Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tellico Plains

This cabin is exactly as described. Private and peaceful. Easy to find GPS took us right to it. Easy entry/exit lock. Very comfy bed ! The road could scare some drivers. It didn’t bother us being from WV. But if curvy back roads scare you at night. This is not for you. We had to call Michael one night. The fire alarm randomly went off he was 100% responsive and took care of it immediately. My ONLY complaint is no ceiling fan in the bedroom. My husband and I are both hot sleepers. However he does have a box fan in the cabin that we used. Our first night we seen a mamma bear and 3 cubs. Second night a coyote. Third and fourth night a bunch of bunny rabbits. I loved this cabin. Out in the mountains with no one around to bother you. You can sit on the porch and actually hear the leaves moving in the wind! Also while siting outside we were able to hear cows mooing! There is a small farm down the hill. We loved listing to the animals in the mornings!

Wow, what a beautiful Cabin. Our family of 4 w/pups really enjoyed ourselves. The home was well stocked, comfortable beds, well a loaded kitchen. Beautiful decks to enjoy the nature in comfort. The decor inside is fun! Now, the property! It's its own adventure. Great fishing, and a relaxing vibe. We saw several deer while visiting. We hope to make it back! Sean, and Deb are very knowledgeable, and quick to respond with any questions!

super helpful when we were trying to find it. host was worried gps would send us the wrong way and gave step by step directions. thankfully, our gps worked out fine because we came in from the opposite side of the mountain, but his directions were on point coming from the other side. beautiful view. nice and clean. within 20 min from most anything you could want to do.

An unforgettable experience, everything was beautiful, waking up in the morning and seeing the deer around the cabin, the sunsets on the balcony, in short, our experience was magical, Amy was very attentive and explained everything in detail, no problems in the cabin, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were very comfortable with everything ready, I definitely want to come back! Thank you Amy !

We had a wonderful time at David's cabin. This was the 5th time we have stayed in the Pigeon Forge area and this was the best cabin we have stayed in. Very clean, absolute gorgeous views and private. David was a great host. He was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure things were going well. The movie projector and games were a hit with our teenage son. We would definitely stay at his cabin again.

This is our 3rd time staying at Simple Pleasures! We love it so much we brought my sister and brother-in-law to experience it as well! The cabin has the most stunning views! It is perfectly described and matches the listing! Tom and Alison are great hosts! Always responsive. They always allow for a flexible check in as well! The cabin feels very homey and has great amenities. Perfect space for two couples! We love it and hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing stay celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday! The hot tub was a highlight, perfect for relaxing while taking in the stunning views. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking a breeze. We really enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery. Such a perfect and private place to celebrate my 30th birthday with my loved ones. The home has a great layout for a girls trip and so many sweet spots to hang out on the porch. The location is also amazing for nature adventures!

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

this place is amazing. would definitely stay again. a little tricky to find the private driveway but once you get there it's super. it's a hop and skip away from all the great roads including the Tail of the Dragon which is just so good.

this is our second time staying at Edgewater. we love this place. it sits right on the river (fighting town creek) and the temp and sounds flow right into the master bedroom.. Terry is a super gracious host that will work with you in any situation... we have referred this cabin to many and we will be back!!!

Lenore's home was perfect for our stay! The home was clean, inviting, and well-equipped. Access was easy on non-steep, mostly paved roads. We had to bring two vehicles and had plenty of parking for both. I worked from the home and found the Internet to be strong enough for my needs (which hasn't always been the case in rental homes). Lenore herself checked in periodically to see if we needed anything and was friendly and welcoming. We would stay at Lenore's home again!

Charming home with plenty of space to explore and relax outside. We loved being able to walk down to the creek and picnic down there. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. Hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful to find great local stops. Perfect home base to come home to after long days of hiking.

The gardens were incredible and the surrounding area was so beautiful I couldn't get over it. Mountains, creeks, horses, sheep, donkeys. Beautiful trees. Birds singing all the time. Ferns everywhere. Loved Richard and Raymond! Their taste is impeccable. They were kind and attentive. Would love to be their next door neighbor.

Absolutely stunning! It’s well kept and the view is breathtaking, black bears show up regularly (don’t worry they’re friendly). There’s a game room and toddler stuff as well. 8 people can sleep comfortably. FYI this is in the mountains so the road is not for rookies. 4x4 recommended.

This was my third stay at Glimpse of Heaven, and it most certainly won’t be my last. The name truly says it all. The view is absolutely unmatched. One of my favorite things about this cabin is its location. It’s quiet and serene, far removed from the crowds near Gatlinburg but still just a short drive away if you want to explore the area. It’s also perfectly situated near Cades Cove and the Foothills Parkway, which makes it ideal for scenic drives. The cabin itself is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Shirley, the host, is always quick to respond. She makes every stay easy and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Glimpse of Heaven more highly—it’s become my go-to escape in the Smokies.

Wonderful Family-Friendly Stay! We had such a great experience at The Higher the Hair 2BR Condo! The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for a family stay — especially with a toddler. It felt safe, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight of the trip? We actually saw a bear right in the parking lot! Such a cool (and safe) experience that made our mountain getaway even more memorable. The condo has a beautiful view facing the park and is in a peaceful, convenient location close to everything in Gatlinburg. Highly recommend this spot for families — we’d definitely stay again!

We visited for 3 nights and had a nice time! The cabin is a short drive to the main road with lots of restaurants and very easy to get to hiking trails too. The WiFi also worked really well in the cabin during our stay. Our host was always very responsive and helpful as well!
