Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Syracuse

This is a convenient flat with loads of great restaurants etc nearby. We recommend a great local bar/restaurant Il Quarto steak house. Proper local bar, full all the time when most other restaurants empty, wide selection of great food, proper bar staff, etc. Parking was Ok. Easy walk to the archeological park which was fantastic. Only issue we faced was that the spiral staircase to the bedroom is hard to negotiate with a large suitcase and you have to do a steep up and down staircase to access the front door - it was not too much of a problem for us as we are fit but it might be hard for some people

The place was amazing! Clean, modern, location was perfect; very close to the main street. The place is ideal for big groups- extremely spacious. The outdoors space / private veranda was ideal

We stayed for 4 days. We had a very good time. Very clean and very well furnished house. Located in the center. The only problem was the phone reception that was a little lacking, of course the Wi-Fi present supplemented most of the needs.

Very well maintained and sparkling clean apartment in the basement of the house. Top location, few meters to the sea - supermarket, bakery, restaurants within walking distance. Great starting point for numerous interesting excursions to the surrounding area. Concetta gave us a great vacation, was always friendly and easy to reach and there were numerous tips for things to do, excursions and restaurant recommendations. The only small drawback: the apartment is quite noisy and unfortunately some barking dogs in the neighborhood. We can imagine ourselves coming back.

Angelo's apartment is ideal if you rented a car, especially the ones we don't know where to park. Sicily is very complicated to park. Angelo has garages. The place is very quiet, there are very good restaurants nearby, the beach is too. The pool is spotless. Communication with Angelo was perfect, always attentive to messages . I'd come back !

The apartment, equipped with everything you need, functional and clean, is in a great location, just outside the chaos of the village, a 5-minute walk away. The dedicated parking of the property is an important plus, considering that, in late August, it is difficult to find a place in the village, if not paid. Highly recommended.

The house of Concetta is taken care of in every detail, spacious and suitable for couples with children. Just steps to the beach and downtown. Concetta is an attentive host and responds promptly to communications.

Very nice and big apartment! Well furnished. is located in the outdoor area in a development with four- five-story houses. The parking is secured with an electronically controllable gate. There's a lot going on in the street during rush hour, but otherwise fine. The apartment is spacious and has a balcony. You can walk to the archaeological park, about 10-15 minutes, where all parking is occupied in the morning anyway. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us good instructions in the apartment and then gave us important tips, e.g. restaurant, shopping, parking.

Had an amazing stay at Claudio’s place. The location is close to everything and his place is the perfect spot to call home for a few days in Noto (the balconies are amazing!). Claudio was also a great host and responded right away to any questions we had and check-in was easy. There was also free parking on the street out front. Would stay again.

The listing is clean, according to the description and photos. The room is large and the bed is comfortable. It is very close to Ortigia on foot and the daily market for shopping and not far from the bus and train station to get to Catania, Noto, Raguse etc. it is quiet which is good for resting at night. For those who are used to sleeping in complete darkness remember to take a mask there is no shutter and public lighting is present. Fabio is very responsive to messages and very friendly. Check-in is easy and independent. We didn't miss anything, we had a lovely stay and recommend this place.

I am delighted I choose Paolo's house for my 1 week stay in Palazzolo. The apartment is stunning, well equipped & everything is high quality. I have stayed in many airbnb properties around the world and this is by far one of the cleanest and most beautiful. The bed is super comfortable and after traveling two days from Canada I had the best sleep. The location is fantastic; in the historic part of town where you are surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops and plenty of history. A car is not needed as you can walk everywhere, even the bus to take you to other towns/cities is just an easy ten minute walk. If you stay for 3 nights, Paolo will take you for a day sail around Siracusa on his beautiful sailboat. Paolo and his wife Milania are amazing people who know everything about the area and eager to help. I awoke the second day to fresh juicy oranges delivered to my door. If you are traveling to the beautiful town of Palazzolo, make sure to choose this amazing property.

Everything was fine. Was at the end of the season, so swimming pool no longer really warm.

This is the most wonderful place to stay. By far one of the best little houses I have ever stayed in. Paolo is the best host. He is responsive, caring and nothing was ever too much trouble. As soon as we arrived, a basket of fresh fruits and classic ragusan chesses were waiting for us: a small gesture, but it made us feel immediately on vacation. The house is spacious, with three bedrooms (the girls loved their own), two comfortable bathrooms – one with a bathtub perfect for the little ones, the other with a large shower. Everything is clean, fragrant sheets, towels, shampoo and also fresh water and the essentials in the fridge to avoid running to the supermarket. The garden is the heart of the house: table under a lemon, lots of greenery and an outdoor kitchen with a super comfortable barbecue. Unforgettable evenings between citrus and grilled meat. Stable Wi-Fi, Netflix for girls, and a quiet beach just a short walk away. On the other hand, a grove with a picnic area. Perfect location for visiting the wonders of Val di Noto. Luca is an exceptional host, always available. Convenient indoor parking for two cars. Casa Talja is a welcome and scent of Sicily. We'd be back soon! 🌞
