one of the best places to stay if you're primarily targetting Munnar and its surrounding places. The only issue is with the fooding but that's easily available around the place and you can always get it packed on your way back to the place. The hosts are lovely people and just a call away for all your queries. A great experience overall! Would love to come back again!

We had a great stay! It was an extremely easy check-in. The place was clean, and looked exactly like in the photos. We truly enjoyed our stay and if we do visit Kodaikanal again, we will definitely pick this place over other options. :)

Words can’t describe how serene and beautiful the place is. Our caretaker, Mr Pandi sir was more than welcoming and the food was spectacular. Sam and Gobi were a brilliant addition as pets here. Sheba,our host, was extremely polite and gave us the proper instructions beforehand on what to do. The rooms are thoughtfully crafted and spacious. You will run out of places to sit. Definitely visiting again.

This place by the Offbeat crew is exactly as described. The location is the best, there are a few amazing spots around the property such as a natural pool with amazing lighting at night, an incredible balcony perfect for bird watching all times of day and a few stargazing spots at night. The host is more than happy to sort out lunch and dinner as well as planning lovely offbeat days out such as trekking through the jungle or going to secluded waterfalls, completely alone. It really feels like the surroundings are all yours!

Very pleasant weather. Mini Infinity pool was a delight at noon. Local sight seeing places and bungalows were a new and good experience. It's definitely an offbeat destination with a rare view of cardamom plantation and tea plantation on one hill!Would like to comeback for a minimum 3nights stay!

The highlight was definitely the outdoor private pool, it was a major attraction for our group and made our stay even more enjoyable. As a group of 10, we had plenty of space and felt right at home. The caretaker was exceptional, always available, incredibly helpful, and so kind, ensuring we had a hassle-free experience. A peaceful riverside retreat with a stunning view! The flowing river beside the property is easily accessible and adds a calm, refreshing touch. The indoor dining area was perfect for relaxing together, with beautiful views straight into the river. Though we couldn’t use the riverside bank dining area due to rain, the ambiance was still magical. Matheww’s hospitality was outstanding—always helpful and smiling. The food served during our stay was delicious, and the breakfast menu is a must-try, especially with the surreal river view in the background. Jasmine’s clear instructions and follow-ups made the entire experience smooth and well-organized. The place is really beautiful and peaceful, perfect for friends and family trips, very helpful and responsive caretaker. Arranged local food according to our preferences, arranged a jeep for local sightseeing. Overall it was an amazing experience.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful property! The place offers great privacy, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The home is thoughtfully designed and true to the pictures — clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Out of the five bedrooms, two are located on the lower floor and do not have internal access from the main house, so you need to step outside to reach them. This might be a bit inconvenient for elderly guests, especially since there are stairs leading up to the main living area. However, for the rest of us, it added to the charm and resort-like feel of the place. A special shoutout to the hosts for arranging a smooth pickup in their Pajero, which added a nice touch to our arrival. The food prepared during our stay was absolutely delicious and felt homemade — a real highlight of the trip! Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing experience. Would definitely recommend this place for families or groups looking for a serene escape!

The property is impeccable with beautiful and calming view right from your window every morning. The sort of off-roading towards the property makes your stay even better. Our caretaker Laiju was very kind and accommodated everything we wanted. The host Milen was super helpful right from the day we booked this property, he was always available for any query of ours and gave us right guidance on the directions before we got to the property. The place is pet friendly as-well and my dog enjoyed the environment as much as we could. Overall the place is a steal deal.

The place is charming enough to not make you go anywhere else and just chill there. Away from the towns hustle and bustle it provides solace and calmness. Joseph, Jancy and Blessy are the sweetest caretakers.

We had a awesome experience at The Pepper Valley, everything was as per the description. Special thanks to caretakers and cook, they made our stay very pleasant and Happy. Only thing to keep in mind is you have to travel a off road patch of 1.5-2 KM from Chellarcovil Ecotourism Park point. SUVs can go easily there. We even crossed this patch at late night and it was safe. Caretakers arranged for Barbeque and Camp fire, breakfast was complimentary, home chef made very tasty North Indian food too. Stay is very beautiful, rooms were nice and clean, beautiful garden and swing too. Top view of mountain from stay which looks surreal. Overall I went there with my entire family of 8 adults and 2 kids and everyone loved and enjoyed the stay, though a bit secluded we never felt unsafe, because of top notch service and help from the staffs. Rejith shared all the details like map, phone number, tourist places and everything before the visit. Loved Thekkady and Kumily. I recommend to book this stay

Priyanka and Shyam were an amazing host. The stay was beyond our expectations. You don’t even need to go out anywhere to enjoy Kodaikanal, it’s all there! I would visit again and recommend everyone to visit at least once!
