Absolutely fantastic stay at Zion Ponderosa - the activities, the environment, the staff - all made for a superior vibe. It exceeded expectations a for me. Jennifer was crucial in getting me signed up for activities that matched my interests. Front desk staff was lovely and always helpful. Larissa, our Pine Knolls horse riding guide, was an absolute sweetheart and a cutie pie. She kept things light and fun the whole way while helping those who needed guidance with their horse (not me, I was doing fine - but many other beginners. My horse Spur was distinguished gentlehorse like no other and an absolute master at riding Kaboose (sic) The UTV off road excursion instructor Mike (and his son) were top notch guys and extremely fun and knowledgeable on the area and all things UTV. This was my favorite activity from my stay. Lastly, Oliver was an excellent communicator and made star gazing such a fun and educational experience. Taylor supplemented with bringing her good vibes.

We had a great time staying here as two families with little kids. The sleeping options were great and the kitchen was phenomenal in terms of being stocked with numerous pots, pans, baking sheets, dishes and bowls to make anything you could want. The setting was beautiful and completely worth the little bit of extra time it took to get to other parks outside of Zion. The hosts responded very quickly with the one question we had and we enjoyed our stay very much. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time here during our trip to visit Zion National Park! Spacious living areas and kitchen made it easy to cook together and hangout after long days hiking outdoors.

The hosts were excellent in helping us when needed. Private location allowed freedom for our kids to play. The nearby resort offered many amenities! The whole cabin could use updating overall, but it is very clean and useable. There isn't a dishwasher. The water pressure is lacking. The dryer isn't great. You MUST have four-wheel drive to stay at this property!!!

Gorgeous home in a remote, peaceful setting. We enjoyed a family wedding weekend in this space with 8 adults. Everyone had comfortable areas to call their own while the public areas were never crowded. We enjoyed cooking in the fabulous kitchen with every implement you can imagine. We consulted the guide Alex and Vanessa created for multiple activities that included something for everyone, and when we wanted to stay at the house, we could sit on the deck and enjoy the peaceful nature surrounding us, or play a game. It was the perfect site for our time together.

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It's about a 30-45' drive into Zion to reach the visitor's center. While you're a little bit further out than folks staying in Springdale, the location is magical and incredibly peaceful. Lots of great space in the home and everything you need to make it feel like home the moment you walk in.

Wonderful home with easy access to the quieter East side of Zion National Park and some spectacular less-traveled trails. The house is very large, with multiple king bedrooms, all with private baths, and an expansive and luxurious, extraordinarily well-stocked kitchen that made cooking together a joy! There are lovely and thoughtful decorations throughout and everything was oh so comfortable and welcoming. The area is quiet, and the deck and hot-tub are spacious. We also had a great time playing badminton on the “beach” volleyball court. Sharon was communicative and helpful. All in all a wonderful time for our family gathering of seven, with plenty of extra room had we had a much larger group! Highly recommend!

Easy check in and clean with beautiful surroundings for a great price.

We had an unforgettable stay! The house was incredibly comfortable and offered breathtaking views in every direction. There were fun hiking trails just minutes away, which made it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. One of our favorite parts was the game room-we spent hours relaxing there. And every evening, we unwound in the hot tub, soaking in the spectacular night sky filled with stars. Truly magical! Zion Ponderosa Ranch nearby was a huge bonus. Their food was fantastic-the pizza especially was absolutely delicious. We also had a blast on a jeep tour and loved the climbing wall. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful place. Super responsive and lots of additional options for activities. The area was private with incredible views of the country, amazing sunsets and stars.

Phenomenal stay and a wonderful way to connect and spend intentional time with my partner. Being an hour away from the national park, we got to see its beauty. But being in a secluded area, we were able to also appreciate the nature for itself. Loved this stay!

We could see see Zion from our door! Aaron gave us great MTB rental recommendations and his crew was great! Would recommend to all our friends and family!

The property was beautiful and peaceful! The bed was comfortable and A/C worked great!! We really enjoyed that it was pet friendly and loved meeting the host’s dog and cat as well. They were a great welcoming committee!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cabin near Zion National Park! It was the perfect home base for exploring Zion and the surrounding canyons. The location was ideal—just about a 30-minute drive into the park, which made it easy for us to beat the early morning crowds and get a head start on the trails. The cabin itself was cozy, well-designed, and full of thoughtful touches. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—just what we needed after a long day of hiking. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into the space, from the stylish decor to the little extras like coffee and snacks that made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zion!

Instructions were easy to follow and really helpful especially because there’s no service. Cabin was exactly as described and expected. Exactly what we needed after a day at Zion.

This was our first time out West. The cabin is so beautiful, very close to the East entrance of Zion. As a bonus, the community is located next to....or attached to....a beautiful camp resort where my kids were able to spend the evenings swimming. It was so perfect to end a day of hiking, and they met friends and played football and baseball every night. This was definitely a hard one to leave! The host is very gracious and easy to get ahold of. Thank you for providing the means for such a memorable trip!

What a pleasure it was to stay in the cottage. Calm and silence, just interrupted by the buzzing sound of hummingbirds passing by to hover at the feeder, and mule deers passing by strolling through the gardens. We loved it! Want to go for a hike in the Dixie forest? That's your trail head right at the cottage. Want to relax afterwards on the veranda breathing fresh pine-scencted air. That is your place. Hiking in Snow Canyon or around Saint George/Washington/Hurricane is close enough to enjoy the silence of Pine Valley. Thanks a lot to Mitzi for the recommendations and suggestions. And don't forget to treat yourself with a pizza at Slice of Veyo and the Veyo pie.

We had a great stay at a beautiful home, it was very clean and luxurious. Our host left us muffins, farm fresh eggs, milk, and there was a really nice coffee bar as well. The stay also included super comfy king sized bed, spacious walk in shower, and really comfy robes. The town was fairly nice, it seemed like an up-and-coming town with a lot of construction and urban development with some nice houses in the area.

Steve's place is excellent. My family and I stayed here because I ran the St. George Marathon and it worked out great. We were under 10 miles from the starting line. While we were here, we also made a few trips into St. George (~40 minute drive), Zion (~1.5 hours), and Snow Canyon (~20 minutes, no the way to St. George), and had a great time exploring everything. Steve's house was comfortable and in a beautiful location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
