Villa holiday rentals in Uvita

We didn't want this vacation to end! This place was so beautiful and quiet. The pool, bar and outdoor kitchen were perfect. So well designed. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the grounds and picking up fresh mangoes, coconuts, limes, starfruit and bananas. The wonderful scent of the ylang ylang trees was everywhere. Absolutely amazing. The house was spacious and we loved the doors of every room and the beautiful arched windows. Great architecture! The towels smelt fresh and were of great quality. The welcome book was truly helpful. Any question we had - the answer was in there. Very well done! One week was just not enough.

We booked this place literally the same day we arrived, so we were hugely appreciative of Dells responsiveness. He got the place sorted and ready for us by 4pm. The caretaker Adrian met us on the property and let us in, he was really lovely and also available anytime on the phone to help us with anything. The house was just what we needed. Super private pool with the most incredible views over the ocean. Beautiful birds soaring above the clouds. Agoutis running across the lawn etc. The power was out one night and we definitely appreciated the big bbq and the candles so we could still enjoy our fish from the market. The drive is not for the feint of heart and absolutely requires a 4x4 - but once you’ve done it the first time it’s totally fine after that! We much preferred being up the mountain in the cool quiet air than down in town. Totally worth the drive in our opinion.

My family absolutely loved Casa Beanie. We really appreciated how nice the host were anytime I communicated with them. I loved the fact there is a book for you with local reccomendations, such as eateries and activities. Our favorite place to eat was los Laurelies if I spelled it correctly. The food was tremendous and had to go back. The home itself was awesome, very modern and clean. The area is quite and private. My son really enjoyed the pool which is absolutely beautiful. We had an awesome time in UVITA. You will not come across more friendlier people. Some of the nicest and helpful people I've ever met. I definitely reccomended this place to stay and wouldn't hesitate staying again. Some local activities we did was horseback riding, Whales tails beach, Uvita Waterfall, and Naycauna waterfalls. The waterfalls are absolutely breath taking.

Martina and the place were absolutely spectacular. Upon arrival, you are taken away to another place with the lush jungle, amazing landscaping, and beautiful views overlooking the Uvita Whale’s Tail below. The property and house are perfect and the location is great as well as you are a less than 10 minute from the town of Uvita with lots of great restaurants & amenities. Can’t wait to come back at is it absolute paradise!

We loved the property, the house is very comfortable , very tidy and clean, also had everything you need to be at home. It's pet friendly, very safe for my little dogs It has a very nice pool And an excellent location. Ignacio the host, very friendly and helpful. I recommend it 100%. I have rented houses in the Dominical/ Uvita/ Ojochal over a dozen times and Roberto and Diana's place has been my favorite by far. Not only is the property extremely unique in it's design and layout, it's amenities, location and incredible view is unmatched. Typically speaking, in this area of Costa Rica, a house with a view this amazing will require a 10 - 15 minute drive up hill. This house is a 5 minute drive from so much and within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do. This made traveling with kids so easy and allowed us to really explore the area while also relaxing at the house often. This house is more than worth it, especially for the reasonable nightly rate in comparison to similar properties. Pura Vida 🌴

I have stayed in dozens of Airbnbs around the world and this one was absolutely immaculate and quite possibly my favorite. The property itself has been curated with deep intention and an artistic eye. It was the first time I have ever stayed in an Airbnb that truly exceeded the expectations portrayed in the already beautiful photos. The views are some of the best I’ve ever seen, the house is stunning and impressive and brought together with a truly designer flair to it. Every detail was thoughtful and of quality. Pascal and Virginie were wonderful hosts and the home cooked breakfast they offer is phenomenal and as gorgeously prepared with the same attention to detail that the property boasts. I will be retuning and recommending this property to friends as family as well!

Absolutely beautiful place. Paradise Pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the patio having coffee every morning listening to the sounds of the rainforest is a truly incredible experience. Everything you need is here. There’s a small marketplace and 2 spectacular restaurants about 500meters up the hill. You can walk to them but you better be in great shape. I would recommend driving. Also highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle.

We've rented a lot of whole house AirBnB's and vacation homes over the years and lots have been lovely, but this was one of the best stays we've ever had. The property is exquisite. The setting is private and beautiful, with views out to the ocean through the canopy. The build quality, attention to detail and material selection were so tastefully done, we especially loved the balinese style pool with zero edge volcanic surround and unfinished stone bottom. The location is perfect, half way between Dominical and Uvita, so you can access both easily and the parks are a short drive away. There are a couple of great restaurants and a little market within walking distance that we frequented. The concierge, cleaning people and private chefs really set the experience apart. All were incredibly professional and made our stay 5 star. Managing something like this in such a remote place is challenging and Giovanna and her team have gone above and beyond. Book it. It's the only place to stay.

This place is amazing. The views are spectacular! Jorge showed us around as soon as we arrived and was very informative. We saw Toucans from the pool area and heard the Howling Monkeys early in the morning. You will need a 4x4 to get up to the house, the road can difficult if it's raining. The bedrooms have A/C, but the main area with the kitchen does not. Because of this you will need to open the doors completely and this does cause bugs to be attracted to the lights in the house especially at night. It would have been nice to be able to close the screen to prevent spiders and flying bugs inside the house, but it was locked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer if needed. The pool was too cold for us to get into, but that would have been an amazing experience as well. Just FYI, they have cameras around the entire outside. Front and back, so when you are outside enjoying the views they will have access to the area.

Our stay was magical. The house absolutely exceeded expectations from the minute we arrived. The view was spectacular, the pool was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the decor was comfortable and inviting. A 10 out of 10!

This home is absolutely magical! Perched atop a mountain, it offers sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and the iconic Whale’s Tail beach—truly one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. Surrounded by treetops, we were treated to daily visits from howler monkeys, toucans, and other vibrant bird species, making the experience feel like a luxury treehouse retreat. The house itself is beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The negative edge pool is a showstopper—floating there while taking in the endless ocean view was unforgettable. What truly sets this property apart is the host. Incredibly helpful and attentive, he provided concierge-level service, arranging our transportation to and from the airport, a rental car delivered right to the house, and even a private chef who cooked us some amazing meals. We could not have asked for more a better experience.

Villa de Lorretta is well accessible, 8-10 minutes drive to downtown. The sea view with the back of the all-glazed villa gives us an amazing view of the sea and the sunset! All amenities are there. The courtyard with the pool is very intimate. The greenery is beautiful and lush! Pineapples and bananas can be harvested on the grounds if they are ready! Direct from the balcony, we have toucans, Aras parrots and another variety whose name I can't remember, Capuchin monkeys etc! Lorretta and her daughter Sherley are available for needs and above all do not hesitate to write to them! We highly recommend their villa for your stay in Uvita! Thanks and enjoy your next stay!

The most gorgeous place! Trees visibly filled with white faced monkeys, scarlet macaws. Howler monkeys in the area but hard to spot. Perfect pool. 10/10

We loved our stay at Pat & Amy's casita and wish we could have stayed longer! It was by far the best place we stayed our entire trip. When we checked in, Pat met us and walked us through the house and gave us tips and recommendations. They even had some snacks and fruit waiting for us, which was really kind. The casita itself was amazing. Spotless, full kitchen, a whole closet area, beach chairs & towels, actual hot water in the shower, and a very comfortable bed! Not to mention the amazing views and all the beautiful plants and wildlife on the property. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony listening to the birds and enjoying the peace & quiet. We also spent an equal amount of time hanging with Pat and Kaia (their sweet puppy) around the pool. Pat & Amy had great suggestions for tours, beaches, and amazing food in the area. They were so gracious, accommodating, hospitable, and genuine. It was truly a wonderful place to stay and we wish we could go back!

Passing through Costa Rica and was looking for isolated quiet place to stay above town of Ojochal for some well deserved rest and relaxation. This home was at end of a road which had no one around for a long ways which was perfect for me. Great scenery off back patio and pool area, and a lot of birds and including interesting local animals such as coatimundi’s that visited daily. I slept in 2nd level bedroom which had comfortable bed and great morning and evening sunset views. Cindy was great host with very prompt and informative communication before, during, and after my long stay of 11 nights. In addition Andy the property manager was awesome, he met me at the home for checkin and provided all the detailed info about the house and the area, couldn’t have asked for anything better. He always provided me quick responses to any questions and even had to correct a few minor home issues during my stay in an expeditious manner. So very nice place to stay if you’re looking in this area.

What a special place! The home is exactly as pictured; and was clean and spacious. Sitting on the deck watching the wildlife everyday was a nature lovers dream. (we even saw Toucans and Parrots!) Rocky was very responsive, gave lots of recommendations and was proactive to make sure we had everything we needed. He provided clear and easy instructions for checking in and finding the home. Glad we stayed here as it was a prefect location for visiting both Uvita and Manuel Antonio. Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful, even better than the pictures, and the outdoor area is just stunning — from the great pool to the lovely forest that leads to a peaceful river. Inside, the space is super spacious with different areas to relax, eat, play board games, and just enjoy. It had everything (and more) we needed to cook our own meals. It truly felt like home, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful home. One of the nicest I have stayed in. Pool is spectacular! The View is incredible. Staff is top notch. My recommendation for grocery would be BM in Dominical. Restaurants at the Marina in Quepos. And Restaurants in Ojchal. Please Note if you want to go to the Manual Antonio park you need to make online reservations. We found out the hard way and was not able to go see it plus it is also closed on Tuesdays. I would highly recommend this home.

Truly enjoyed this magnificent home! Beautiful all around, nothing short of what was described and what we got! Nahomy provided restaurants, Pilates class, yoga class, food delivery, recommendations for excursions etc. She’s got a great place there!!!! Just one thing to note if you have kids staying in the bunk room (which we did) it’s in the “main house” so my 5 year old didn’t feel comfortable being in there so he slept with us the whole time/ also my baby (18 months) was going to share a room with him but of course didn’t. No big deal the master was big enough for all!!! It all worked and any other issues that arose Nahomy was on top of! The main one was the stove / oven so just make sure to listen to thorough instructions at check-in as I was chasing kids and did not. Enjoy your stay here! We sure did!
