Hidden Holiday Cottage

VickiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
An absolute gem!! My adult daughter and her hiking friend stayed here for 4 nights whilst hiking in the Nelson Lake area. They absolutely loved it. It was so cosy and lots of room for the 2 of them. So close to hiking areas, easy parking, easy to find. Washing machine was a bonus. Rachel and David could not have been more accommodating prior to booking, during booking and after booking. Very responsive. Julie and her friend can't thank you enough Rachel and David for their stay in your beautiful cottage. Vicki

The Pines Guesthouse - new re-list

SamuelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Stu’s guesthouse was a lovely getaway in New Zealand! Close to Queenstown, ZQN airport, and to many outdoor activities. Very peaceful and private, soft linens, and felt right at home. It’s clear that this is not a cookie cutter Airbnb, but a real guesthouse, and it shows in the fit and finish of the property, and Stu’s helpful and kind approach to hosting. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Rustic Cabin

SallyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Loved our stay. It is all it says on the box and more. So peaceful, loved the Kererū flying around. The fire was what drew us to this cabin. Great on a cold night, so cosy. Lovely easy walk nearby at Hay's Reserve.

Your own Eco friendly bedroom + lounge unit

Shaun and Vanessa’s b&b was exactly what we were looking for. My fiancé and I were visiting from Australia and were staying in a new b&b every night for our week holiday. Shaun and Vanessa’s place was the perfect place to wind down and had the most incredible views we had seen since arriving in NZ. We were unable to experience the spa as we had booked the room quite late but the overall experience we had with Shaun upon arriving, the spotless room with a bed so warm we had to sleep with a window open to let in the night breeze and the breathtaking views, this will be a regular place that we stay at for our future visits to New Zealand. Shaun had also suggested that we take a mini road trip to Lake Tekapo. We stopped on the way and got to see snow for the very first time and experienced the Lake Tekapo hot springs which was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Shaun and Vanessa for an incredible experience and making this our must stay place when we visit your beautiful country again.

Eco-friendly log cabin 30 minutes from St Arnaud

SimoneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Such a beautiful spot! The cabin is simple but beautifully done. Loved the walks the owners have marked out and the friendly bird life. There’s some pretty frisky sandflies down by the river but they weren’t too much of a hassle up by the cabin itself. I actually did end up having cell coverage, albeit limited, but everything’s otherwise off the grid which was nice and helped disconnect from work. I got lucky and had gloriously sunny days, so no troubles with the solar hot water. Great stay! Could’ve happily stayed another day, which the owners have noted is a common piece of feedback they get and I can see why.

Copper Beech Cottage

Was a lovely get away. Has a brazier for cold clear nights, the spa was close by but I personally felt a little awkward to use it with how close to the main lounge/deck it was. Bed was very comfortable which I appreciate.

Firkins Retreat - Picton

MollyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Firkins Retreat was a home away from home. This place was just a dream to stay at. The view was incredible. It felt very secluded and private with bush land and plants all around. The little touches really made it for myself and my partner, including kitchen amenities we don't have whilst travelling around, the hot spa, washing machine etc. We feel that everything was thought of for travellers, and more. The bed was our best sleep whilst travelling for sure. Brad was amazing with communication, very quick and clear and the place had instructions everywhere which was so helpful. This place was incredibly comfortable and warm and we would come back for sure.

We had a lovely stay at the Miners Hut. It was the perfect setup with the kitchen to make meals, private outdoor space to relax after a day out on the trails, with the added bonus of the hot tub. The Hut was warm, cozy, spacious and well designed. Claire is great host and easy to communicate with.

Little Walnut

An absolutely wonderful farm cottage—it has everything you need! I had such a lovely stay here 😽. Angela even left sheep feed so I could feed the adorable sheeps. I also got to see chickens, a cat, and cows. Highly recommended for animal lovers! Plus, the electric blanket on the bed made me feel so cozy and happy.

Machi and Roger are like relatives that will take care of your every needs. The made sure everything is as per your needs and even made sure that the units is tocked with tea, milk, drinks, biscuits and even our laundry. Its absolutely wonderful to stay in Machi and Roger's little abode and would stay here again. The place is super accessible and of course best to with a rent car. Its around 15 - 20 mins drive to Christchurch Central area but super near airport and out of town areas. Me and my fiancee loves it and would highly recommend others.

Tiny Hideaway with the most AMAZING view!!

TomRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sue’s place is absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and communicative before and met us when we arrived to explain everything and let us in, it would have been fine had she not but it was a lovely touch. I was working remotely from the tiny house and the WiFi was extremely fast. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more. The sunset from our vantage point on the hill was beautiful.

We had a lovely stay at this charming little stone cottage. It was beautiful, and the cozy fireplace added so much warmth and ambience. The toilet, shower, and kitchen were a short walk away, but everything was clean and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and would happily stay again!

Secluded waterfront new-build - 5min walk to beach

SueRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The most beautiful retreat amongst singing birds, nature, gardens and the river. We loved every minute of our stay especially the log burner and delicious ambience. Loveday has very tastefully furnished the house with style and nothings been missed. We were there when it was very cold and so we spent time reading books, and chilling - which we never seem to do at home! Both hosts were welcoming and delightful and gave us privacy while also stocking us up with wood for the fire. We will be back and can't wait to experience heaven once more! Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us and it was wonderful to meet you! Sue and Lucy
