Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Travelers Rest

Staying at Thomas's cottage was the perfect decision! Though it may take some creative parking, the location is quiet, tranquil, and beautiful, especially at sunset. It's a great place to escape to, especially with a loved one. I will recommend to anyone who wants a place to stay that is near Greenville and Traveler's Rest.

We had a lovely stay at Carol’s place. The house was just as described. The yard was huge and fenced in which was perfect for traveling with our dogs. The house was comfortable, clean, and in a cute and safe neighborhood. We found it conviently located to downtown too. Everywhere we wanted to go was within a 5-10 minute drive or Uber ride, but we also enjoyed walking to a few places. We came to town for a concert that ended up being postponed, but we still had a great time exploring Greenville and relaxing at the comfy home base that Carol provided.

Loved our stay, Carolina was super helpful and accommodating. The house was tastefully decorated, lived up to the beautiful pictures, and provided a homey feeling we loved coming back to after spending the day out. Would love to be welcomed back. Thanks for everything.

The house is beautiful, spacious, and relaxing, with an amazing view of the lake and surrounding wildlife. Spotting bald eagles, blue herons, and hawks was a special treat.

Best equipped rental I've ever been to... amenities, kitchen, and toys/games. Host was responsive, friendly, and kind. The state park is walking distance from the house, so it's a great location for those who like to hike. Considerations: 17 mins from downtown

Joe’s place was beautiful. There also was everything we could need. We loved the little touches like shampoo and conditioner. All the toilet paper we could need, even toothpaste if we needed it. This is also a great location so close to downtown. It’s also very kid friendly. We will definitely come back if need to visit Greenville again.

Finally an Airbnb that lives up to expectations and beyond. By far the nicest Airbnb we stayed in. DJ was kind, prompt and helped us with every aspect of our reservation and stay. The cottage was very comfortable and the little extra touches DJ provided make the stay even more enjoyable. Also enjoyed that Paris Mountain State park was right next door and a pass was included. Will defiantly book this little gem again the next time we're in Greenville. Highly recommended!

What a great stay. The house is nestled in a beautiful spot in the mountains. Saw deer and other wildlife. Enjoyed the patio so much. Beds are comfy and Kitchen stocked well. Host answered my questions promptly and answered my questions. Would love to go back. My husband used the jacuzzi every night. It’s wonderful for families. I can’t think of anything they could have done better. Excellent.

Darryl was an excellent host and we loved his place. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the location couldn’t have been any better. My husband enjoyed the park across the street for his morning walk, and even found an area to do body-weight exercises. We had an all-around perfect stay.

Mountain View was the perfect place to end our days while visiting Brevard. Lynda & Bob were very friendly & responsive to any questions. The beds were very comfortable & the amenities were very nice. The view was great & it was very peaceful during our stay. Thanks Lynda & Bob for a great stay.

We were in town for a baseball tournament at Fluor Field. Matthew's place was an easy walk to/from the field. It is a cute, vintage apartment and Matthew's description is very accurate. We used the noise machine and didn't have any issue sleeping. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Lauren and Tyler were wonderful hosts and the interior is cozy, organized, and has many heartwarming and thoughtful touches that made staying at "Base Camp" a joy! Outside there is convenient parking and a walkable neighborhood for our pups with happy, active, well cared-for kids and an older friendly neighbor to chat with. Lauren and Tyler shared suggestions for local sites and restaurants -- along with the scent of a fresh spearmint plant on the way to be planted in their garden and gave us a beautiful lily blossom that we enjoyed during our stay. At nearby "Pizza and Then Some" drive thru pick up the pizza was yum! Lauren and Tyler were welcoming, helpful and thoughtful all through our visit! Thanks so much!

We had an absolute delight staying at Cindy's place! Located in a peaceful neighborhood, and close to all the essential amenities. The property itself is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and furnished with brand-new everything. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Our kids had a blast playing at the community's playground and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, admiring the charming homes. This was our first experience staying in a tiny community like this, and we're so glad we discovered Cindy's gem. It's now our go-to 'second home' whenever we're in the Piedmont/Greenville, SC area. A huge thank you to Cindy and her co-hosts for providing our family with a comfortable and relaxing stay. We appreciate your hospitality!

We had the pleasure of staying at Melodie’s apartment while in town for a wedding. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our girls loved having their own bunk beds and the King Bed was very comfortable. Everything we wanted or needed was provided. Melodie was so gracious and very responsive. I only wish we had more time to spend at the place enjoying how beautiful and peaceful it all is. This couldn’t be located in a better area. Loved waking up to seeing the mountains and rolling hills. What a wonderful trip and we’ll be back!

Such a amazing place to stay very nice hosts had treats and drinks available when we got there. Had a great shower and comfy beds and lovely outside area wish I could've stayed longer will definitely come again....

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cabin! The hot tub was such a nice treat for us. Everything went smoothly with checking in. Love that the place felt secluded and we could see the stars clearly at night!

We love this place! Catherine is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond in hospitality and in communicating with us. When we arrived, we found fresh donuts and popcorn from local businesses awaiting us as well as complimentary beverages in the refrigerator. Lovely smelling bath salts and robes provided, made a delightful hot tub experience. The bed, linen and pillows were dreamy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved Wahoo cabin. It was Private, peaceful, clean, beautiful, and a location very central to all of our planned adventures. The host was very helpful and responsive- this trip left no room for my typical travel anxiety bc she was so proactive and prepared. The private river access was a nice feature I hadn’t realized was available and was amazing. We will spend more time there next time. We were able to kayak devils fork state park , hike table rock state park, hike bald rock, visit pretty place, and visit duke world of energy- all within an easy driving distance. We had a rain day on our trip and enjoyed spending time in the cabin playing games and streaming movies. The host was great! I can’t wait to come back..

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Napaw Mountain, a charming cabin nestled in the mountains. The name, a sweet tribute to Nana and Papaw, set the tone for a cozy and welcoming experience. The cabin offers a great balance of seclusion and convenience—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to hiking trails and diners just a short drive away. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like marshmallows and roasting sticks for the firepit, which is surrounded by soft lighting, creating a lovely evening atmosphere. We enjoyed the on-site hike to the water, and dipping our feet in the cool water afterward was the perfect reward. The hammocks on the deck were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The cabin is clearly made with love, and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s a peaceful retreat ideal for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. Overall, a great place to relax and recharge.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin! It was so peaceful to eat outside on the deck while soaking up the beautiful mountain view! The cabin had everything we needed including dishes including a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that might be helpful for other renters to know is that the parking area is tight and you need to be comfortable backing out of the steep drive down by the house. We did not need 4-wheel drive to get in or out of it, but we were here in June. There is a parking area at the top, but it would be a decent walk to carry bags, etc down to the house. It was also tight for us to turn around up there but doable in our Ford Explorer. If we had driven our Dodge Ram 2500, we would not have been able to turn around up there, and we would've had to back out a very long gravel drive down to the road. This does not impact my five star review. Amanda is an amazing host! We would definitely stay here again!

We all liked the rustic cabin. It was very quaint, comfortable and a great location. The porches are so nice and relaxing. Enjoyed the place with our family very much. Great memories and exercise made on our NC Mountain trips always!.

Magical place to stay. Lots of great hikes with waterfalls just a short drive away. Seamless experience with Zoltan—he’s done the cabin up beautifully with everything you’ll need. Especially loved the evenings by the firepit.
