Holiday rentals with a patio in Vallecito Reservoir

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kristen’s condo! I personally think it’s even nicer in person than what they’re able to depict in the pictures. The area was gorgeous, peaceful, and comfy. The club property that it’s in also has so much to it; we took advantage of the gym, got some gelato from one of the restaurants, and took a walk on the huge property. It was a little chilly in the apartment when we went (but not terribly so / winter conditions) and so it was a little confusing figuring out how to get the bedroom specifically comfortable temp wise for us. There’s a lot of blankets to use that solved the situation for us though. The bed was also very comfy! But everything else was great!

Great location that’s close to all of the local restaurants and bars yet quiet and private. In fact there’s a great dive bar across the street that had live music Friday night. We went to bed at 10:30 and couldn’t hear a thing.

We thought the pictures looked inviting and the reality was even better. This was a charming apartment, thoughtfully furnished with a wonderful kitchen. The decor was thoughtful, the host wonderful. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay and hope to return someday!

Great place to stay! Well worth the money! The hospitality from Lee and his wife makes you really feel welcomed!

Enjoyed my stay here. Place was clean and was a great spot to stay while snowboarding at wolf creek.

Just a beautiful location! Truly did not want to leave. The house was stunning and the view was even better. Just a short drive to down town Durango and to Purgatory ski resort. Couldn’t have picked a better spot! The host was very sweet and the home was very inviting. The place was well decorated with very modern decor. Hopefully will come again!

This is the best place to stay at Purgatory Resort. Ski-in Ski-out is an understatement. Literally, skied right to ski lift. I would recommend staying here every trip to Purgatory Resort. Kris is always helpful in every aspect.

Angie and Cole are amazing hosts - they were so receptive and helpful for our rescheduling needs of our Airbnb due to my partner’s illness that came on very suddenly. They were extremely communicative, helpful, and kind! They even left us roses and candy for our honeymoon. We loved the space of the Airbnb too and the location was perfect for our time in Durango. My only comments would be that some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty upon our arrival, and the Airbnb itself could use a deep clean but our bedding and everything else was pristine. We loved our stay here. Thank you so much, Angie and Cole!!

Pictures don't do this place justice. The scenery and home are beautiful. The accommodations were exceptional and plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space. The host was responsive.

This was our second time staying here and definitely reinforced everything we loved the first time. Very clean. So comfortable. They provide everything you could need. And you cannot beat the location!! We are grateful for Sarah sharing this little oasis in Durango.

I was in town for some training I needed a close place to stay that was affordable. Stan's place fit all of that plus had some nice conveniences that I appreciated also. Would def stay here again.

If you want a place to yourself but still close enough to town, this is the place to stay at! It was quiet, the dogs were able to run around safely within the yard, and my family enjoyed every part of our stay here. Lauren is responsive and she’s made staying at her Airbnb memorable and comfortable. Choose here if you’re in Durango, you won’t regret it 😁

This 3-bedroom place worked great for our group of 6 adults and our many cooking projects. Had everything we needed - blankets, cookware, kettle, microwave and oven and stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 2 bathrooms. One bath is in the master suite, fyi. The neighborhood is not walking-friendly, but beautiful and convenient.

What an excellent find! We had our pups with us and they enjoyed roaming and playing on the 3 acres of fenced in property. We saw deer, jack rabbits, and a skunk during our stay. It was peaceful. There are nice touches that make you feel at home all around like live plants and flowers. We relaxed in the hot tub, drank coffee in the mornings on the patio. We brought my parents and brother and sister-in-law with us and never felt cramped, there is plenty of room. The general area was 5 star as well. If we are ever back in Durango, we plan to come back! Melissa was an exceptional host, she was friendly and quick to respond.

We had a lovely stay at Steven’s property. The apartment was very well maintained, decorated and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The area is absolutely beautiful! We went on great hikes and had a fantastic time in Durango! We also used the pool and gym at Purgatory Ski Resort.

This Airbnb was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better! The space was incredibly clean and cozy, which made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the Amy’s kindness and helpfulness. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were quick to respond to any questions. Her hospitality made a huge difference in our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free place to stay. We’d definitely come back!

Cozy little stay just north of Durango with mountains all around! Kitchen seemed to have all the basics to cook a nice meal and the mattress was very comfortable.

This was the perfect get away. It was intimate and accommodating. The view was beautiful. It was close to stores and restaurants. We would absolutely do this stay again. Thank you.

What an absolute gem! The Jarvis Studio Suite is everything we could’ve hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by the attention to detail—the perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The space feels cozy yet upscale, with gorgeous finishes, spa-quality toiletries, and a bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. And the location? Unbeatable. Steps from amazing restaurants, shops, and the Durango & Silverton train station. (saves paying for parking in their lot!) Kevin is an exceptional host—responsive, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about creating unforgettable stays. We’re already planning our return trip, and want to stay at his historic whole house properties in the Royal Gorge Region as well!

A fantastic place in a great, quiet location in Durango. We also enjoyed the public/community pool for an afternoon which was a nice bonus.
