Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Tiree

We had such a great time -- I highly recommend staying here if visiting Oban. The apartment has had a lot of care put into making it feel like a home. The kitchen is fully functional, the beds are comfortable, and we appreciated the washing machine (and dryer, which is rare for an airbnb!). The outside patio has an amazing view of town, the islands to the west and the sunset. Anuschka and Axel are great hosts and provided some starter groceries because of our late arrival on the train and greeted us when we arrived. And the location in town is excellent -- groceries, cafes, restaurants, the bookstore, the green-roof seafood shack and the Oban distillery are all walkable within about 5 minutes. Overall highly recommended.

We absolutely loved the apartment. The view was stunning and the location was perfect. I was also impressed with how well equipped the apartment was. We would go back in a heartbeat.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is perfect when u love nature, sea, sheep and highland cattle. Lots of walk are possible from here. About the castle it’s really a stunning one. Services are at the best with all confort needed … it’s really a jewel and we hope come back here in the future.

Finally an Airbnb that reflects a best in class B&B ! Lynne's place was organized, so clean and so comfortable -- and what made it even better was how thoughtful she was in making her guests feel welcome ! She had continental breakfast available incase one didn't come prepared, and proactively reached out incase we needed any local recommendations or any other help. She is RARE in the Airbnb world -- so if you are visiting Oban, stay at Lynne's !

Loved this space. Right in the center of everything but not near anything loud. Loved being able to walk to everything in town. Also great place to just sit and relax and watch a movie. Would definitely stay here again.

The flat was charming- it was a true home away from home. Robert set us up with fruit and other staples for our stay. The location couldn’t have been better. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Wonderful.

Location was great for accessing anything downtown Oban by foot. Everything was very clean & most anything we needed was provided.

Lovely peaceful location, stunning views. Enclosed garden, perfect for the doggies. Calmac ferry close by for a trip to Mull. We did a a trip to Sanna Beach, with amazing view of the small isles. Nice walks around the estate, friendly and welcoming staff in the farm and gift shop. Keepers cottage is a wonderful, comfortable, well equipped place to stay. 100% would love to stay here again.

Our first visit to Skye and a week made all the better by the property and location. Dorothy was on hand when needed and the property had everything we needed, was really well equipped and had a place for everything. It's at the quieter end of the island, which we liked, but does mean a few more miles to see some of the well known sites. Not an issue, as so many things to see and do on the way north and the scenery never got old. The only small issue for us, was the internet, although it is there, if you need to work while away, or check in with friends/relatives, any video meetings won't work, even some internet browsing, was very slow. Dorothy kindly offered her home and internet connection to use for a client meeting we had, but we re-arranged the meeting, as did not wish to impose on her kind hospitality. Property is 6 miles down a single lane road with passing places that is no issue, as long as you drive safely and navigate the pot holes and sheep. 5 Stars overall.

Christine’s place was perfect for a wonderful week. Immaculate and so welcoming. Allan even called us to let us know the place was ready early so we could enter and get settled in quicker. Everything we could wish for was available. We loved the fire pit with grill and enjoyed BBQs. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Spotless bathrooms and super soft towels. Thoroughly recommend walking to Singing Sands Beach, driving to Sanna Beach, Silver Sands of Morar and Traigh Beach. This is a fantastic place that was recommended by my neighbour, we are very thankful and will be back!

Such a beautiful cottage in a stunning area! We had everything we needed and Seashell Cottage is honestly one of the nicest and most comfortable places I've ever stayed in. Lovely garden too, where we were able to sit when the weather was nice. Some fantastic walks on the doorstep and you are so near the little boat service that goes to Easdale Island. You can walk all the way around the island in about 40mins, a few safe wild swimming spots if you're brave (we weren't...) Annabel was a marvellous host and there are lots of useful suggestions in the cottage of things to do and places to see, some of which we did do, including lunch at Pierhouse, quick trip to Lismore, Oban harbour for fresh seafood, Cruachan Mountain Resort for a bite to eat. You won't struggle for something to see or do, it's an area I will definitely revisit in the future. Thanks so much Annabel! 😊

We had a lovely stay in Oban. The house had great views across the loch and was surrounded by a beautiful gardens. Easy and clear instructions to gain access to the house. The property was very clean and well appointed. Fiona was a perfect host who was very informative and responded quickly to our questions. Very easy to arrange taxis if you wanted a few drinks with your meal in Oban town. I would recommend booking an hour or so ahead of time. Overall a great stay. Rhanna is a lovely home from home, with amazing views! It was full of home comforts & thoughtful little touches. Spotlessly clean with very attentive co-hosts. The location is an easy walk down to the harbour, with several benches to stop off at & enjoy the view. We were blessed with wonderful weather, so spent many days on the nearby beaches. I’d also recommend the walk along the banks of Loch Morar, the scenery is stunning!

Excellent stay, would recommend and use again. Stayed for 8 nights and was home away from home.

This place is amazing, so peaceful and tranquil! The sauna is much better than expected and can get hot enough (90+) to satisfy sauna lovers! We cannot recommend enough as a base for exploring the local area!

A sensational place to stay in the heart of Oban with a view that will make you not want to leave. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The instructions from the host were uncomplicated and ensured a hassle-free stay. Fabulous!

A great location - near the village but tucked up a quiet drive so peaceful. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Michael and Fiona were very welcoming. Beautiful views over the water from most windows tempted us out to the wonderful surrounding area.

Lovely place, more spacious than expected which was a delight.

Very interesting accommodation. The front hall of the big house is a bit bleak. However, the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful views over Loch Fyne and closer the birds in the surrounding trees. Very good seafood at the Starfish in Tarbert and at Skipness seafood cabin just down the coast. We enjoyed exploring the area - the beavers at Knapdale and we cycled back and forth along the length of the Crinan Canal. We had no issues with the peaty local water supply - it is what it is and Wendy flags it up before you stay. It is easy to use bottled water. We would certainly book again- thank you for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Alison’s in Oban. It was obvious in so many ways that she went out of her way to provide us with a fully equipped and comfortable accommodation. The location was ideal, the bed comfortable and the view from the bedroom window, outstanding. Her communication with me was excellent. I highly recommend this property.
