Our group has stayed in a lot of AirBnbs and Mavora cabin was hands down the best experience we have ever had! The location of the cabin is incredibly beautiful, it is hard to not spend all of your time just sitting and staring at the view. The cabin itself is wonderfully appointed, clean and comfortable. And Anna and Rob are absolutely wonderful hosts! They took time to show us and our two year old around the farm, and to meet some animals and they were so unbelievably kind. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would love to stay again!

We were looking for somewhere isolated, unique and memorable and this place delivered in droves. We wanted an escape and we found an oasis. The views to the mountains changes hour by hour as you sit atop the the highest point for miles around. The property had everything we needed and then some - but it was the outdoors spa that won us over. To sit outside in the warmth of the spa under a blanket of stars was truly remarkable - even better to have that solely to ourselves made it even more special. If you have Mariua Mountain Retreat on your wish list, book it now. If you don't, add it now - you won't regret it. NB: for the faint of heart who might feel daunted by the road up to the house - just follow David's instructions and you'll be fine. We drove a little Toyota Corolla and it made it up with no issues. It's a little bumpy in places, but take your time and you'll be up in no time.

Twizel was seemingly just a small stop in a 2.5 week NZ vacation, but Jana’s cabin made it truly unforgettable! It’s so lovely to have such a large and warm space when visiting a new town. Close to town center and walking distance from the beautiful Twizel River reserve. Thank you for making our time in Twizel so special! ♥️

Would definitely recommend Craig and Ri’s place if you are looking at seafront properties to stay for a night! The house had a small kitchen great for light cooking, a separate bedroom with plush bed and bathroom with shower amenities as well as a functioning heater to keep us warm! The living room has another heater as well and sofas are comfortable too. The walk to the hot tub shack was short (probably less than 30 seconds) and it is kept constant at 38 deg c, which is great during this chilly period! Overall, would recommend Craig and Ri’s place for anyone coming by to stay and looking to stroll along the beach.

This is an incredible Airbnb. If you are looking for somewhere to base yourself so you can sample some of the most breathtaking landscapes, nature and biodiversity in the world, this is it. The views from the deck alone are mind-blowing - rugged, snow capped mountains all around; at night there is so little light pollution that you can see the Milky Way!! Dan's home is stylish, tasteful, very comfortable, warm, super clean and exactly as the photos show. It has all modern conveniences - fast internet and wifi , full kitchen with a big island and large fridge, indoor and outdoor wood fireplaces, outdoor spa, a huge shower with a rainfall shower head, and floor to ceiling windows throughout. The bedrooms have blockout blinds for complete darkness when you want it. I spent two weeks here and had an amazing time exploring the Otago region, hiking, sight seeing, reading and relaxing and Dan's Airbnb was a huge part of this. Dan is very friendly and extremely easy to communicate with.

Tony’s place was perfect for us and our dog, except when our dog locked us out and Tony kindly came to the rescue. Lovely place to stay for anybody visiting beautiful Ohoka and its surrounds.

Great spot. Super cosy and lovely place, very clean and everything you need. Not even 10 mins to the ferry. Definitely recommend!

We have no hesitation recommending Lucretia's place. A stunning location above the cliff, beautiful walks on your doorstep, a great little pub just a stones throw away and a visit to the seal colony is a must. The accommodation is very well set up with a great little kitchen, clean bathroom, a comfy bed and a deck to enjoy your morning coffee with a view to die for.

Thanks for sharing your wee spot with us. Super peaceful. Loved the outdoor bath and logburner. The beds were very comfy too and warm duvets snd blankets! Lincoln and Leeston very close for a coffee or dinner. Drove to Taumutu.....wild and wonderful beach for walking. Amazing colours.

Great place to enjoy some down time. Either sitting on the deck listening to the birds while surrounded by native forest. Or relaxing in the outdoor bath under the stars. Perfect wee spot.

We had an amazing stay! This place was perfect for our short stay but definitely would be great for a longer stay. The kitchen was so well equipped (even had a slow cooker), lots of fun games to play, amazing hot tub and beautiful surroundings. Sally was a great host, she gave us lots of tips for the area and was very helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

One of our favourite stays in NZ. Beautiful location near an excellent beach and well situated to explore the Abel Tasman national park. Helpful hosts with great local tips.

We absolutely loved The Barn, everything we needed and more! A gorgeous, comfy and warm home, set amongst an idyllic landscape. Peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay with breathtaking views of the West Coast especially on a clear day. Highly recommend this place to stay. We plan to stay again.

Grace was a fantastic friendly host! She was always responsive and the location itself was superb. Very private and serene. The outdoor bath is such a nice feature to pair with the views. She also recommended us to check out the little river pumpkin festival that was happening the morning after which was very entertaining to attend.

karen was kind and very hospitable. everything was in pristine condition, from the cabin to the bathrooms to the shared kitchen. All well cared for and looked after. Felt comfortable straight away

Lovely stay, enjoyed the sauna and the views of the mountains. Kristy was a lovely host and even had a scrapbook of her family and their involvement and influence in the town which was really interesting context and made us feel like we knew our hosts a little better. We were sad we only stayed one night but it was a great launch point for our hike through the Copeland Valley the following day. The place is also close to the Fox Glacier viewpoint, so we were able to sneak that in before our big day of hiking. If you have time, we also heard the helicopter tours and helicopter-hikes were also fabulous in the area.

We loved our stay at Glenwood & highly recommend it to others. a unique and special spot. We hope to be back.

My wife and I loved staying in “The Carriage” for a two-night trip to Queenstown. The place is a short drive away from town but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. It was a super cosy space to come back to at the end of the day. Sitting in front of the wood burner or taking a bath while star gazing was absolutely magical. Thank you for having us!

Really nice retreat. Lovely rain water shower with hot water was fantastic after a swim in the river. Just FYI cabin is a little difficult to find, it is slightly before where it shows on the map. Otherwise a great stay!

Really cosy for our family of three. Fresh new design, peaceful and woke feeling refreshed. Loved watching the sheep wander past through the olive trees.
