Holiday rentals with a patio in Varennes-Vauzelles

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, well laid out. The bedding is great. Located shortly after the village, the place is peaceful, charming. The property is bordered by a beautiful terrain; lawn, wood, water feature invite you to squeeze along a course made by our Host. Skilledly placed tables and chairs allow you to enjoy the sun or the freshness of the undergrowth, the landscape. Sharing breakfast outside, having a snack or just opening a book is a pleasure. Bakery, grocery, restaurant are a 5 minute drive away. The welcome is warm, Christophe is at our disposal and attentive so that our stay is pleasant. The cottage can be suitable for both a family and lovers looking for a cozy nest.

We spent 2 nights with Pauline who was able to welcome us with great sympathy when we arrived. She was very accommodating for check-in and checkout times. The apartment fits perfectly as described, it is absolutely charming, the bed very comfortable, all tastefully decorated. We would definitely recommend this place to discover the region!

quiet accommodation is peaceful close to all shops as well as several places that offer activities relaxing evening walk. the accommodation was comfortable rather well decorated with wifi TV channel the little plus the outdoor courtyard:) . I highly recommend this accommodation

Very good apartment for a weekend. Clear instructions and impeccable places.

Great place, no outside noise but only problem the door closes extremely difficult to close it. Very Cosi accommodation, a little small for two people but it goes for one person. Everything is fine and as I said alone the door is a problem.

At Anne-Sophie's, once the suitcases are laid down, it's like home - I didn't miss anything. Impeccable kitchen with all the necessities. Everything for baby is available; impeccable bathtub and shower. The exteriors are charming. I'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Claude's. Her home is absolutely beautiful, with architecture full of charm and character. Each piece is sublimated by works by artists and furniture chosen with great taste and attention. The setting is just as enchanting: the village of La Borne, famous for its sculptors and winemakers, nearby offers a unique and authentic atmosphere. Thanks Patricia for a fabulous stay. The house is lovely - so pretty and has everything we needed. Thank you also for being so responsive about the shower enclosure door and for sending the plumber to fix it so quickly - we really appreciated it. We would definitely recommend. It's in easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops and wine tasting places - totally heavenly!

We booked a little last-minute get away to France. Georges house in the middle of the Loire and close to Charite and Sancerre was the perfect place to go and enjoy! The house had it’s French charm with beautiful interior design, a comfortable house with everything you need, even a bbq to enjoy the local cuisine. Next to that we enjoyed the lovely weather on the outside terrace, swam in the closeby Loire, visited wine and cheese shops, and explored the charm of Charite (and its icecream). George thought with us how to best spend our time and all his recommendations were outstanding. Thank you again to George and Chris for the wonderful stay, this won’t be the last time!

We had a very good time in Philippe’s house. The garden is beautiful, peaceful and restful. We enjoyed a lot the swimming pool and the amenities. The house is very well furnished and it is easy to feel like at home. Philippe and the team of the Conciergerie are very responsive and helpful. Philippe’s house is a very good plqce to enjoy time with family or friends in a peaceful and beautiful environment.

Wow! The chateau, the grounds and the surrounding countryside were simply spectacular. We visited as a group of 12 for a birthday bash with a masked ball and La Jonchère was simply perfect - the salons packed with period furniture, the kitchens and hall ideal for prolonged wine-fuelled soirées, the gardens and pool superb for lazy BBQ-filled days - all set in a gently faded second empire grandeur. The photos really can’t do it justice. Richard and Marlene were wonderful hosts, nearby on site, our only regret is we didn’t get a chance to try out their new cafe! Practicalities wise, although rural and very secluded, it is only a 15-30mins drive to a number of large hypermarchés with a large fully stocked kitchen to feed a group of dozens. The fire pit is a lovely touch. Magnifique!

i loved the place, the rose garden, the character of the stone building! bcp of taste in the decoration! very generous, there were small jars, jam, butter, water, little touches here and there, deposited with great taste and passion for aesthetics! the room is well appointed and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Barbara is friendly, welcoming, open and even discreet. Things to know: The toilet is at the bottom of a stone staircase, outside the bedroom, in the yard. i hope to see you soon!
