Holiday rentals with lake access in Tagaytay

The host and the caretaker is very accommodating, Its easy to request for things and they even let us extend our checked out time. The place is also great and have board games.

Place is very private, perfect for those wanting peaceful but fun weekend getaway. Only 2hrs from Manila via SLEX/Star Tollway. Speedboat already waiting for us upon arrival. There’s so much do to — water activities, karaoke, netflix or just chill all day by the pool with the best view of Taal Lake. House is clean, well maintained and almost complete. Caretakers live next door so it’s very convenient if you need anything. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our next visit!

The place was very nice, the furnishings and decor are top notch, we enjoyed the pool very much, it was clean and good sized, and the water temperature, when we were there was just right even without heating. It is a beautiful and tranquil place perfect for bonding, relaxation and unwinding.

Looooved the bnb 😍 went there last holy weekend and there were only a few guests- everything’s quiet, secluded, and felt exclusively just for you. Sunset is beautiful. Joey/ host is also super nice and kind, very responsive when it comes to our concerns. Staff were so nice! And very welcoming, made sure everything’s convenient for us even though the location’s isolated- gave us cooking oil, changed our bidet SUPER FAST! Shout out to Kuya Nino!!! Such an excellent experience for us from the get go- the beautiful boat ride on the way to the island, the cool natural spring water of their pool would make sure you beat the heat, everything’s just super nice! This place is so lovely! 💕 Super clean, spacious, and has everything you need. Perfect spot for some quality family time. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free as well. Ms. Gestinne is also very responsive, and everything is all set when you arrive—even manuals with all the info you need. Our family really had a great time in the house, we’ll definitely be back—highly recommend! 😍

Place fit with our numbers.. It is clean and quiet, we slept well. Only cons is heater at the ground floor is not working.. otherwise the whole place is great.

The house is clean, cozy, and gives off nostalgic, homey vibes—like visiting your grandparents during a family celebration. It’s in a quiet neighborhood near a sari-sari store run by a friendly lolo and lola, who may help arrange a tricycle ride if one is parked nearby. The interior is well-kept, though the front grass could use trimming and the exterior might benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Please note that GrabCar pickup isn’t available at this location—the app doesn’t offer it here. However, GrabFood and GrabMart do work, though you may need to coordinate with drivers as the map sometimes shows the wrong street. It might be a mapping issue or just a wierd coincidental glitch.

The house is spacious, more than enough for our small family. Hosts Dustine and Kim are responsive to our queries. The caretaker, Mang Pangyong, was also accommodating whenever we have questions or concerns. The property doesn't have WiFi and there were minor issues but all good, we were able to manage. Overall, it was a great stay, the house is nostalgic, and we were able to host last minute visitors, relatives visiting town.

Relazing stay! The place was well-maintained and exactly as described. The cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay.

We stayed in Ms. Angelique’s apartment for my son’s birthday. Ms. Angelique was very responsive and very considerate on our requests. The room was just as advertised. Though we were informed that the burner was not functioning when we arrived, they managed to assist us eventually. The place is just about 3 mins walk from the Kumintang pool, the view of the taal lake is just awesome! The ACs are working well. Bathrooms are clean, equipped w/ hot and cold water. We didn’t have any issues with parking. One improvement point (not that big deal for us but can be a plus for future guests): Ensure bed frames are wiped clean. Frames are a bit dusty.. 😅 All in all, we had fun!

We had a wonderful stay overall. The host/co-host was incredibly responsive and attentive even after our check-in, which we really appreciated. While the holiday rush made parking challenging, the caretaker's help in finding paid parking was a great relief. However, we did encounter some issues with a slow elevator and a leaking air conditioner during our stay. Despite these minor inconveniences, we still enjoyed our time and are grateful for the caretaker's assistance.

We had an overnight stay at Casa Gunita (SMDC Wind) from May 31 to June 1, and it truly felt like a home away from home 🏡. The unit was clean, cozy, and fully equipped—kompleto talaga 🧼🍽️🛏️. You can tell the host prepared everything with care 💯. The view of Taal 🌋 from the unit was stunning—ang sarap gumising with that view! 😍 Both the host and her caretaker were super friendly and accommodating 🤗, which made us feel extra welcome. Location is also a big plus—walking distance to groceries, restaurants, and cafes 🛒🍴☕. Sobrang convenient! Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and we’d love to stay here again!

We stayed for a night at Mr. Michael’s unit because we are meeting some friends in Tagaytay. After a week of searching, we decided to book his place because it is really affordable compared to other units around the area, given its great location. I personally requested to do an early check-in than the usual because we planned to leave our things first before we head out for lunch with friends. Mr. Michael let us check-in at 1pm with no extra charge which was really kind of him. They even gave us the keycode 1hr before the 1pm check-in which let us entered the unit at 12:50pm. We still have time to rest for a little bit and freshen up before we went out. The unit was clean with fresh linens. Bedroom and bathroom were also spotless. Wifi is working and fast. But I must say that SMDC units in Wind Residences are quite small compared to the units here in Manila (Sea, Shore, Shell, etc.), just in case you are used to them. Over all, we had a great time at this place and will book again 😊
