Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Umpqua River

Nice comfortable place along the north Umpqua river. Quiet setting. We went for walks along the road and also took the kayaks out on the river. There is a dam downstream so there is little current in the river at this point and it’s like paddling around on a lake. Very peaceful and tranquil. Will definitely stay here again.

Although our stay was short, I would definitely recommend staying here. The house looks plain upon arriving, but it’s a whole other story when you step inside. They definitely invested in the decor and amenities. The space is comfy and beautiful. We were thrilled to be greeted by a chicken and two roosters on the other side of the patio door. Being animal lovers, we got a kick out of them returning again the next morning. The view is definitely the best feature. The wide open land and rows of grapes made for a relaxing night on the patio. If you’re touring the area or just passing through like we were, this place is a gem.

Our stay at the cabin in the woods was so peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. The fire pit was perfect. We spend all our evenings sitting beside it enjoying the quiet. A little deer visiting morning and evening was a bonus. We would recommend the cabin. Chloe and Jason were extremely helpful hosts.

Everything I wanted and more was taken care of - hosts were INCREDIBLY thoughtful! Great amenities, really comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed feeding the ducks with the food provided by the hosts. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay in this house. We were in town for family and when they visited there was no problem keeping the kids occupied. This was the perfect spot for R&R.

Great pit stop on our trip from SF to Portland! The place was a couple miles off the highway in a quiet neighborhood and the location felt safe. There’s a long driveway for off street parking too. Pam was friendly and easy to communicate with when I had a question, and she also made sure to reach out with some helpful info a few hours before our check in. The AC was also thoughtfully turned on for us before we arrived.

Quaint place. Beautiful garden. Nice, quiet neighborhood close to eateries and shops. Hosts were very accommodating. It had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Tiffany and her co-host were absolutely amazing. They were very flexible with my arrival and departure. The house was absolutely amazing. my kiddo loved sitting on the porch in the swing chair.

Kristen’s place was lovely and nearby to several great restaurants! It’s quite walkable, although worth noting that it’s on a somewhat busy street. She also did a great job of thoughtfully stocking the place with everything we needed and more! Thank you Kristen!

This condo was beautiful with nice views and felt safe and secure. The only issue we had was we were unable to watch either of the televisions, after several attempts ... we gave up. Everything else was great and exactly as described.

The unit was one of four in a beautifully maintained older house, and it had everything we needed — a cozy bedroom, a pull-out couch, a full kitchen, and even a private enclosed porch that made the space feel extra special. The host was incredibly kind and understanding, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The house itself had such a local, lived-in feel — like we were part of the neighborhood. Plus, having restaurants just steps away made everything super convenient. Overall, it was the perfect home base for exploring Eugene. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming spot with character and a great location.

We loved our stay at Stacy's and it was everything we hoped it would be. We had wanted to stay there for a long time but had a few life events happen along the way and needed to reschedule several times. Stacy was always gracious and accommodating. So to finally get there was a big deal, and the wait was most definitely worth it!

Eugene was only a 20-minute drive away, which made day trips easy and convenient. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, well-located retreat. Patty and Frank, the hosts, are incredibly kind and maintain their property with great care. They love where they live, which reflects in their attention to the gardens and grounds. They have created their own Pura Vida.
