I spent two most relaxing days in the loft. Perfect place for those who like being in the middle of nature. The cabin is an open structure with nets instead of windows. It is very well equipped, including a complete kitchen and an outdoor shower. For those who are addicted to A/C, there is none due to the open character of the loft, but 3 fans are more than enough to cool you down. Pablo, who takes care of the property, was most welcoming and nice, leading the way to the cabin and giving some good advice for things to do in the area. I would recommend going there at least in an SUV as the last 5 minutes of driving involve some steep and bumpy bits. My personal highlight was seeing a group of spider monkeys passing by directly in front of the terrace while having my morning coffee! I can only highly recommend this place!

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

El espacio de Will es muy agradable, con muchas comodidades y un acondicionamiento ideal. Los espacios muy bonitos y con algunos toques modernos muy interesantes.

Wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. Close to everything, restaurants, shopping and of course the beach. Neff was very responsive when asked questions. Gave great recommendations for restaurants. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. And the best thing was the pool. We used it every day rain or shine. Will hopefully be back soon!!

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The property is incredible. Josh and Cheyenne were super helpful and responsive. Josh showed my kids the chicken coup and greeted us with fresh eggs. He also helped us change our flat which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, tastefully designed with an incredible view. Would highly recommend a four wheel drive and finding it is a bit tricky but Cheyenne guided us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing views. The outside deck and kitchen are great and make the home feel much larger. Rudy, the caretaker, is super responsive if you need anything. The road and driveway are intimidating the first time but get easier after a couple of trips up and down.

This place was great. It was very well kept and spacious for us. We enjoyed the evenings outside by the pool. I it was very private and quiet. We loved the landscape.

Tiene una ubicación muy buena para la zona, cerca de Uvita y de Dominical. El hospedaje cómodo, lindo y limpio! Mucha paz en el lugar. Y Karol es una gran anfitriona! Nos aconsejó actividades y respondió rápido!

La anfitriona muy amable y comunicativa. El lugar precioso, una vista estupenda del mar, muy ordenado, limpio, muy tranquilo, la naturaleza hermosa.

Cuenta con todo los esenciales sin duda, ademas es muy bonito, moderno y limpio; es incluso mejor que las fotos. Además Martine nos ayudó por mensajes con cada cosa que necesitamos - excelente lugar!

Un lugar realmente hermoso, muy tranquilo y lleno de armonía, rodeado de naturaleza, con una excelente ubicación, donde encuentras playas, ríos y cataratas cercanas. La comodidad y limpieza de las casiticas así como la atención fue 10/10, una experiencia que espero volver a vivir pronto. Gracias!

Un apartamento increíble, se disfruta la comodidad y apto para descansar placenteramente. En las mañanas despertar con los sonidos de la naturaleza es increíble y la vista al mar desde la habitación. Desde el balcón o la piscina puedes disfrutar el atardecer.

Casa Serena is the most perfect hidden little gem nestled in the jungle. Pristine, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. All the little attention to details were greatly appreciated. Umbrella stands, espresso maker, perfect pool, spotless! So lovely in every way. Heather was so helpful. I have so much gratitude for such an amazing experience. You can tell this place is loved. 💖

Buena atención de Gerardo, nos recibió y dio recomendaciones. La casa tiene cocina bien equipada, aire acondicionado y todo lo que se anunciaba. Se encuentran otras casas en el terreno pero igual tiene su privacidad. El baño tiene una cortina corrediza en vez de puerta, lo cual podría ser incómodo para algunas personas. Se escuchaba la radio de los vecinos fuerte en algunas ocasiones, pero en la noche fue silencioso y pudimos descansar bien.

Die Zeit in Gerardo’s Unterkunft war sehr schön. Die Lage zum Strand bzw. Nationalpark war perfekt zu Fuß zu erreichen und wir konnten viele Aras sehen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt in der Unterkunft und ein paar Meter weiter konnte man seine Wäsche waschen lassen für wenig Geld. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es auch einige Restaurants, die man gerne besuchen kann. Außerdem hatte man einen kleinen schönen Außenbereich, wo man sich gemütlich in den Garten setzen konnte. Wenn man in Uvita, können wir die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! 😄

I really enjoyed staying here. It was well-located and in an area where it’s easy to walk dogs and explore. Great price for what you get. Some constructive criticism would be to have the middle door, which seems to be a common area bathroom, open. Ours was locked. There is also a camera facing right at the pool area which is understandable but a bit intimidating. A few stains in the shower from a product. You’re asked to wash the dishes which I personally believe is the host’s responsibility. With these easy fixes it would be a perfect stay. Location is flat, not mountainous, and a quick drive to Bahia Ballena, Uvita center, Ojochal, and Dominical.

We really enjoyed our stay. The trees in the garden attracted a lot of birds. We really enjoyed getting up early in the mornings and watch the birds. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a very peaceful stay.

Schöne schlichte Unterkunft, genau wie auf den Bildern. Ausstattung vollständig vorhanden, Gastgeber hat bereits einiges im Voraus den Schlüsselcode inklusive Video zur Orientierung geschickt. Keine Probleme, sind mehr als zufrieden.

El departamento es muy cómodo para dos personas, Uvita es muy chico entonces nos quedó cerca de todo. Ideal para tomar tours en el parque Marino Ballena. La terraza muy linda y tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar sin problemas lo necesario.
