Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Uppsala County

We loved our stay at Mariana and Jonas’s peaceful farm just 15 minutes from the Stockholm airport—perfect for our family of five before our flight. Jonas was a wonderful host, showing us the horses, chickens, and even a runestone! Fresh eggs were a lovely touch. He also recommended a great lakeside restaurant in an old factory. A sunny, memorable end to our trip—highly recommend!

A great place to stay and explore the beautiful coast. The chickens, cats and horses are a delight. I got to pet a horse! The Swedish archipelago trail is right nearby and gorgeous.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

Good place with great host! The place was very nice, homy, clean, fully equiped, sourounded with peaceful nature and 5 minute walk to the ocean. 7 of us felt very comfortable like home, and warm during winter time at the end of December. The place was also very safe with security alarms inside and outside. Peter is a very great, and friendly host who kindly hosted his home for our stay with warm welcome. Peter was very responsive, and took care of us very well and giving instructions for the house. Many thanks to Peter for allowing us to stay there.

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

The house was beautiful and Jenny is a great host. We felt very comfortable and the house is very tastefully decorated with loving details. The surroundings are great and you can walk to the small hamlet of Ulva to enjoy a cup of coffee or browse through one of the artisans. During our stay, there was also a flea market and a vintage car club meets there regularly. It is very easy to get to Uppsala. Jenny was always helpful and quick to reach. A very attentive hostess

A wonderful, quiet place to relax and experience nature. The house is spacious, individually and lovingly furnished, but much of it is getting on in years. No fee is charged for the final cleaning, so it is up to the previous guest how clean you find the house. Jens was extremely friendly and helpful…Unfortunately, we did not meet Ida. Wi-Fi was not available

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. The house itself is spotless, minimalist, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was exactly as described. Anna, the host, is truly a ray of sunshine; kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Great comfortable large apartment, appears to be newly refurbished. bright and clean, all amenities you need. a 20 min walk from the centre of town. peaceful area.

Bjorn place is perfect for short/medium length stays in Uppsala. The apartment is nicely located with respect to public transportation and you can also easily walk to the city center. the flat is equipped, especially the kitchen.

Our stay was like going back in time. The pastoral setting beckoned us to walk in the mornings. Day trips to Uppsala were effortless. A truly fantastic experience with friendly hosts.

Had a great stay, was a very private feel. Host responded very quickly and was accommodating to requests. Cleaning instructions could have been clearer but overall great communication.

We had beautiful, relaxed days in this wonderful and very tastefully furnished holiday home on the quiet but easily accessible island. The infrastructure and equipment are very good and well thought out, we lacked nothing. Many foods, spices, etc. were available in the house and the supermarket on the neighboring island was easily accessible by boat. The small electric boat was great for exploring the nearby coast and made shopping on Möja a nice excursion. Even in the rain, it was very cozy and we enjoyed nature in any weather through the large windows. In the evening, even deer came by.

We had a great weekend in Haleh's nice house! Haleh was very nice, helpful and quick to respond. Clear instructions for check-in & easy to use keys hanging in a box with code lock. We would be glad to come back 😊

Very cozy house that is right by the water. Nice area and close to Rådmansö bakery! Everything was great. The drinking water tastes a little different but just as the host recommends, you can bring your own drinking water. Will gladly come back! 🌟

Birgitta’s house is absolutely beautiful! Both the house and the backyard, not to mention the views over the fields are just stunning. All of us staying were blown away by the historic charm and abundance of space - we would love to come stay again!
