Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Thousand Palms

We had a wonderful stay at Cohost Company’s Airbnb. It was very spacious, had a great outdoor space where everyone enjoyed hanging out (outdoor dining, lounge space, hot tub, grill, etc.), and was very clean and comfortable. The A/C worked great, showers had good pressure and bathrooms were bright, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was also very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend! Will definitely be back :) thanks for a great stay! ❤️

This is our second time at Highrock House. Absolutely love the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. Every amenity is available at the home - no need to leave unless you want to! This is our favorite place to stay in Idyllwild! We will definitely be back.

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had! Casa Angela is a true gem—beautifully designed with impeccable mid-century style and every comfort thoughtfully provided. The house was spotless, stylish, and so well-equipped, and the backyard is a private oasis we didn’t want to leave. The pool, the mountain views, the landscaping—it’s all picture-perfect. Fabrizio is a phenomenal host. From the warm welcome to all the little touches throughout the home, you can tell how much care and pride goes into making this place special. We were three friends looking for a relaxing Palm Springs getaway, and this spot delivered in every way. We slept great, lounged by the pool, and felt completely at home. If we’re back in Palm Springs (and we hope we are soon!), this is where we’ll be staying. Thank you, Fabrizio!

We had a wonderful stay at Palmetto House. It’s a beautiful modern spacious home with great amenities. Bathrooms are pristine and modern and everything is done very thoughtfully. Ryan‘s place was absolutely fabulous. We wish we stayed longer. We will definitely be back highly recommended for a peaceful outing in the high desert.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Cielo for three nights. It was perfect! We had great communication with the hosts. The check in was easy, clear instructions. The guesthouse was very clean. The landscaping in the back yard was beautiful. The pool and spa were great. Spa heats up very quickly. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a bigger shower and enough towels, pool towels also. The kitchen area had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals, breakfast lunch and dinner. The is also a gas Bar-B-que. There is plenty of seating outside by the pool, chairs, lounges, bean bag chairs and a couch. The neighborhood is nice and quite. The backyard is private and all yours to use. The hosts pull down the shades to the main house and we felt we had privacy. We did not see or hear from the hosts unless we texted them. The loved staying there and will go back! Highly recommended for a couple looking for a relaxing couple of days in Palm desert. Thank you Priscilla & Jamir.

Spacious and beautiful house with great amenities. The pool and backyard area was great, lots of lounging space and plenty of room. Casita was gorgeous and we liked the style. Plenty of games, puzzles and activities! Jeffery was responsive, helpful and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

An oasis in the desert is how I'd describe this gem. The lot size and what they've done with it is amazing. I took the wife and our 3 girls, top of mind for them, it felt like home. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and quiet remoteness of the home.

The house is exactly like the pictures! Beautiful space, quiet neighborhood, nice amenities and close to everything we wanted to do in Palm Springs! The host was welcoming and quick to respond to our questions. After a long day of hiking, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub! I'll mention the airport proximity because we weren't expecting to be that close. There was some air traffic noise, but it was a non-issue for us. Overall, great place to stay! If we visit Palm Springs again, would definitely stay here again!

The peaceful and quiet surroundings made it even more relaxing. The home was tastefully decorated with high-quality furnishings, stylish décor, and modern kitchen appliances. Every space—from the living room to the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms—was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The bathroom and kitchen were fully stocked with all the essentials, showing a great level of care and attention to detail. For those planning to cook, the kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, cooking oil, and a variety of seasonings—just bring your own groceries. Our family of four, along with our dog, truly enjoyed this five-star experience. It was a sweet and memorable stay. We had a great couple days during our desert getaway. It felt like Hawaii without the flight ! The kids loved running around on the grass in the morning and we enjoyed many a day and evening at the pools. It really felt like our own little resort ! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook and relax. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space and amenities for all. We would absolutely return !

Beautiful home with lots of space! The perfect home to celebrate a very relaxed and chill bachelorette weekend for my sister. 9 girls total and we all had our own space/area to get ready or relax. The pool was so nice but we loved the jacuzzi. All the lounge chair and umbrellas were nice to have. I visit Palm Springs often and so many times we only have maybe two umbrellas for shade, so the 5 provided are very appreciated! So many outdoor activities and a beautiful living area to wind down at the end of the night. Loved this home and will be planning a trip back! Thank you!!

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful, scenic, and quiet this place was. John was extremely communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had. The directions and instructions were helpful and clear. The home is tucked away from the center of town which made it so relaxing. The home has a woodsy modern home feel to it that is just incredible. The decor and furniture was comfortable and stylish. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The home has everything you could possibly need when visiting Idyllwild. I had the perfect getaway here.

Great place to stay in Palm Desert

This place is really beautiful. Huge. Dream house. GREAT yard and pool. Each bedroom is very nice though all the beds are quite firm/hard (good if that’s your thing). The added guesthouse gives extra privacy. The kitchen is the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I have been in. Communication with host was pretty good. I did ask a question and never heard back but it was largely inconsequential. We had a little hiccup at check in but the host corrected it immediately, which was appreciated. I highly recommend this place. I would stay again for sure.

We loved the beautiful cabin. It was like the photos and plan to come back. We are already imagining another stay and in the winter as well. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable.

I loved Morgan’s beautiful home for my bachelorette get away and it was exactly as she described in the pictures. Super clean, very comfy couch (crate and barrel) and had everything you needed in the kitchen. I absolutely loved the huge kitchen island with the bar stools and her dining table was very spacious. I also enjoyed the open floor plan. There was plenty of towels which we loved. One thing I will say though was that it was lacking trash bags and toilet paper. A minor issue, but it could have made our stay a little more convenient. We still enjoyed the wonderful commodities and beautiful home! Thank you Morgan for letting us stay in your peaceful home. Will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Whiskey Creek cabin. The views from the main floor are fantastic, and it feels so peaceful and private even if is really close to town. We were so lucky to see Deer passing through the back yard. The cabin is so comfortable and have anything we need. And our little dog was so happy to be there with us and chasing the squirrels. What a fabulous home! All the furnishings and appliances were first class. It was so quiet and loved having the pool and jacuzzi right out the back patio door. This was only my second experience renting from AIRBNB and the first was not the best. However, I didn't want that experience to detour me from trying again. If you are looking for fabulous home with a wonderful host...please consider this property. You won't be disappointed

My husband and I go up to Joshua Tree quite often, as he loves to shoot astrophotography. We have staid at many rentals, but we particularly loved Ryan's home. I was all the things- beautiful, very nice/high end furnishings/finishes including the dishes, towels, beds, etc.. The house was very clean, quiet, cozy, and the outside area was also really well done. I often complain to my husband that the yard and pool areas are not finished at some of these rentals but Ryan took the time to really make his home a truly spectacular get away! I even asked him where he bought some of the wood furnishings, becuase I just love the feeling of bringing the outside in. The space felt as if someone was giving you a BIG super comforting hug! Now for Ryan himself, he’s the most responsive, thoughtful and kind person, often your dealing with a rental company and they are simply worker bee’s, but Ryan makes you feel like you have been staying at a friends Airbnb he's really great! TY Ryan!!
