I would definitely visit with my family again. Everything was absolutely PERFECT!!!

Great way to spend a few days winding down. The lake was close to the house. Our dogs enjoyed a morning swim and a nice long walk on the trails to dry off and release some energy.

Great response time. we had a few issues, host was quick to remedy. we enjoyed our stay. would stay again. there is a pool and food at the lodge I would highly recommend. when you arrive there is a security gate at the end of the community, you have to check in with them. they give you your pass and make sure you are supposed to be there. the guard also told us you can get access to go to the lodge or amenities without being a guest staying overnight.

My family has stayed at several cabins over the years and this one by far was one of the best! Literally everything you could ever need was provided. The consideration and care put into this Airbnb felt like a home. Generous furnishings and supplies were available and it was close to some markets if you needed anything. We also liked how dog friendly the listing was. The cabin and surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. Very clean. Would love to come stay again if we have the opportunity to.

Everything is so beautiful, the stay was quiet, a very familiar and cozy space, very clean, everything super tidy, the decoration very nice, an excellent option to spend time with the family

Great vacation. Wendy was the best host we have ever had—responsive and generous. The house itself was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever been in. We loved the use of the kayaks and would absolutely come back to enjoy Alpine Lake here again. Very relaxed, friendly vibe within the whole community.

Our stay was wonderful! The house was absolutely gorgeous and had SO MANY extras, including bikes, yard games, ping pong, video games, board games and books. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The house was spotless, the beds were all comfy and cozy and the deck was relaxing and peaceful! We did have a couple of hiccups during our stay. The hot tub was turned off at the breaker (which thankfully we figured out quickly) and was quite cold and took overnight to fully heat up. It also had a strange smell when we opened it, so we messaged Taylor-Made and they quickly sent someone over to service it. Lastly, I didn’t realize until it was too late that never received an invite to their app, as they requested, which made it a little difficult to access checkout instructions especially trash disposal instructions. Not a huge deal as we figured it out on our own. Overall our stay at Yes, deer! Was wonderful! We would 100% stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at this Air BnB, especially since we were permitted to have a dog there. We enjoyed how close it is to Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were as expected.

Fantastic aesthetic! Loved the comfortable beds and spaces! Was extremely relaxing after a long shift at work! Lovely friendly town also would without a doubt book again! Great communications from host along with plenty of instructions on anything that would be needed! Thank you Alison

I can’t say enough about our wonderful stay at Rosemarie’s house! Her home is HUGE and so comfortable. We had everything we needed, even when we decided to grill at 10pm. You will be blown away by the deck and the surroundings. It’s perfect for a group or family getaway. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the weekend. We are already planing 2 more trips to the area and we will definitely be staying with Rosemarie!

Great and relaxing place for a get together. The kitchen was well supplied and the rooms were all very comfortable. Pool table was a little wonky but we had fun anyway 😅

This was our group’s first time in a ski in/out house and it did not disappoint. The convenience of being able to walk out back to ski was priceless. We had a great time and will be back!

Our stay at Catherine and Jake’s place was ideal for a group trip to the Canaan Valley area. The sleeping spaces were cozy and living room/dining room was spacious for our group of 7. We loved listening to the creek behind us and the easy access to pick up the Allegheny Trail, and quick drive to Heart of the Highlands area, as well as picking up the western side of Dolly Sods. The space was clean and we loved the little details throughout!

Liked the industrial-cabin feel of the place. No problems with heat. Nice short walk into town with restaurants and shops, able to beat the crowds from the ski hills. Great for 2 (read below about steep steps to loft bedroom); a bit tight for 4 but doable.

It's a lovely place, having 3 bedrooms was nice, Blackstone grill to cook on was great! Cute little town of Parsons, WV

Our group loved this home! It was conveniently located close to the lodge, however I do not recommend the walk in ski boots. The mudroom was perfect for getting ready and drying out clothes. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of counter space. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely amazing time! This home was well worth it. The views driving through the mountains were spectacular. Paul described their home as perfect and it did not do our experience justice, it was more than perfect. Their home is full of the most amazing art and sculptures. We didnt stop finding new things to look at and discuss all weekend. Thomas is a great little town we went to the Purple Fiddle for some amazing live music and drove 10 minutes to Davis for all the shops and restaurants. One of the most relaxing weekends we have ever had. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you both for creating such a wonderful slice of heaven and allowing the rest of us to enjoy it!

My husband took 2 teens and one tween for a weekend of skiing. I found and booked the house and planned on joining them but sadly work got in the way. They loved the house and location!!! The teen boys thought it was “very cool inside”. Would definitely book again!

The home has plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen is easy to use. I’d like a bit more clothes storage but we could easily make it work. It was wonderful to have a full bath downstairs. We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for our waterfall touring and the proximity to restaurants. There were 4 of us but the house could easily have fit another couple.

Great home and location on the mountain. Just a short walk to the mid mountain chairlift. Ski in ski out is so convenient. Great view of sunsets from the large windows in the back of the home. Super cozy on the sectional sofa in front of the wood stove.

The place was super clean and comfortable. Well worth the price paid and Heather is a very good host as she answered any questions I had quickly and was super helpful during my stay.

We had a wonderful winter stay! The house was inviting and cozy, and as other guests have mentioned well appointed with comfortable beds.

Mary is an excellent host. She went above and beyond - even leaving us firewood ready to ignite in the fireplace the first night with extra wood inside. Great stay.
