Waterfront holiday rentals in Varmland County

The apartment in Kees and Johanne's house looks exactly as the pictures promise. The hosts are reserved but very friendly and helpful. Johanne has designed a wonderful garden where the bees buzz, flowers and apple trees smell. The terrace is shared and there are other rentals. If you want to retreat, you can grab the table and chairs and walk, for example, into the back or front part of the garden. Östenas, where the house is located, is located about 50 km north of Karstadt and thus offers a good nature experience on shorter hiking trails (up to 6 km) or long walks on country roads where hardly anyone meets. If you want to swim, you can do so in the nearby lakes, about a 15-minute walk - I recommend bathing shoes, as the underground is very rocky. A car is definitely recommended. If we vacation in Värmland again, it will definitely be with Kees and Johanne.

Everything was great! Large apartment with just a few minutes drive to the slopes. It was very clean and nice that the beds were made and that there were towels. It was easy to regulate the temperature in the rooms with electric elements in each room but the air heat pump in the living room keeps most of the areas warm. The wood-burning stove gave extra cosiness in the evenings and there are a lot of luck and extra plus for thinking about the lighting through many small light sources. The host was easy to get in touch with and very nice.

Absolutely amazing place! It’s a fantastic house, huge and spacious, very clean and has everything you’ll need. Great private location, the kids loved running around on the grass and parents could relax knowing no cars would go past. Loved the private beach. The two bathrooms were great for so many guests. Angelica was an excellent host and so accomodating and helpful.

Lovely cottage. Located on a quiet road and on a lake. Everything was present! And the beds are very comfortable. The shower was also wonderful. Fun activities to do nearby. And don't be alarmed by the train tracks. You won't be bothered by this!

I rented Yano's house for 2 weeks in February, as I wanted to experience real winter, among other things, and also wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet alone with my dog. Both worked out, there was high snow, it was freezing cold and I was all alone there, none of the neighboring houses were occupied at that time. From the first evening I felt comfortable, the house exudes a nice coziness, the fireplace provides a cozy warmth, for which there was also plenty of wood. The communication with Yano was friendly and answers came quickly. Yano had previously written to me that in snow the access to the house could not have been cleared - so it was, but I was set for it so it was okay! The house had everything you need and even more than in other houses, so everything was fine here too. I would book again should I be in the mood for winter and solitude. Thank you!!

Hey, Me and my friends had wonderful and relaxing days at Carsten AirBnb. The apartment was clean and tidy, you had everything you needed including enough utensils to cook for 8 people. In particular, the terrace was a dream to have breakfast in the morning with a lake view and then go either to the lake or hike from there. We highly recommend the place and are very happy that we were also allowed to be here as a somewhat younger group.

Warm welcome to very pleasant accommodation located right next to Klarälven! Well equipped, everything you need is in the house. Car distance to Ekshärad, Torsby, Malung etc. Grocery store, gas station and simpler restaurant minutes away. Beautiful nature and hiking trails nearby.

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting with a friendly contact person. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax in a beautiful region. We as Belgians have already traveled to Sweden for the sixth time where we feel at home. Torsby is a lovely municipality with many activities to do with our four kids. A selection of our activities from last week: - Make fire on Tosseberg slats in Sunne and after on safari tour to spot moose moose. - The 7-Torps members in Östmark: a beautiful walk where you will visit Norway as well as nature reserve Ritamäki. - on the beach bijn Svenneby on the Övre Fryckenmeer fire made and jumped in the still freezing water. - A visit to Karlstad and the Sundstabadet (beautiful indoor swimming pool). - stroll around and eat Fika in Torsby. - ... The holiday home was very pleasant. The bathroom as well as the veranda and terrace were great. A very successful vacation!
