Frankie and Jonathan kept up informed throughout the build up to our stay. Really friendly hosts you can have a chat with. Frankie came to make sure we had everything we needed on arrival and gave us the lay of the land. The cabin and it's location was just what we wanted for this little break. A beautiful part of the country, so peaceful and quiet. Great touches inside the cabin giving the place a special feel. We would happily come again for a few days. Many thanks Darren and Sallie

Great little cabin with bags of character- lovely little hotub too. although we didn't get the chance there are a few little country pubs dotted around and apart from Richards house over the fence from the cabin, nothing but green fields. Richard was also a great host always checking to see if we needed any supplied while he was out.

We had a lovely stay from the moment we arrived till the minute we reluctantly left. The family at the farm were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We loved seeing the animals and learning all about the farm. It’s very peaceful and set in a beautiful surrounding and the accomodation was great. Beds were comfortable, the shower was fab and the hot tub very nice for an early morning and evening dip! We will definitely return ….

Annie and Paul were such lovely hosts! We had an amazing time staying at the garden hideaway! The place was so clean and welcoming, and they were so hospitable! They provided robes and slippers for the hot tub, breakfast in the morning, outdoor candles and disposable BBQ - They even let us borrow some ketchup for our burgers :) whatever you need, they’ve got it covered. And the hot tub was the best! Thanks so much!

My boyfriend & I stayed here for three nights to celebrate his birthday. Perfect little escape - serene surroundings & amenities like the hot tub are naturally, very relaxing. The other five cabins are far enough away to give you privacy, without leaving you feeling completely alone. We used the Lansdown P&R (25min drive away) to take a day trip into Bath. The only thing guests should note there is no oven, so bear this in mind when planning self-catering. However, the hob & microwave should be adequate for most cooking needs. Could not fault this stay, Rachael was responsive & warm and provided everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Both the hot tub and cabin itself were spotlessly clean. The local swans were very interested in our morning fry-up, which provided some good entertainment! We left wishing we’d booked another night - would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at the Woodpecker lodge, it was very peaceful had all the required amenities to keep us going for the weekend and I would highly recommend staying here. We fished the lake and had great success with 10+ fish out a day with the biggest being a 13lb common, all fish were in great condition and were great fighters! All in a fantastic stay and will certainly be back!

What a gorgeous place! Sara you have made a really beautiful, quaint, peaceful retreat here. Beautifully decorated and well equipped riverside cabin. Easy to find, stunning surroundings and wildlife aplenty. The fact that there is no TV, no radio, no wifi and no phone reception is utter BLISS! If you want a digital detox, this is your place. We didn't see a single person for 2 whole days. Sara's instructions were friendly, easy to follow and she even left flowers and prosecco which is a lovely touch. Sara really has thought of everything with Pogle's cabin. Watching the fire as the sun sets, listening to the bird song and running water of the stream is a dream. So nice Sara is happy to have dogs stay here too, they absolutely loved their time here. The walks around the field and across the stream are so pretty and we often saw deer fleeting across. Thank you so much for a much needed weekend of R&R! So happy we have found this little slice of heaven, we will definitely be back.

Have just spent a wonderfully relaxing stay at Woodyhyde Lodge with my husband and dog. Perfect place to enjoy the Dorset countryside. The lodge was pristine and spacious with all the comforts of home. We had variable weather so at times chose to stay in and chill until the rain stopped. The garden was completely safe for our Cavapoo, Lola, which gave us peace of mind. Emma was on hand with suggestions of walks and pubs with great food. The shop at the campsite was open for forgotten milk and breakfast. We did lots of exploring in Corfe Castle, Studland and villages around. Would recommend the Square and Compass atWorth Matravers for pasties and The Fox in Corfe Castle for its feathered beef!

The Cabin was in a beautiful setting with a modern, quality feel about it. On occasion we could see deer in the nearby field as we sat on the sofa. A lovely touch was the hand cream and other accessories which were provided to make our holiday feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place is truly amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. It was the perfect two night getaway for my husband and I plus our two little dogs who loved all the local walks and being able to run free around the cabin. Anna left us loads of goodies and made sure to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The weather was great so we managed to enjoy a bbq and had marshmallows by the fire pit. The bed (a king) was incredibly comfy and the dogs even got their own bed and treats too. The cabin itself is super sturdy and well build and finished to an incredibly high standard and lots of nice little touches. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.....for the beautiful tranquil space and setting and for the super-kind and welcoming hosts. This is a little paradise that provides all the comforts of home and with some beautiful walks on the doorstep. Janie and Paul are incredibly hospitable and I cannot thank them enough for making my stay such a relaxed, comfortable and peaceful one as I was in transition during a house move.

We had a lovely stay in the Arle hut. It's a beautiful little shepherd's hut in a private corner of a meadow, next to a babbling chalk stream, near a weir. The birdsong was wonderful and it was extremely relaxing. The facilities were lovely, with a super comfortable bed and all we needed for cooking etc. Sarah and David were both extremely helpful and responsive. We will definitely be coming again.

Vanessa was there to meet us on arrival, and was really welcoming. The driveway is tight, as she mentions in the listing, but i had no problems getting in or out in my car. The cabin was spotless, and beds were super comfortable. Even a bottle of wine in the fridge which was very welcome! Lovely secure garden which meant my dog was very happy as he didnt have to be tethered anywhere! It really is the perfect place to rest and reset. We will definitely return

We had a peaceful comfortable stay here and we would definitely recommend it to others. The accommodation has a large space set on a ground floor. My family loved it and we could take our dog. Although the accommodation was remote which was great it was only a few minutes away from amenities. Well worth the stay, would like to go again but stay longer. Thank you Antonia. xx

Julie was fantastic from initial contact. She was immediately responsive and accommodating. We’d prearranged a late checkin, and arrived to a lovely considerate welcome package including bread, milk and jams. Julie’s place was lovely, cosy and quiet. It had everything we could need, and access to it was safe, simple and private. Julie had lots of local recommendations for us when asked, which was appreciated. She was also keen to listen to our experiences to pass on to future guests. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed using our base to explore all the west coast had to offer. We enjoyed that the accomodation displayed some of Julie’s own artwork- we were even lucky enough to arrive during an artists open studio weekend, so had the pleasure of seeing Julie’s studio - an added bonus.

I had a lovely stay. The place is spacious, clean and comfortable, with big modern bathroom, large comfortable bed and beautiful garden outside. I would strongly recommend and I would definitely stay again in the Pod. Also, hosts were friendly and responsive.

Stunning location and just what we needed to totally get away from things. Small but perfect accommodation and the most amazing views.

We had a lovely stay and everything was perfect. Della was very friendly and helpful. It is beautifully quiet and really does have a super view. We were very comfortable and felt at home....it was a great place to stay for us to meet up with our daughter and have some great walks in the forest. Della's fuss-free check in and out was very welcome and our stay was a real holiday.

Edd’s cabin is pure off grid luxury! If you need to get away from the rat race - this cabin certainly promises quiet, calm & not another sole in sight! Phone signal was sporadic which surprisingly we enjoyed & embraced, allowing us to connect around the fire pit enjoying the wine that Edd had left at the cabin for us on arrival!

This was an amazing stay the cabin was simply amazing , everything flowed from one room to another the bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow it was that comfortable, the bed linen was crsip and spotless we were both just taken back by it every little thing had been thought off the best we have sayed in and central to visit lots of places 😀

We had a perfect weekend at Katie's place in Sussex! The Coop is beautifully furnished inside (we slept incredibly well in the super comfy bed!) and set within an idyllic potager garden, with a lovely private patio outside the front of the cabin where we enjoyed a glass of wine or two while the sun went down. The local surroundings of Milland are perfectly picturesque, with the local pub and village shop/cafe an easy walk away - and lots to do in the surrounding villages and towns of Midhurst, Petworth and beyond (car is recommended for flexibility in getting around). We didn't get to meet Katie during our stay, but she was super helpful and flexible, sending us local tips, and accommodating a late check-out which was a great bonus. We loved the welcome treats on our arrival too. We'd love to return some time in the future. Thanks so much for having us, Holly and Phill

Amazing stay at the Little Berri! A lovely weekend, we were lucky with the weather and went on a few recommended walks nearby, including a pub lunch. The cabin was just as described, just as described/pictured and amazing coffee!! Coffee bed and more spacious than we thought it would be. Thank you so much, would 100% recommend :)
