After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
