Cantick Head is a very special Airbnb. Alan was helpful, welcoming and a great host. The cottage was amazing and had everything we needed. Well equipped, really comfortable, peaceful with the best views. We loved the hot tub and sat outside for hours watching the sea. Loads to see in the local area and Alan was really helpful in suggesting places to visit and explore. We absolutely loved it, definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic location, with fantastic scenery nearby. Had some wonderful walks, literally behind the property. The BBQ area was fantastic like the hot tub. I can’t say much more, but I will be looking to return ASAP Matthew is a fantastic host and nothing seems to be too much of a problem. Loved the place, oh and the Highland cows are awesome.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. The place is super cozy, with a lovely fireplace that made evenings feel extra special. The kitchen was fully equipped and really great for cooking, and having a proper dining room added a nice touch — we could actually sit and enjoy our meals together. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We slept well, the beds were comfy, and the whole area was peaceful with just the sound of the river nearby. The hot tub and fresh air were the cherry on top. Huge thanks to the host — very friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely come back!

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

Probably the best Christmas we have had for a while. All the stress taken out of it by the hosts, the house was beautifully decorated for the season, two wrapped presents and a hamper of goodies. We felt thoroughly spoilt! The cabin is exquisite and we would love to come back. It was wonderful for the dogs too, completely fenced in around the cabin so no fears of escapees! We loved everything about it!!

This was an absolutely beautiful stay. We booked a mini break in Scotland not expecting the most beautiful holiday. The lodge was brilliant with all the things we needed. Loch Mogdale provided as an amazing walk and a nearby town called Tain had a brilliant takeaway that we would recommend! The breathtaking views from your bed encouraged us to get up and explore! Would recommend this stay to anyone.

The time at the cottage was incredibly beautiful and slowing down. We enjoyed every second there. Peter was incredibly helpful, totally nice and had great recommendations for our time in the cottage. The cottage was totally lovely decorated, cozy and everything was thoughtful. From the hot water bottle, to the firewood, good equipment in the kitchen... We were really happy and already miss life there! We would come back any time and fell in love with Scotland a bit more!

What a delightful cottage with stunning views. So peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were exceptionally helpful. We had a great time and throughly recommended this cottage. Dog friendly was a bonus too.

Had a warm and cosy stay at the cottage, which was lovely and clean, and in a stunning area. Plenty of parking space. Plenty of wood given to last the week. Neighbours friendly. We were worried about the road being so close once we got there, but with the cottage being low in the hillside, the sound of the road traffic went over the roof, so it was nice and peaceful. A really lovely village and highly recommend the tearoom at Elphin for food and drinks. We even got to see the northern lights and lots of shooting stars! A great stay!

Jenny’s house was wonderful. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean. Very spacious and comfortable with a very effective heating system. Now to the location, spectacularly beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets and really, really peaceful and serene. Even when it rained, it was still beautiful. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

We were so happy with our accommodation. It exceeded our expectations. Great location, beautiful views an all round fantastic place. Bea was a great host, very responsive and had left some helpful reviews of things to do and places to go. We loved it 🥰

Lovely place to stay, felt very homely. Wonderful views and even better that there were no neighbours in the immediate vicinity which our reactive doggy appreciated, along with the big enclosed garden. Would definitely stay here again, well worth the price paid.

Really lovely and well equipped little cottage in a beautiful area of the world. Very comfortable bed. The dogs loved the enclosed garden. Handy EV charger at the front. Caroline was very responsive. Highly recommended overall.

It is a lovely cottage with so much character and charm. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for groups of 5-6 people. The shower is good and hot and the views are stunning! We were 6 adults and having one bathroom was not ideal but we made it work and you should too! The perfect place to visit in hopeman

Caroline and George were very accommodating hosts - the cabin is a lively place to stay for 2 people, can’t recommend it enough. We got a short tour on arrival, and felt right at home. The bed was super comfy, fully stocked kitchen with a comfy living room space. There are some nice walks in the area and the black water river/stream runs right outback, the falls are also walkable/nearby. We plan on coming again some time!

How to describe what my husband and I experienced here in 1000 characters or less is impossible. Torfeddy had everything we were looking for! 4 days wasn’t nearly enough. Maggie has the gem of a lifetime here. If you like to escape and explore then this is the place for you. If you’re looking for yourself again, this is the place for you. Everything’s we needed was here. Hiking everyday in order to see real Scotland was just what we wanted in every sense of the word. We even got lucky enough to see the seals. Maggie is the sweetest! The absolute tops! Wendy down at the market was the most helpful and Luz down at the secret tea garden was the kindest! When we come back Maggie, and we will one day. We pray we can find you again and stay a bit longer in your paradise. To say this was the highlight of our trip is a huge understatement! This was the best part. Drumbeg is our favourite village in Scotland hands down! Thank you so much Maggie!

Elizabeth's cottage in Melvich was a beautiful place to stay. Right at the northern sea, the view from the bedrooms is incredible, including actual sheep in the neighbour's yard! The location is really nice and pretty easy to get to from the typical NC500 route, just a couple of minutes detour. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to prepare a quick breakfast and some coffee, and the interior was super cozy. A quick walk down the croft at the back to arrive at the sea feels like a movie, but that's what you get! Elizabeth was super nice and helped point out some restaurants for us, and even showed us some sheep and cows at her farm! The whole stay was a really fantastic experience and an easy recommend from me (and my mum & sister).

Absolutely spectacular views and very private. The area has lots to do, with everything from dolphin watching, great hiking trails, quaint villages and fabulous food. Emma is an attentive host who goes out of her way to make your experience wonderful. Highly recommended.

We travelled up to Ullapool to celebrate a 70 th birthday with family and could not have been happier with Tigh a' Bhraoin. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Pamela has thought of everything. The view from the house over Loch Broom is superb and the lounge is comfy and very relaxing. Beds were comfortable and the area is so peaceful. We had a barbecue on the last night as the weather was so nice , having spent the day at Achmelvich beach. Thoroughly recommend this lovely home. Thank you.

This has to be my favourite rental yet! The window seat looking over Findhorn Bay was the most relaxing place to sip my morning coffee and watch the water. The cottage is beautifully decorated with gorgeous furnishings, ten bathrooms filled with the most heavenly scented toiletries and a welcome pack which is way beyond anything I have ever had in all of my rentals. I cannot wait to come back!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice cottage and landscape around, quiet, a few activities within 30 min drive.

We stayed 4 nights at Hoy View and wish we could have stayed longer, the house was immaculate and comfortable, plus had all the things needed for a fantastic stay including information on walks and places to visit. Highly recommended.
