We are 10 Miles north of Leadville, 1 mile from Ski Cooper, 8 miles from Red Cliff, 20 miles from Vail. Our fully equipped 900 sq ft. solar powered cabin is very cozy with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. We have hiking and biking access to the Colorado trail from the cabin in the summer, skiing right out the door in the winter. We have space for 2 adults & families with 2 adults & 1-2 kids. It was a sweet tiny home- we loved it and it worked perfectly for our overnight stay. It is in a neighborhood of RVs and other tiny homes, but it was quiet and cozy and there is a nice spot at the back to sit at a table surrounded by trees.

Jessica’s place was perfect for our family, and maybe the most responsive/helpful host we’ve had so far. The house is unique and stands out from other typical mountain cabins. Tons of natural light and beautiful design, and wonderful amenities like the pizza oven and sauna. Can’t recommend the cabin or Jessica as host any higher!

We enjoyed Jenifer’s place so much - the clean and relaxing house, the beautiful scenery, and all the wildlife we saw, including the moose at sunrise! It’s one of our favorite and most memorable airbnb’s we’ve staid at. If you’re looking for a place to relax or a place around ample outdoor activities, this is the place to go. We particularly enjoyed fishing in nearby areas as well as unwinding at the house and in the hot tub. Jenifer is responsive and a joy to chat with! Highly recommend.

We stayed at Buckeye's Cabin for a long weekend in early March. We were warm (thanks to the heater and wood-burning stove) and in close proximity to Leadville. The cabin is a time capsule to the historic west and is as-advertised! All three guests were comfortable. Though we didn't use the kitchen, it has authentic antique charm which is worth considering if you plan to cook. There are heavy-duty window coverings on all windows, but Buckeye's Cabin is situated on Highway 91 so expect mild traffic noise. Overall, we had a 5-star stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a "glamping" experience, any time of year, near Leadville!

If you are looking for a beautiful view, look no further! The pictures don’t do it justice. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need. Comfortable furniture and beds are a plus. We had everything we needed for relaxing stay. We were taking this trip to celebrate retirement, and we were very happy with our stay. It’s worth every penny! Kirk was easy to communicate with. We would definitely go back!!
