Luxury rentals in Tamarindo Beach Costa Rica

So many good things to say about this place and the concierge. First, the home is even better than the photos and they thought of every detail. The pool is an oasis with the most beautiful sunsets. We believe the absolute best time to visit is early May, but you really can’t go wrong. The concierge made great recommendations for our stay and they coordinated superb excursions for us. In addition, we hired Flamingo Foods (through concierge) and they hit it out of the park. The food, service and kitchen staff were wonderful. We felt very safe, there is a guard at the main security gate 24/7. There are also two more security gates that you go through as you go to the home within the gated community. Surrounding the property there is so much to do in Playa Flamingo. This beach was our favorite. Go get a massage in the beach. Also stop by Coco Loco at the beach for their famous “Coco Loco” drink. Play Flamingo Marina is also a hot spot to check out. Surf box, Santino Norte… Google it. 10/10

My birthday celebration at Stella Rose was amazing. This location was the perfect place to host my family and friends for an experience of a life time. The spectacular views and layout exceeded our expectations. This villa will be in my memories forever. Carla was amazing. She was very responsive and friendly. If you are considering this villa for your vacation, I highly recommend it!

Very beautiful space, one of the best views I’ve had from any other Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, especially this unit being a corner unit the views were spectacular. From the beach you can see the complex is the highest one up on the hill. Location was great only 6 minutes to the strip, plus it was helpful that they are affiliated with hotel Diria and we were able to use their parking when on the strip, made it really convenient . Place was huge with high ceilings definitely felt nice staying there. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at Casa La Reina! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and our entire stay. They helped us arrange an excursion, groceries, and meals for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts who helped show us the property and all the features. At this time we also paid for all of our groceries for the week, which were stocked in the fridge/pantry. They even had welcome snacks and drinks prepared for us when we arrived! The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Tamarindo on a gravel road. The road is fairly easy to navigate, the last part being a steep hill up to the house. We had a small SUV (Rav4) and had no issues traversing the roads. The house felt very secluded, safe and private. The house was also very well kept and had an amazing view from the deck/pool area! We had a total of 4 people (2 couples) and felt we had plenty of space and privacy while here. We would highly recommend!

We had an amazing trip. The home is beautiful, clean and has all you need. Family friendly and we were sad to leave. Loved all of the staff! They were so helpful, best drinks & food and more than anything so sweet and accommodating to our children! Thank you again and hope to be back soon!

Amazing house in an unbelievable location. This house was perfect for our very large family spring break vacation...we had 17 people and never felt on top of each other. Amenities galore, friendly staff and located near so many things to do. Our kids had the most wonderful time. We were never bored and always felt extremely safe. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back! Will definitely stay here again!

Special Places was all the listing depicted. We loved the home and it's amenities including the caretakers, Alis and Paula. My husband was unwell the entire we and it was a wonderful home for him to rest in while we buzzed around preparing meals, working a bit and heading in and out for our excursions. It could have been a complete downer but we still enjoyed our time there enormously! The concierge was incredibly helpful and everyone was communicative. Nice job!

The outdoor spaces were a dream—waking up to the sound of tropical birds, enjoying coffee on the balcony with panoramic ocean views, and winding down in the evenings with breathtaking sunsets. The pool was pristine and perfectly positioned for both relaxation and enjoying the surrounding scenery. Erin did I great job crafting the perfect stay for my birthday and made sure every wish I had became a reality. I highly recommend staying at Compass House. I know I can’t wait to return.

Incredible stay at a magical house that worked perfectly for two families with five children. Well stocked and staffed and Karina was incredibly helpful finding local tour guides and chefs to cook elegant private dinners. Five stars - will visit again
