Farmstay holiday rentals in The Great Lakes

We loved our visit to the little house, there were tons of mowed trails to wander and explore and our kids loved running around and looking at all the cars and treasures, the photos don't do it justice. The home was clean and cute and vintage and peaceful. Highly recommend if you need a getaway and like to be outdoors to walk without having to drive somewhere. It was just a short drive to Mackinaw City and the lakeshore as well.

My partner and I stayed at the cabin for the weekend, and could not recommend more! Mark was a great host and made us feel at home.

We had a wonderful, relaxinf weekend ar Jeff and Emily’s Cabin. The cabin itself is cozy and clean. There are huge windows to allow you to look out at the beautiful nature surrounding their farm. We really enjoyed using the firepit and relaxing on the grounds - it is far from a major road and felt very private. The hosts were responsive and introducd themselves, but also made sure to give us privacy and space to relax. I hope we can come back and visit soon!

I've had many airbnb stays, but Jason's place was one of the best of all time. Truly, a near perfect experience for my family (wife and two young kids). The house was clean, stylish, comfortable, thoughtful stocked ... all those things, of course. But there was something magical about it, too, nestled inside the woods of Tryon Farms. Our favorite spot in the house was the screened-in back porch in the morning and evenings *chef's kiss*. Why wouldn't you book this today??

The loft was perfect for what we were looking for - peace, relaxation, and disconnect from the world for a bit. This was a great location for that. This is a loft above a garage located on a country property with beautiful land/views to enjoy. Jordan is very responsive in getting back to you. His father, Hal, greeted us and gave us recommendations on what to do in the area. He was super friendly and helpful. The place had charm and even though it's in the country, there are small towns to visit 10-20 minutes away, where we found a great coffee shop. Johnson Creek Outlet Mall is close and we also spent a day in Madison - only a 40 minute drive. Good place to unwind and unplug!

Nina is such a wonderful host! She let us use her kitchen to make dinner and everything was so organized and clean. Everything she described about her place is completely accurate, it is so beautiful and private. I had a great time walking around the property with my boyfriend and the kitties who roamed around outside kept us great company. Nina is so sweet and inviting, her style and vibrancy is pleasant, I would definitely come back!

This place is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a peace of mind. The birds chirping, the beautiful view, friendly neighborhood and horses, I loved everything about my stay. Not to mention m, the bed felt like you’re sleeping on clouds and that view 😍😍 10/10! I honestly wasn’t expecting all of this but I HAVE to go back! Book that room !! You won’t regret it ! Just make sure you bring snacks and food because it’s not a lot of restaurants open past a certain time.

We had a great stay at David's cabin. We really enjoyed the beautiful back yard and spending time on the deck. Would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Cherie’s place! We were really looking forward to a nice quiet / private stay and it did not disappoint! We loved feeding the goats, taking the canoe out on the river, walking around in the woods, and of course chilling in the hot tub. Everything was very high quality, clean, and easy to use. We would def recommend this place and we will be coming back again in the future! 10/10!

Zoran was a terrific host who communicated well and provided lovely breakfasts. The accommodation was spotless and very well organized. Everything was provided for a seamless, relaxing stay. Great location! Close to St. David’s, Queenston and Niagara on the Lake. We really enjoyed bike riding from this location.

We really enjoyed this place! It was nice to be able to relax here each evening, just sitting on the deck or by the fire pit. The house was nice and the beds were comfortable. We hope we can stay here again sometime!

Our stay at the Schoolhouse was perfect! Ingrid is an incredible Airbnb host. She's invested and proactive in making your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The Schoolhouse is immaculate and well-designed, but Ingrid also pays close attention to smaller details that enhance your stay. We loved the freshly baked bread, farm-fresh eggs, and chopped wood (for the outdoor firepit). She also provided us with endless recommendations for local restaurants and hiking trails, all within short driving distance. If you're looking for a cozy and intimate little getaway, we highly recommend it! Inside the Airbnb, you'll find loads of blankets, Netflix, a fully functional kitchen, board games, and an electric fireplace. Outside, it's located on a fully functional farm, where you can enjoy a cozy firepit and make friends with some adorable farm animals. Everything about our stay was smooth and seamless too. Immediate first impressions I LOVE IT! It gives all the vibes! Let’s see how the rest of the stay goes… not one complaint yet even allowed a hour early check in! A few days later and I must say it has been exceptional. The place was very nice and clean, private, safe and close to a lot of tourist attractions. Any questions we had was answered within minutes! And the jacuzzi was a plus ! We loved it. Thank you for having us I would highly recommend it to anyone. Only thing to note is the occasional bugs here and there but that was expected !

This was the perfect place to get away to unplug and relax. The location is very private and peaceful. The owners have maintained the yard nicely to make for a beautiful view of the Rock River. It has the perfect table to sit around and play cards on the porch. The beds were comfortable and clean. The firepit made for wonderful nights around the fire with plenty of firewood for us to use. I am very pleased with our stay here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

This was my and my husband's first time in Northern Michigan so we wanted to make sure we stayed somewhere that was comfortable and nice. I am pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness and Chris's aframe was probably one of the most clean Airbnbs I've stayed in. I appreciated all of the little touches and amenities that, to me, can make a big difference (a sound machine! fans! extra pillows and blankets! mirrors! hangers! somewhere to put your luggage!). I would definitely recommend this place! I think it would be even cozier in the fall.

Annie the A Frame was an absolutely amazing experience. It was such a quiet, relaxing weekend with my dog, completely unplugged. Literally everything about the listing was exactly the same as it was in person. Jess gave perfect instructions on how to find the place, how to get inside, etc. The beds were so comfortable, the place was SO cute, and the yard was private and so nice. The fire pit was my favourite part, I wanted to stay out all night. I took my dog for an adventure on the trail recommended by Jess as well. Literally 0 phone service but my satellite connection was strong enough to be able to send a text and check in at home once in a while. I would definitely stay here again.

Aaron's cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean and stocked pretty well. The property itself was serene and waking up to turtles on the beach, deer running around the water was perfect! walked the trails, pet and visited the horses. Exactly what we needed for a weekend! Already planning on going again next year!

We had the best time at Simone’s place! The view of the lake was STUNNING. We had a private deck and fire pit and the house itself was clean, well stocked, and beautiful. Simone thought of every little detail when creating this space, and it really showed! We were a quick drive from the main Grand Marais town center and a few miles down the road from gorgeous hikes. Would absolutely recommend this Airbnb! Can’t wait to stay again!

My son and I had a fantastic and serene stay. It was the perfect locale to enjoy the surrounding area. Petoskey, Mackinac island and the state parks were so close, not to mention Lake Michigan beaches everywhere. It’s easy to plan fully day activities! We even found a good fishing lake with Peters help and really enjoyed our stay! Thanks again :)

This place really is peaceful and private. My partner and I booked this cabin for a weekend to just get away from the bustle of the city and we were not disappointed. This place had an amazing view overlooking Lake Erie on the bluffs and was tucked away deep in the trees beyond some farmlands south west of London. We definitely want to stay here again sometime. What a lovely, quiet place to spend time! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s comfy, so quiet, and surprisingly spacious. We sat outside and listened to the birds for several hours.
