest. Perfect! Big plus was that we were allowed to bring our dogs. They also had a wonderful vacation! The house is spacious and confortable. Ingatorp is a quiet and idyllic place. Nearby, there is a lot to do and see. Everything was in the house and there are two bathrooms. In summary, wonderful house!

A wonderful house with everything you need for a stay, I would visit again.

We had an all-round perfect holiday with Malin and her family and felt at home from the beginning. The house was super clean and the usable house more than sufficient. The handling of Siri, the cat of the house, was relaxed and gave our daughter a lot of joy. All in all absolutely recommended, thank you so much!

We had fantastic days in this tastefully renovated house (church school). Very clean and tidy. Very well-equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators and a freezer. Also two Dishwashers. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for all of us (14 adults and 5 small children). Lovely and child-friendly garden. No problem reaching the host with questions. The house had a rowing boat at the swimming area 2 km from the house that we used. We had sunny May weather and could sit in the garden and eat lunch. The dining table in the kitchen had room for all of us. We can really recommend the house and hope we can come back another time.

We had a wonderful time in Johan's house. The house and garden are very large and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there. Johan and Anna were easy to reach, very friendly and helpful! We felt very comfortable!

Åsa's house is very charming, with a lovely conservatory where you can sit and enjoy yourself when it rains, lots of games for the garden and nice kitchen all the room. There were fresh flowers when we arrived and Åsa was very flexible with respect to special wishes. Åsa is a very attentive host and the house had everything you need in a home. A warm recommendation from us.

We were with three children for a week in the wonderful house of Rikard. It is a very nicely furnished house with everything you need. Fantastic location with beautiful views of the lake from the terraces. Clear recommendation.
