What a wonderful stay your house Kronskogen (located half an hour above Torsby). It is really a gem for those looking for peace and nature. Quite secluded, in the middle of the greenery – you are really alone here with yourself. Exactly what we needed! The house has all the comforts: including games, towels, washing machine, a mega supply of wood, dryer and beds made upon arrival - so much was present. As a family of four, we felt very comfortable here. What beautiful memories we were able to make here during the two weeks we stayed there. Glenn was easily accessible and responded quickly to questions, which made the stay even more pleasant. We'd love to come back!

We had an unforgettable time in this little house by the lake! The location is fantastic: right on the water, surrounded by nature and complete tranquility. Wandering over the quiet lake in the morning was simply magical. The house is cozy, very clean and furnished with love. Everything you need is available - from the well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds. The evenings on the terrace with a view of the sunset were particularly beautiful. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and always available. We felt completely comfortable and welcome. If you are looking for nature, tranquility and Swedish idyll, you have come to the right place. We would love to come back and can absolutely recommend this cottage. We arrived at an Easter decorated, cozy and nice cabin with already heated hot tub which was very appreciated after many hours in the car. Even the Easter bunny had visited, which the kids really appreciated. We realized that we had forgotten the high chair for the smallest and sugar for the dessert but it was convoluted without the slightest concern. The kitchen was fantastic, with dishwasher and everything. We had cooked in advance so it was just to warm and we got a cozy Easter together. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

We have been spending family holiday in Dalsland for over 20 years and this is definitely the loveliest house we have stayed in. Both the house and the location are gorgeous. The light and views from the living room in particular are spectacular. Due to rain we weren’t able to use the private bathing/BBQ spot that is 15 mins walk away - a shame because it is a wonderfully secluded spot overlooking the lake with chairs and two hammocks, a BBQ and wood-burning stove and a jetty. Finding a Swedish summer house that provides sheets and towels was a definite plus for us because bringing them from the UK has been a downside of other houses we’ve rented. The only downside of the house for us was that one of the single bedrooms can only be accessed via the master bedroom which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Not a big deal and the layout would be great for a family with children. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Johan and Maggan!

We felt right at home It is a beautiful house right on the water. Unfortunately, there was no snow for Christmas this year. It didn't come until a week later. Arne put a Christmas tree outside the door for us, so it also felt like Christmas. In the hot tub, we were able to listen to the ice cream, which sounded like election chants... For the way to the house (the last 5km) I would pack snow chains next time. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful location and house!

It is a dreamy and wonderful place, the house and area invite you to unwind. Solvi and Björnar are excellent hosts, they have furnished the house with a lot of love for detail. There is nothing missing, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, immediately we felt at home. With loving hints distributed throughout the house, no questions remain unanswered. A beautiful place, with everything your heart desires. Peace, seclusion and plenty of light and space. We will also never forget our holiday through your hospitality, thank you Solvi! I really enjoyed my stay with Erik. The place and everything was as described or in the photos. I especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the terrace. In the evening with a cozy conversation at the fireplace, Erik showed me the many mushrooms he collected in the afternoon. Was very interesting. I didn't know many of them. If you forgot to shop yourself, you don't seem to have to starve here. He also offers homemade bread and yogurt, homemade meat, and homemade vegetables. If he no longer has a smoked herring in stock, you can also pull it ashore yourself. Because even the fishing rod and the boat are available to the guests. So even in autumnal weather you can do a lot here. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thank you Erik!👌🏻

The Stuga is a delightful and charming accommodation. We were very warmly welcomed and received a lot of tips for excursions. A magical place that moose also visit from time to time (unfortunately we didn't see any). I can highly recommend this beautiful RBNB with a huge garden and will be happy to come back.

We've had some super lovely days at this cabin. It was so nice relaxing and lovely. It was clean and tidy and many good options like a wood-burning stove and heat pump. We borrowed a mobile fire pit so we could cook over a fire and cozy up at night. Karin was great at guiding us to fishing spots and helped find worms. Karina welcomed us very well and we hope to be able to come back sometime.

We had a great time at the cabin and on the island especially. Definitely something different going by boat as a primary means of transport, overall great experience, shot out and special thanks to Per Arne for the great introductions :)

The location is great for everyone that wants to escape the city life. It’s peaceful, quiet and private. The small boat was a great addition to the cabin. You can fish at the river or on the nearby lakes, where perch and pikes can be found. The cabin itself was simple but has everything that is needed. Anders was a great host and replied super quick to any questions. I really recommend coming here and experiencing it yourself!

What a wonderful place to relax close to nature! The stuga is cosy, comfortable and very neat. We loved relaxing in the sauna as well. Marjo is a great host - we are grateful for a warm welcome, great communication and tips about walking trails in the area. We had a perfect weekend away :)

We enjoyed staying here very much. The location is really quiet and undisturbed. The view on the lake is great. There you could fish and go boating. Inside, the cottage is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. A great place to get away.

My son and I spent 4 nights at this amazing place. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with fresh flowers on the terrace table. On the dining table was a description of everything we needed to know. The cabin does not look so big from the outside, but inside it seems very spacious. All rooms are bright and well-maintained, furnished with good furniture in good materials both outside and inside. The living room consists of kitchen, dining room and living room, is homey and gives a good sense of space. Large and numerous windows provide fantastic views and light. Outside there is a terrace, well-kept lawns, a natural plot, a beach and a floating jetty. The cabin contains everything you need in a cabin. Sara has made everything easy for the tenant. She responds quickly to questions, is always welcoming. We booked a boat rental. It was ready at the floating jetty, and life jackets in the right size hung in the closet. Settlement is made after the stay. I had high expectations for the cabin based on the pictures in the ad. The experience was even greater. :)

Nice old house. Great, clean beds and nice atmosphere. The evening sun with a beautiful sunset was a pleasant surprise. Otherwise, the house has most of the equipment you need. Easy to get cold water right outside the house. Remember to bring salt and pepper, coffee, etc.

When you are looking for a nice Stuga that is remote but still has a supermarket within 10 km, this is a very good option. Nature is beautiful and rugged, so good hiking shoes are important. A day trip to Karlstad is also a great option.

Small cozy accommodation for max 4 people in a quiet and peaceful area near the lake and with forest behind. Large balcony. We stayed 2 nights and slept very well.
