Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Test Valley District

This was a lovely place to stay in the nice village of Shrewton and close to the grocery. Great if you have a vehicle. Close to Stonehenge. Our father-in-law broke his foot the day before coming and thankfully was able to stay on a fold out in living room as he would not have been able to navigate the stairs. The hot tub was delightful to soak in after a long flight.

What can I say…the house was just perfect for our stay. Beautifully appointed, clean and luxurious. What a treat to have a coffee in the sunshine in the mornings, overlooking the lake. Cotswold Water Park Retreats were amazing. Very easy to book paddle boards in advance, great communication and the hot tub was checked at least twice while we were there. It’s like everything was thought of. It made it so easy for me and my family to focus on spending time together. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here to anyone and I would love to come back.

Kelli rescued us last minute when the place we had booked left a lot to be desired. My booking enquiry was responded to immediately and the house lived up to all expectations the photos give. Beautiful decor, friendly hosts, all amenities you could ask for, lovely location, comfy beds, perfect hot tub and so much more. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it. Made a great location for our girls weekend but would equally be suitable for a family stay.

Beautiful, secluded weekend getaway! Saw lots of wildlife within the fields and the accommodation was lovely. Outside bath was extra special.

This was an amazing house for a family get together and perfectly located on between us in Sussex and other family from Devon. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome basket full of treats. My 4yr granddaughter loved the bedroom with the steps, slide and fairy lights. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. With several small children in our party, we also took advantage of the washing machine and tumble dryer. The garden was brilliant and our grandchildren absolutely loved the play house and games room. The hot tub really came into it's own on a warm day with during torrential rain. The host Catherine was super helpful both before our stay answering a few queries and on check on day itself. I would highly recommend the house.

We spent a lovely long weekend in the house catching up with friends. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, and the room with twin beds was perfect for our 7 year olds. There is a patch of grass to play on, but by where you park the cars, not next to the house. Wasn’t a problem for us as we went out during the day, but in case that’s a necessity for you.

You must stay here! It was beautiful. Clean, tidy, everything you needed. The host and house manager went above and beyond for us. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a really lovely weekend stay at The Bolt Hole with our two boys and dogs. The house is in a great spot with lots of walks and things to do nearby. The garden is so beautifully kept, however, that it was hard to tear ourselves away! Claire and Buster were very accommodating and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. The whole estate was fantastic - thank you

Lorraine was fantastic from the outset. We had a last minute opportunity to get away for a couple of nights and Lorraine was extremely accommodating to allow it to happen. The house was perfect and the Lower Mill Estate is a great location for families to enjoy.

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

The perfect stay for a family of 6 adults, a toddler, and a dog! We had such a beautiful stay, (just wish we had had better weather!). The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Thanks so much again!

We had a wonderful time at this house on the Lower Mill Estate. Everything was as described. It was a very well-equipped house with everything we needed for our stay with our 10 month old. Our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub and got it sorted ASAP. We would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back again.

Beautiful place, right on the lake, with spa facilities just across the way, about 200 steps away. Spacious enough to host - we had a private chef come on one night and we facilitated family-friendly activities from the living area. Hot tub was super easy to turn on, and there were plenty of board games. Jan communicated well and shared lots of local recommendations and helpful tips. Things were labeled well throughout the place so we never had to think. I have fed back privately some minor issues privately, but on the whole, we had a fabulous stay in this spacious beautiful home in the seat of nature. Feeling thoroughly relaxed after our 3-night stay.

Really lovely location. We were blessed with a heatwave so it was really nice to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings, and in the cooler air of evening the hot-tub was fantastic! The cabin is very thoughtfully done and our hosts really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They were really friendly and even came up with a birthday banner for my partner! Nice treats were there to welcome us too - Prosecco, chocolate and amazing homemade strawberry jam! We recommend! (The cabin, and the jam too!)

We had a lovely 3 days here celebrating my partners 30th birthday with our best friend, everything was so cosy. We loved sitting outside hearing nature in the evenings and enjoying the hot tub. We don’t live too far away so will most likely book again when we feel like we need a few days to getaway!

My daughter and I booked this as somewhere to spend precious quality time together away from it all and the location didn’t disappoint-it’s a little slice of tranquility set in the most beautiful surroundings. The cabin had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and Richard was a brilliant host-from before our arrival in the morning when he asked if we needed anything beforehand, to giving clear instructions on how to find the place to then being on hand to show us round and give us some great local insight on places to go, eat and to see. We will definitely be back-it was just perfect-thank you

i Booked for a night away with my partner, was everything you could of imagined! The Hot tub was obviously the highlight of the night away with the colour changing lights and bluetooth speakers. Carly was a wonderful host, answered any questions i could of had ( i messaged and asked for more towels, which was kindly brought down to me) i couldn’t of asked for a more private, peaceful and uninterrupted night away! The bed was extremely comfortable! The garden was just so beautiful, I could very much tell it was a well taken care of space as soon as you entered. With greeting signs and instructions on how to work the blinds and AC, Netflix was provided also on the tv which was a huge plus for watching a film in the evening. Finding the house was also very easy if you obviously read the instructions Carly has provided you with when you book. Couldn’t wait to come back within 10 minutes of getting there and that thought still hasn’t changed! 100/10 experience!!

Fantastic little cabin with nice hot tub, spotlessly clean and peaceful. All the additional amenities made such a difference. Only recommendation would be don't bring the keys into the bathroom it locks automatically and you can get stuck outside if you leave them in there! Fortunately, Annie came to the rescue first thing in the morning and we really enjoyed out stay. Thanks very much :)

The hut was beautiful and the hot tub a thankful addition. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The use of space in the hut is quirky and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed including some small essentials. The bed was really comfy and the bedding was lovely and fresh. The bathroom was really super clean and had towels and loo roll. The immediate surroundings were beautiful. I loved sitting on the decking with swans walking past and a gorgeous Goose family on the lake. Or chilling in the hot tub while the man fished. Plenty of pubs and restaurants around or Dominos Deliver! Very relaxing break.

Lovely spot for a weekend getaway, highly recommend for a chilled weekend away from the hustle and bustle - multiple pub / restaurants within a walking / taxi distance if you’re looking to drink. The added benefit of a gas BBQ & hottub means you could cook a meal & relax at the cabin without really needing to go anywhere. Would happily stay again.
