A gem in a former monastery

We had a wonderful time at Lake Maggiore – despite the mixed weather! Almost continuous rain did not stop us from enjoying our stay in Monica's fantastic apartment to the fullest. The place offers real luxury and comfort: the kitchen is perfectly equipped (including juicer, wok, small olive bowls and much more), so we could ideally use the bad weather to cook extensively. It was also particularly nice to read comfortably in front of the fireplace or watch the rain on the balcony by the courtyard. Cannobio is a charming little town – the weekly market on Sunday and Thursday are highly recommended! Monica was an amazing host: incredibly friendly, open and always helpful. Our culinary recommendation: Oggi Pasta & Trattoria Cannobio (a bit more expensive, but really delicious)! We will definitely be back in summer, looking forward to a hike to Monte Giove and a boat tour

Judith and Hans were always available and always provided information quickly. Communication was therefore quick and uncomplicated. They also asked if everything was okay upon arrival. The apartment is very clean and has everything you will need. The view is a dream - you also accept the path there (steeper stairs) ;-) We will definitely be back! Thank you! A presto!

With 6 people, we spent an extended weekend in Anna's newly renovated and very high-quality furnished apartment. The kitchen is perfectly equipped - there are also enough dish towels, dishwasher, dishwasher tablets , Zewa, plenty of toilet paper - and a bottle from the well-equipped wine fridge to welcome you. We felt right at home. Very comfortable beds , state-of-the-art showers. The fact that a sleeping area had to be used very open and with a fold-out closet bed was not a problem for us as a family. On the beautiful terrace with comfortable furniture, you can spend wonderful time with beautiful views. The location is great - in the middle of it - and everything is easily accessible. There you can't complain about ringing church bells and noises from the pub in addition to the separate bedroom ( also with private bathroom). We would definitely book Anna's apartment again.

Even better than the photos! Amazing rental in a great location. The views cannot be beat. The hosts met us there and helped us get into the place. They were to ensure we had everything we needed. Vicky helped with recommendations and reservations for us too. Can’t wait to visit again!

We really appreciated Maura and her husband's place. It is very quiet and offers a sunny terrace with beautiful views to the surrounding mountains. Walking via the famous "Punte del Ballerino" in 15 minutes you are in the center and on the lake of Cannobio. We went to the lake with our two children every day and drank the best Italian coffee and warm chocolate milk. The kids loved it. The apartment is lovingly furnished with many details. We also lacked nothing in the kitchen, and we were even provided with many basic ingredients such as spices, oil and pasta from Maura. There were also cookies and sweets for the kids. We had good sleep, the beds are very comfortable. On colder days you can heat the house very well. We highly recommend to stay here. Thank you for everything, dear Maura!
