We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. Highly recommended!

My stay with my family of 6 was amazing. It was very spacious. The place was exactly as described. The living room view toogood to be true. The neighbourhood was very pretty. Would really recommend it to a big group.

We, 5 friends who were here for sports, were warmly welcomed at the accommodation. The quiet, idyllic location is a dream! The old farmhouse is also very charming and sparkling clean. Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were also able to have breakfast outside and enjoy the starry sky at night. Thank you Elisabeth and family for the great stay. We will be happy to come back!

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

A few wonderful days have passed, many thanks to our hosts Sonja and Thomas! An idyllic place to rest, hike, splash, and enjoy time! We were lovingly cared for in a beautiful historic baker's house, which was decorated with a lot of love and heart and it lacked nothing! Extremely dog-friendly and plenty of space for fun and play. The kitchenette is great for preparing small dishes and salads. Thank you so much for having us! The country and its people welcome you and you can do exactly what you want. Amelie's place was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities that a family could ask for. The lake view is simply amazing. You could spend the entire day at the apartment and unwind looking at the lake. Amelie was a very good host.

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's accommodation is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The accommodation is really nice and there was nothing we lacked. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. She always gave personal tips on hikes and local events. There is much more to be said here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from our own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

The studio is small but sufficient. The amenities (bath shower, cooker) are not exactly the latest, but everything works as it should. Mainly, this is a great location as a starting point for car trips. The host is very helpful and communicates well even when not present. The railway is in the process of being renovated,so be careful, there are no trains here now (May 2025).

The place is near the bus stop to Dachstein and Hallstat and these places are 5-10min away only from the property. Therese was nice enough to allow us for an early check in to leave our bags since we tried to go to Dachstein on our first day (and funicular to go up only until 3-3:30 pm during our trip). Tip: make sure to bring your own condiments/coffee/tea and food because the grocery is not that near.

Great apartment, only 3-5mins walk to the cathedral and right by access to the castle. The apartment was spacious, quiet, had great amenities (including access to a washing machine and dryer). Our host was responsive to all questions and his instructions were clear and easy to follow for check-in. A folder of local info would have been useful, but overall a great stay and a great host.

If you want an authentic Austrian countryside experience while you travel, look no further. Great location in the countryside outside of Salzburg. Highly recommend if you do stay here to have your own personal vehicle as it’s a ways outside of town. So quaint and beautiful. Fritz was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of outlets throughout the house for all your devices to charge. Couches and beds were comfortable. Mix matched towels, cups and cutlery however everything had its own charm to it. The washing machine is smaller than we’re used to using although it did a great job washing our clothes. Nice big shower with plenty of water pressure. There is an overnight accommodation tax (tourist tax) imposed by Austria apart from the Airbnb fees. While we were there (June 2025), it was €2,50 per person, per night although the tax amount can fluctuate. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fritz’s place and would recommend it to others.

spent one night here during our cycling holiday. It was perfect for the short stay and it was for 2 people. However, you should know each other well if you live here. There is only one door to the toilet. Many are super attentive. Small things that make living here pleasant

We felt very comfortable. Bea and Alexander were very open-minded and had great tips for activities, parking, etc. We'll be back.

A very pleasant welcome in the apartment was that everything was thought out, such as treats for children and dogs, and a bed for dogs, etc. Spacious and functional accommodation for at least our family of four and two dogs. Nothing to complain about, only good things to say. Very friendly and peaceful area, with a very nice playground for children in the backyard. Hosts are very friendly and respond well to messages. We can highly recommend this home.

The stay at Valentin's was great. The apartment matched the pictures and it had everything you could want. Valentin was a very nice host and greeted us personally upon arrival. We would come back anytime:)

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

A great place in a great location. City square just a few minutes' walk away, outdoor swimming pool right on the doorstep Shopping at the discount store is easy to reach by car. Otherwise, the Schärding city center attracts with its charm and many great local shops. Price performance is top and the communication is flawless and very fast.

We (my partner and I) stayed at Tabea's place for three nights. Tabea welcomed us warmly and explained everything necessary. The apartment was spotless and stylishly furnished. It was exactly to our taste and we felt right at home. The bed was super comfy too. The location of the property is quiet and a great starting point for activities. Tabea was very open to communication and helpful. We highly recommend it and would come back any time. It was by far the best Airbnb we've had so far. The view from the balcony to the lake is breathtaking.

We rented the apartment for a month when our daughter was in rehab in Rohrbach. Everything was as described, you can find your way around right away and Armin responds very quickly to inquiries. We will be happy to come back!
