Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Great house with loads of windows and beautiful views everywhere you look. The house was super cute, too. The pictures don't do it justice. The host was responsive and went out of their way to be friendly.

We had a lovely stay. Harpa’s home is beautiful and it comfortably accommodated the five of us. They were very responsive and were available to give us the run down in person. Along with a grill they also have a pizza oven that we used to make a delicious dinner one night :)

Egill's place is a beautiful place and very well maintained. It is centrally located in Golder Circle route. It is a very ambient and nice place. It is a very cleaned unit. She is a great responsive and friendly. Selfoss has a good grocery store and other bakery places nearby. She and her husband both are very friendly and great people to deal with. I would sure come back again to her place.

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, even leaving us a handwritten note and it was such a thoughtful touch. also the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Being escaped from the coldness of iceland, heating worked perfectly, and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and comfortable after a day of exploring. The location was in a peaceful neighborhood, and the house was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. Staying here made our Iceland experience even more memorable !! Probably one of the best places we've stayed, as the house is far superior to what the photos show. The location is wonderful, the house and amenities simply superb, without a doubt a place we will return to on our next visit to Iceland. During our stay we felt completely at home, the comfort, all the utensils in the kitchen available, great central heating, in short we recommend it and we can only thank Helga for providing us with this experience.

Björgvin is a great host and his place was everything our group was looking for. Remote house, with a hot tub, grill and good vibes. The location and the view from the terrace is beautiful with only a few minutes drive to the nearest town. Björgvin was really friendly and offered his assistance if we needed anything which was a nice touch.

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean and beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The place felt remote but was near enough to Selfoss to make grocery shopping and eating out very convenient. The house was immaculate, very well equipped, and exactly as described. We were able to watch the northern lights from the beautiful deck and we were able to interact with the sweet horses on our way to and from the property. Edda was very communicative and explained everything very well. We would definitely stay here again!

This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage with amazing views. Cottage was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Comfy beds and couch. Loved the covered hot tub - we had windy/rainy evenings, so it was nice to soak while having some weather protection! There is a large windowed sliding door you can open as well to let in cool air in. Host was friendly and communicative, check-in and check-out were very easy. Other pros - there’s a cute restaurant onsite, and we didn’t use them, but also laundry facilities. We’d definitely stay again!

A well-equipped, spacious basement appartment in a quiet neighbourhood just outside Reykjavik. It is easy to reach by car, and there are supermarkets, gas stations and charging stations at a 5-minute drive distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. And, speaking as a cat lover: there are 2 gorgeous big cats walking around that will come and say hello.

this was a great place! close to many things. we used it as a base for day trips around Iceland. super clean, quiet, and had all the amenities you need. alex was always quick to respond to all our questions and was so helpful. definitely recommend this spot.

Was a great stay! Our host was super responsive and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and had plenty of blankets! The cottage was out of the way, which was exactly what we were looking for! It wasn’t too far away from town, maybe a 30 minute drive.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old. We arrived very late so appreciated the clear flexible check in instructions. The hosts set up the portable crib and a high chair for us, which was so helpful. We brought an inflatable tub which worked well in the shower. The place was perfect for exploring Reykjavik, Golden Circle and surrounding areas. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and would stay here again!

Very warm house,comfortable you have supermarkets and a very quiet area. The location is great for taking trips outside Reykjavik. Loved it!

we love everything about staying in Sara's home. comfortable warm ambience with all the necessities. location is perfect for a peaceful stay, yet close to Bonus for groceries, Braud&Co. for parties, Sky Lagoon 29 min walk. Bus stop is 5 min & 15 min. into Reykjavik. We stayed last summer 3 days, and a again for 5 days. highly recommend.

It’s cozy apartment! The rooms are clean and the location is good. If you’re looking for a place near the city centre, it is a good option.

Convenient location, offering both parking and laundry upon request. Lovely hosts with great communication. The listing was exactly as advertised, well-maintained and very clean. Cozy home with plenty of space and easy access to the city as well as driving out of the city. Easy walk to the city center and all the shopping and restaurants Reykjavik has to offer. A great food hall is just a few minutes walk away. My favorite bakery and brunch spot, Sandholt is just a short 15 minute walk. We walked to the old harbor for our puffin watching excursion in 30 minutes. All very convenient! We also left the city and had easy access to the main highways at various times. This home is lived in by the hosts and obviously well-loved. Great art, well-utilized spaces with two seating areas, a dining space, functional kitchen, comfy sleeping and a spacious bathroom. We felt like guests in this home…what a lovely way to feel during our vacation!

The host and the space was great! Very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The place was very nice and clean, Rakel even put out extra linens on the couch since we had someone sleeping there. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.
