Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Varmland County

It was a beautiful house on an amazing location. Because we arrived in the dark, the path was a bit difficult to find, but the explanation helped a lot. We really enjoyed the house and the area.

The home was idyllic and so peaceful. It was beautifully restored and decorated. It was a pleasure to stay in this home. Lisa was very helpful. She assisted us kindly with each step of the process. We have already discussed booking a time to stay again in the future!

Hey, Me and my friends had wonderful and relaxing days at Carsten AirBnb. The apartment was clean and tidy, you had everything you needed including enough utensils to cook for 8 people. In particular, the terrace was a dream to have breakfast in the morning with a lake view and then go either to the lake or hike from there. We highly recommend the place and are very happy that we were also allowed to be here as a somewhat younger group.

The house is surrounded by nature and is very near the lake. There are many nice details inside, well equipped, and it's very clean. Communication with the host was quick and easy. It looks like it is not for renting only. So... I would always stay there again.

The house and surroundings were even more lovely than we’d imagined. The house had so many beautiful touches, Ken and Emilie have taken such care to make it a home from home. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable, I can’t remember sleeping so well for years! The lake felt like it was just for us, so nice to swim, canoe and row around. We even had a young moose come in to the lake one day! Plus many other moose sightings nearby - and a sweet resident hare. The area was beautiful for walking, the hamlet of Nasbo was a particularly pretty place to walk to. Tresticklan national park was less than an hour’s drive away for fantastic hiking. We are so happy that we booked this. Great if you want to stay in the countryside and a very cozy place that I highly recommend others to book. Incredible surroundings and easy to take the car 15-20 minutes into Karlstad. If we go up again, we will definitely book again.

Everything was good. We were absolutely not missing anything. Pleasant, clean and fully equipped accommodation in a villa, surrounded by a wonderful garden. Nice tree deck to enjoy your breakfast on. Very comfortable beds. The host people were very accommodating and helpful. The bus stop "Lorensbergsparken" is just around the corner. The whole area is quiet and peaceful.

Very nice accommodation that just matched expectations and Johan was very nice and responded quickly. Would highly recommend this place and will gladly come back again.

We stayed there for 2 nights. It was very calm and peaceful with a little pond nearby. It is a perfect place to stay away from the hassle and relax. There were a fee bugs around the window which is totally normal in a farm. I recommend this place for a cozy traditional stay.

We had a wonderful time. A dream view combined with a great host and a cozy and really warmly decorated apartment. The perfect stop to relax and explore the lake area.

Very good accommodation and location in Vansbro for me who competed in triathlon. Bibbi was a great host who left us longer on Sunday so we could keep the cars and shower after the race.

Great place to stay! Just a short stop for us on our way to a canoe trip but everything was as announced.

Absolutely lovely apartment in a beautiful house. All amenities you need is in the apartment and it was well cleaned when we got there. Close to nature and close to the coast with all beautiful small villages and cites. We felt that we had privacy even though staying in someone’s house. Our hosts seem to be lovely and welcoming. I can highly recommend it.
