Fantastic house for our young family, we stayed in August and it was nice and warm. Location is great, as well as the view. Good value for money. Really loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom and having the heat pump on when we arrived was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location. shopping Center, supermarket is walking distance or short drive away. Impressive kitchen and utensils for cooking. Plenty of spices, cooking ingredients and breakfast cereal are provided as well. Pretty sure the owner is food enthusiasts or chef. Well equipped kitchen same as what you have at home.

Great, responsive and helpful host, our apprentices loved their stay and we would highly recommend Bex and her Air BnB to everyone.

Great place for a family weekend in Wellington. Cool location with great views of the South coast. Good location for things in Miramar peninsular or Kilbirnie/Lyell Bay area

Barbara’s house was in a nice quiet location. It had everything that we needed for our stay and the house and section was child friendly. Thank you for your hospitality.

The flat was very cosy and homely. I must say the bed was so comfortable it was amazing I slept well. It accommodated all my needs staying there as a single traveller. The highlight was the view, as on top of the hill overlooking Owhiro Bay Beach, Red Rocks, Devil's Gate, The Mountains and towards the South Island. It was breath taking and so nice to look at every day and watch the birds fly over to and from the sea catching the wind gusts. On the 13th May 2025 Wellington put on an awesome sunset which was incredible I got some top pics as I had a bird's eye view at the house watching it. I grew up in Owhiro Bay so it brought back a lot of fond memories that I will cherish. Helen was an excellent host, kind, caring, easy to contact and she even dropped off a wheat bag for me as I had a sore back which was a fantastic help. Dealing with Helen was an ease and she is a lovely lady and I would recommended staying there for any traveller. Thanks heaps Helen I will be back again soon :)

Michael’s place was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to get around and worked perfectly for my trip. The townhouse was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Overall this was a lovely house with beautiful views. Finding the drive was a little difficult as Google says you've arrived at number 2 🤣 The driveway is definitely steep as warned in the listing but well worth it for the views. My family loved our stay, it was comfortable and warm.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

We had a fabulous time celebrating our mums birthday with a weekend of relaxation at Melleny and Simon’s place. We had 3 young children who had a blast with the toys/books/pool and outdoor activities (just be mindful of a steep staircase to the third floor but this was foretold to us) Lovely peaceful location and Melleny and Simon were wonderful hosts with prompt communication and reassurance to our queries. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming converted barn! It’s cozy, beautifully designed, and full of character. The space was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Loved the peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and serene place to stay!

Right from the start we had good communications and a friendly welcome. Beautiful position and views and quiet and tranquil. Was a restful and peaceful 4 days. We were welcomed by Donna as we drove up to the house and she walked us to our rooms and explained everything to us showing us around the flat. There was fresh milk in the fridge along with chocolates and fruit from the garden. Dean was friendly and helpful, and we had several long conversations over the weekend about the property and the Kapiti Coast in general. The purpose of our stay was to relax but also visit the area with a view to moving to the Kapiti area, all our expectations were fulfilled, friendly people, lovely beaches and scenery and great weather. This is the second time we have stayed here, it is cozy and close to Petone town. Has all the necessities plus some!! Well stocked pantry and even a big bottle of milk. Super clean and comfortable beds.

Klare is what makes this a special place: kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed is comfy, the tuis chat away, and it's a bit like a good old kiwi holiday bach. Casual, welcoming, and easygoing in a spare self contained room of her home. Thank you Klare for added excitement 😊

Duane is friendly and very helpful his place exceeded my expectations, located close to the city centre with free parking. The interior is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and bedding of very good quality. Coming into winter the space is warm with plenty of heating options.

Wonderful character home. Beautiful views, just across the road from the beach. Listing was accurate and host was lovely and helpful.

Lovely tiny home nestled away in Kelson. Extremely peaceful and private. The greenhouse was an awesome piece, and for us a nice spot to play board games even during winter although you need to be dressed warmly. We were able to feed the alpacas which was quite a novelty! Priscilla was a great host. All communication was prompt and friendly, couldn't ask for more from a host. It's also only a 10 minutes drive from central Lower Hutt, so it's an easy drive out if you need supplies or want to head out for lunch or dinner.

A lovely stay with Catherine in a very well set up cottage. The highlights must be mentioned individually, this is such a lovely property: sizeable and well fenced yard, gorgeous wee deck, super comfortable and warm bed, kitchen, dining, and living room areas all wonderful, and a spacious bathroom make this such an amazing place to stay, along with the rural property and the peace and quiet that goes with it. Such a good sleep in a very warm cottage. Will keep on my list for the next time I'm back in the area!

The most beautiful place to stay before a wedding, Tina was extremely accommodating and I felt like I was right at home. The attention and detail she has put into the property was top notch and the alpacas were so cute and friendly! Thank you so much for a truly unforgettable stay.
