The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Only a 3 min walk to the main bus terminal and the main shopping/dining street Laugavegur. Supermarket 3 minute walk. Also a 5 minutes walk to a renovated swimming pool that has indoor and outdoor swimming, sauna and hot tubs. There is free parking in front of the apartment. Please note the apartment is on the second floor, there is no elevator, 20 steps to climb.

Two bathrooms, one main with a tub and a smaller one with a walk in shower. Fully equipped kitchen.
