My family felt at home. The place is very nice.

I spent two most relaxing days in the loft. Perfect place for those who like being in the middle of nature. The cabin is an open structure with nets instead of windows. It is very well equipped, including a complete kitchen and an outdoor shower. For those who are addicted to A/C, there is none due to the open character of the loft, but 3 fans are more than enough to cool you down. Pablo, who takes care of the property, was most welcoming and nice, leading the way to the cabin and giving some good advice for things to do in the area. I would recommend going there at least in an SUV as the last 5 minutes of driving involve some steep and bumpy bits. My personal highlight was seeing a group of spider monkeys passing by directly in front of the terrace while having my morning coffee! I can only highly recommend this place!

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

Will's place is very nice, with many amenities and ideal conditioning. Very nice spaces with some very interesting modern touches.

Wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. Close to everything, restaurants, shopping and of course the beach. Neff was very responsive when asked questions. Gave great recommendations for restaurants. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. And the best thing was the pool. We used it every day rain or shine. Will hopefully be back soon!!

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The property is incredible. Josh and Cheyenne were super helpful and responsive. Josh showed my kids the chicken coup and greeted us with fresh eggs. He also helped us change our flat which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, tastefully designed with an incredible view. Would highly recommend a four wheel drive and finding it is a bit tricky but Cheyenne guided us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing views. The outside deck and kitchen are great and make the home feel much larger. Rudy, the caretaker, is super responsive if you need anything. The road and driveway are intimidating the first time but get easier after a couple of trips up and down.

This place was great. It was very well kept and spacious for us. We enjoyed the evenings outside by the pool. I it was very private and quiet. We loved the landscape.

Casa Serena is the most perfect hidden little gem nestled in the jungle. Pristine, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. All the little attention to details were greatly appreciated. Umbrella stands, espresso maker, perfect pool, spotless! So lovely in every way. Heather was so helpful. I have so much gratitude for such an amazing experience. You can tell this place is loved. 💖

Good service from Gerardo, he welcomed us and gave us recommendations. The house has a well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning and everything that was advertised. There are other houses on the land but it still has its privacy. The bathroom has a sliding curtain instead of a door, which could be uncomfortable for some people. The neighbors' radio was loud on some occasions, but at night it was quiet and we were able to rest well.

The time in Gerardo's accommodation was very nice. The location to the beach or national park was perfect to reach on foot and we could see many macaws. We lacked nothing in the accommodation and a few meters further you could have your laundry washed for little money. There are also some restaurants in the immediate vicinity that you can visit. In addition, there was a small, beautiful outdoor area where you could sit comfortably in the garden. If you are in Uvita, we highly recommend the accommodation! 😄

I really enjoyed staying here. It was well-located and in an area where it’s easy to walk dogs and explore. Great price for what you get. Some constructive criticism would be to have the middle door, which seems to be a common area bathroom, open. Ours was locked. There is also a camera facing right at the pool area which is understandable but a bit intimidating. A few stains in the shower from a product. You’re asked to wash the dishes which I personally believe is the host’s responsibility. With these easy fixes it would be a perfect stay. Location is flat, not mountainous, and a quick drive to Bahia Ballena, Uvita center, Ojochal, and Dominical.

We really enjoyed our stay. The trees in the garden attracted a lot of birds. We really enjoyed getting up early in the mornings and watch the birds. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a very peaceful stay.

Beautiful simple accommodation, just like in the pictures. Fully equipped, host has already sent the key code including video for orientation in advance. No problems, we are more than satisfied.
