My family and myself enjoyed our stay, the home was very wheelchair accessible which was our number 1 must have. The home is beautiful and spacious, very clean. The locals are friendly but closer to the pier there’s definitely some homeless people although we felt safe the entire time since there’s a police station right under the pier. Definitely exactly as pictured, walking the Strand was our favorite activity during the morning, noon and night. The fire pit upfront was nice for us to make s’mores, the grill outback we used and got the job done but seems like it can use some maintenance since the beach elements seem to be making it fall apart. We did have one small pet with us, which we were aware of the beach rules regarding dogs before hand. There’s still plenty of dogs around just be aware that dogs are not allowed on the sand or the boardwalk. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this location again.

We had a great time staying here! The unit was separate from the rest of the house and felt very private. The backyard was absolutely beautiful, and there was plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Only thing I would mention, is that if you intend on walking to the beach it isn’t very convenient as you have to walk a little ways down to the intersection to cross the train tracks. Driving to the beaches was very convenient and parking was never an issue for us!

5-star Airbnb and host, parking/entry was simple and easy, Renee is 100% responsive, and it’s clear this host cares that you have a great stay. The place is as described, very clean, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds with THE SOFTEST SHEETS/PILLOWCASES EVER, and nice extra touches. Bright and light, quiet at night, 1.5 bathrooms, and close to beach and coastal towns.

Bonnie and Ken were super accommodating. We needed to work out some details for the check in due to my flight and there were no issues. Bonnie and Ken were so kind. The place was beautiful and had all the accommodations needed for my 5 day stay. Would highly recommend.

Our third extended stay with Gloria and Mari. Great hosts and excellent location - less than two blocks from the beach and easy walk to the Village. Lovely area, friendly folks with lots of fun shops, restaurants, or just walking on the beach. Apartment was great for the two of us, everything you need, clean and comfy. New improvements made during the last three years are nice and off-street parking is a bonus. Our winter home for sure!

Simply superb! A clean, beautiful, and warm space. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated each of us having a separate fluffy blanket. The Internet was stable and fast. Everything was spotlessly clean. The flower superblooms can be seen 1 hour 15 min to the north (Diamond Valley Lake) or 1 hour 15 min to the south (Anza Borrego State Park -- check the state park website for superbloom locations). While we were driving out from here in the morning, we saw a California condor flying close to the road. These are rare, critically endangered birds and we were very lucky to have spotted one. Tarja was also great with communications.

Judy’s place was great! Good size and the space was nice with two outdoor hangout areas. Stocked with everything you need!The location was walkable with the beach and the shops being so close.

Amazing place! The home is clean and spacious. Location is amazing. Our family was blown away when we arrived and so sad to leave when our trip was over. We will definitely be back !

Todd is a class act host and the grounds feel like paradise. Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful retreat with gorgeous panoramic views, hot tub, 5 star service, and a state of the art fully-equipped kitchen. Todd gave me a tour of the entire 5 acre property and all its gorgeous gardens and views. Looking forward to staying again!

Wonderfully priced, looked and felt very comfortable and clean. Loved how easy it was to access. Host was friendly helpful and attentive. Yes there is a dog in the entrance but as advertised the dog was very sweet friendly, quiet, and fluffy. Would love to revisit :) also enjoyed the complimentary water and popcorn. Bed was extremely comfy.

Stanley was the best host! He was very accommodating for our trip and quick to respond! Will most definitely use Stanley for our next trip!

The home was extremely clean and welcoming. We enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the morning and wine at the fire table out front during the evening. Beautifully set on a hill with panoramic views and surrounded by lovely plants. Quiet and peaceful all day and evening. Thank you for the fresh eggs and wonderful stay!

it was very cozy place to stay

High quality amenities and great space. In order to get into the parking garage, you need a small remote that is in the condo. The listing mentions this but keep in mind that you will need to find street parking first so you can enter the condo to grab the key before settling into the garage. Overall, really nice place with beautiful surroundings.

Our stay at this beautiful oceanfront Airbnb was truly magical! Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset each evening was an unforgettable experience. The place was spotless, cozy, and filled with charm—exactly what we were hoping for. David was a wonderful host—kind, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Just a small heads-up: if you’re driving a larger truck like a Dodge Ram, the garage height might be a bit snug, so street parking is a better option. But honestly, that was such a tiny thing compared to how amazing everything else was. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this peaceful, romantic escape by the sea. Just the perfect spot for our trip!! We truly enjoyed our stay, everything was beautiful and people were so so nice!! We really enjoyed the hottub and the pool, it wasn’t busy at all. The location was perfect for us considering we didn’t have a car so we walked everywhere. So close to the beach and to the harbour. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat!!

we have stayed here twice and will stay again. they were doing some construction on the building we were staying in but workers were considerate on time not to start too early or work too late. always peaceful and beach close by. we have stayed at many other places this is by far our favorite
