A very comfortable home away from home, and lovely location.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the cottage. It was so cosy and everything had been thought of - comfortable bed, skylight for stargazing, outdoor bath and even slippers. We appreciated all the baby items that were set up and the toys and books. It’s in a great location and a short drive to so many great walks and scenic spots. Thank you Sean & Jana for creating such a special place.

Kath and Dan were great Hosts, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The weather was wild but the cottage was warm and cosy. We will recommend teapot cottage to friends and family and will definitely stay again if in the area.

Funky little annexe to stay in. Loved the welcome basket of freshly baked bread and eggs. It was a chilly week in Dunedin but the heater in bedroom did the job to make it cosy. Kerry was very welcoming and friendly. Had a great bike ride on the cycle path. Would like to stay in summer next time.

this was an absolutely stunning experience!!! Erin was so helpful and the place is a paradise!!!! The bad under the stars is a must, the nature surrounding is amazing, the peaceful of the area is a gift for the heart and the little cute cottage is a home feeling!! highly recommended, definitely i will comeback

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

I really appreciated the host putting so much love and attention into the house. It really was perfect! After traveling the whole world, this is by far one the most beautiful beaches I have seen. You can see the sea lions from the bedroom window and on a short walk I saw a penguin. While there are little houses next to the property, the neighbors are seldom there. I stayed for a month and saw people maybe two or three times. The rest of the time it felt extremely private. The house is about 25min drive on an unpaved road from Milton. A super tiny town. So if you want to get away, this is the place. What a hidden gem! Super recommended.

Clare’s place was fantastic. So so well appointed with everything you could possibly need - it was so well considered. The location was stunning and perfect for a chilled cosy weekend in front of the log burner. Instructions for check in and the house itself were super easy to follow and Clare was brilliant for communication. Highly recommend adding on the spa pool for a relaxing soak overlooking a gorgeous view.

Had such a wonderful stay here. Everything was beautifully presented with a great attention to detail and a high level of comfort. Would not hesitate to stay here again and was the perfect getaway. Hosts were very friendly and informative and made us feel right at home.

Great shower pressure, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, grass for the dog. It felt like a real home with lots of basics in case you forgot something. Hard to find the driveway and get up it, but once you've done it once you're good to go. A bit remote from shops, but that's a good thing. It was so peaceful and the views were amazing. Particularly the sunrise.

We stayed at Alexandra’s with our 6 month old and had plenty of room as well as everything we needed. It was a treat getting to enjoy her beautiful garden, introducing our baby to the fruits, flowers and songbirds that made up this little corner of paradise. The bed and pillows were extra comfortable, giving us extra good night sleeps after hiking and exploring the Nelson-Tasman area. Alex gave some great recommendations for walks right from our doorstep, giving us beautiful views of the farmlands and vineyards surrounding the area. We stayed nearly a week and had everything we needed and more!

Perfect Getaway in Fairlie. Absolutely stunning location with big driveway, stargazing thru bedroom roof—felt like a dream. The house was spotless, with a fantastic washroom. Very warm. Elizabeth and Allan were amazing hosts and made everything easy. Pantry was full with many spices, eggs and everything you need. Peaceful, beautiful, and beyond clean. Would go back again.

A lovely quiet place to stay, toasty warm with the fire, no light pollution which was awesome. It is just round the corner from Ayrburn which is stunning. Really comfortable and we would definitely come back here.

A cosy and well designed cabin in a very peaceful setting. Stunning views of distant mountains with abundant bird life made us feel connected to nature. Hope to return again.

A beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely gardens. It is located on a private part of the property allowing the flexibility to go anywhere and arrive home at any time of the day and night, without disruption. The accommodation was pristine, clean and very comfortable. They provided clear instructions and recommendations. The hosts are wonderful friendly people. Highlights of cottage: Comfortable King Size Bed, Bathroom is modern and clean, Full kitchen with a stove, microwave and full size Fridge/Freezer (so good to have that). spacious living for 2 people. Had the most relaxing, rejuvenating weekend at Sylvia's Cottage. The accommodation is as described, but I also say that the cottage feels like a warm hug. Comfortable beds and furniture, easy access to the beach and headland walks. This cottage was absolutely perfect for our long weekend reboot!
