Glebe Cottage

This period holiday cottage is in the old stable block of Carrowkeel Glebe House and was the first part that we renovated it a few years ago. It is on the Mulroy Bay side of Fanad with Murrin hill to the rear. Conveniently located just 1 mile from Tamney (Tawny) village and 3 miles from Portsalon, with Ballyhiernan, Ballymastocker and Drumnacraig beaches all within 10 minutes drive. Min 3 nights stay. Bed 2 can be arranged either as a double bed or as 2 singles.

The cabin has been tastefully furnished with a completely bespoke kitchen, king size bed and decorated with blinds and soft furnishings from the famous Mcnutt Tweed factory. Sit in your own private hot tub on the veranda and enjoy a spectacular view of the bay. You won't want to get out!

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.

Whin hill cottage’s guesthouse is located near Marble hill beach and Ards forest park, between the village of Creeslough and the sea side village of Dunfananaghy. 20 minute walk to the beach, 25 minutes walk to the Shanndon hotel.
