Holiday rentals in Vacciaghetto

Alessia welcomed us warmly into her home. This one was perfect for a group of friends, and allowed easy walking access to Lake Orta. We sincerely thank her for those small touches!

A very nice place in a special property. The location in the small village offers wonderful views of the lake with its picturesque towns and imposing mountains. The exchange with the landlord is very pleasant and helpful. The apartment is fresh and tastefully renovated, especially the bathrooms and kitchen are great. There is a lot to discover and do in the area, but the region is not as crowded as neighboring Lake Maggiore. Many nice restaurants of all categories can be easily reached by car by car. On the lake there are a few beautiful swimming spots. We were mostly at Lido di Gozzano (5 minutes by car) or in Orta (10 minutes). The Spiaggia Miami is in walking distance (about 12 minutes). A car is absolutely recommended. As I said, the apartment is newly renovated. Especially for a family, a little more storage space and a wardrobe, in the kitchen additional cutting knives and boards would be desirable. However, these are details Overall, there's plenty of space, the terrace with great views was definitely our favorite place. Bring mosquito spray in summer!

Really enjoyed our week here! The lake is a fab place to come and hike, bike, swim and eat 😋 The place is lovely and quiet. The house has all you need and the garden is a nice place to sit. The only con is there is not a pavement on the walk up to the house from the town so not the nicest walk back. Would defo get bikes for the week next time which would make it a perfect location.

First of all, I start by saying that the welcome is one of the things that for me are very valuable as a business card and on this both Eliana (receptionist) and Mrs. Daniela (host) were very helpful and professional. The info provided was clear and helpful. We also had dinner at the restaurant linked to the "Filo e Fieno" structure and had a great meal on real bales of hay 😜 The property we stayed in wasn't the one for the reservation, but it was more! We were granted an upgrade from Mrs. Daniela since the solution was released the same day, we were very happy! Overall, I really think we'll be back to see you! ♥️

Silvio’s place is perfect if you are looking for somewhere secluded and with a quiet feel, but also not far from the joys of Lake Orta. Silvio himself was a gentle and helpful soul, and a gracious host in every respect. The house itself is basic but has everything you need. You feel very much in nature staying here. We loved it!

First of all, this location is absolutely outstanding. It is directly on the lake just south of town. The island is front and center and it is so peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging next to the lake in the afternoons, watching the ducks swim and the boats sail by. The “cottage” itself is compact but perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. It is very bright and airy, although it would have been great to have screens on the sliding glass doors so we could have breezes at night. We had an unusual check in experience, which was mostly our own fault. We followed the check in directions online; we should have read the House Rules before check in! Because we didn’t, we ended up in the wrong house where the keys didn’t work, so we climbed in a window, only to subsequently learn that someone else lived there! So DO read the House Rules before arrival. Our only suggestion…the cottage is not as well stocked as other AirBnB’s where we have stayed. AirBnB should have a minimum level expect

We spent a week in Roberto's apartment. The apartment was very clean and stylishly furnished. Everything you need is available, even a washing machine in the bathroom. Nothing was missing. On the terrace, there is also a seating area with a parasol. From the apartment, you can reach the lake in 1 minute with a public sunbathing area and swimming facilities. Roberto was super hospitable and was always approachable. In summary, it was a perfect vacation from start to finish, in the apartment you felt at home :)

One of the BEST AirBnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Chiara was an excellent host with very quick communication and so helpful with our baby and providing things we needed. The apartment is very spacious, perfect for 4 people, it has modern features and all the kitchen items you need. It’s also in a very quiet area which is a bonus. The outside has a huge garden and excellent to have a picnic. Free parking outside the property as well. Location was perfect with the main lake a short 8 minute drive down and all shops are close by for any groceries. I would highly recommend this for a lovely holiday to northern Italy.
