House holiday rentals in Tunkhannock Township

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Hospitality was worth more than 5 stars. Joe, Amy, and Steph are the best, they provide exactly what they described, no funny business. I appreciate their beautiful home with quality amenities. My family was satisfied and will definitely book again in the future.

This was a very clean and charming house and location. The actual property is as described. The property is not a 3 min. walk to the lake as indicated. There is no actual lake access that we found in a 3 minute walk (lake may be close but behind private property you can't access). The "beach", which is the association's lake access, is .6 of a mile away, about a 5 minute car ride, but more like a 20 minute plus walk up and down hills.

We loved this Airbnb. It was beautiful there and Michael was quick to answer any questions. We did manage to get on the water with the kayaks, so that was great. We will definitely be back.

Monica’s space was wonderful. The outside spaces, common rooms, and bedrooms were all relaxing, enjoyable, spacious, well kept, and clean. Highlights included the hot tub, and outside deck area. To use the pool is a steeper fee per person than we would have liked for the crowded area - not a knock to the host just a heads up for renters :)

The house had all new everything...furniture, bathroom, kitchen. It had a wonderful hottub. There were woods behind the house so it felt private and peaceful. Tesla even provided a welcome gift and some thoughtful amenities.

Kim went above and beyond to make sure our stay was phenomenal. The house is gorgeous and well-stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beautiful lake. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a serene getaway. Thank you Kim!!

We had such a nice time in this beautiful home! The pickleball was a hit with our whole family and nice on rainy days, super fun game room, the house was clean and so well designed with everything you might need for your stay. And the deer were such a treat to see each day!

Elizabeth has a wonderful property and is an excellent host. I’ve only used AirBnB twice, both with Elizabeth, and almost feel spoiled as I doubt any host can’t match her hospitality. She is great, and I’d recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely STUNNING Airbnb - it’s immaculately clean, everything is high end and Jean and Dee have literally thought of everything that will make your stay comfortable. It’s a beautifully designed home meets luxury hotel. Not only is the farmhouse stunning, the surrounding outside areas are perfect. Our two kids loved exploring the trails and looking for fairies, and sitting around the fire pit while the kids played with all the swings and mud kitchen was a real highlight. We can’t wait to come back!

You can tell when someone really cares about their listing and wants you to be comfortable and have a good time. Randy’s place is awesome. I’d happily go back!

We had such a great stay! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures — really spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax, and there’s so much to do nearby. We spent time in Jim Thorpe, which was full of great restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Would definitely love to come back!

A beautiful spot - inside and out. Went for a quiet weekend and had a really great stay. House was comfortable and clean and beautifully done. Gorgeous woods in back and hot tub! Easy to get around. Since it is part of an Home Owners Association (HOA) guests need to provide car info in advance, but it's easy. House was perfect for chilling and socializing. There is a game room and hot tub too. There is no sound system, so bring your own if you want to listen to music. Close to lakes and trails and lots of natural beauty. Great stay!

The house was perfect for our three day visit. It was cute, clean and cozy. Our only disappointment was the lack of kitchen supplies (the kitchen was severely lacking in supplies). There were no kitchen utensils for cooking at all, as well as no mixing bowls, cooking trays, knives etc. We were unable to prepare any meals that required cooking. Luckily it was a girls weekend so we settled for salads but we had a refrigerator full of food we couldn’t use which was inconvenient. There was also a very strong chemical smell in the house. We ended up opening the door and windows to air it out which helped but it was over powering for the first part of our stay. All this being said I would rent this home again I would just plan our meals differently.

What a gem! From the moment you walk in the door, all the stress melts away! Meticulously spotless. Open floor plan. Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked kitchen. Every amenity you could possibly think of was provided. I really can't say enough. Mike was super responsive and checked in with us. My husband and I felt right at home. We will be back!

I seriously cannot tell you how amazing Victorias cozy cabin was and her great hospitality speedy responses i mean everything was 10000/10 experience! The pictures doesn't do the home the justice it deserves to truly appreciate this home you have to stay here ! & i will tell you this wont be my last time staying here. I stayed from fri-Mon with my 3 kids husband and mother in law , we had WAY MORE then enough space ! The decks were amazing we grilled almost every night and even had a lil fire and did smores ! We especially enjoyed the deers! Everything was so peaceful calm, & relaxing . Checking in was so smooth ! The neighborhood was friendly. Everything was extremely clean & fully functional and working ! The most important and best part was Victoria! She is literally a superhost! She responded within minutes each time i wrote her ! Even before i got to the house ! During the stay i mean she is truly a gem ! & i do mean she literally was the best part !CANT WAIT TO RETURN❤️

If youre looking for the perfect getaway house this is definitely it. This house has everything you need (full kitchen, grill, outside patio, fire pit even a game room to keep the kiddos entertained) everything was clean and overall just felt cozy. Host were always kind and responsive. I would highly recommend if youre thinking about booking, dont think twice!
