Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Sveitarfélagið Ölfus

The four of us (4 adults) had plenty of room, comfortable furniture/beds and fully stocked kitchen equipment. Viðar and Bryndís are responsive and accommodating hosts. Location made city attractions (museums, churches, walking) and day trips (Golden Circle, puffin tour, sky Lagoon, Snaelfellsnes Peninsula) simple. We were always happy to return to this home that felt like an island of peace.

Great location, close to the golden circle. We were able to see the northern lights right at backyard. The two cats are cute and friendly. Sigmar was very responsive!

We had an amazing time at Emma and Oskar’s place. The location was serene and breathtaking. Beautiful views of the water and wildlife. The home was extremely cozy, tasteful, and had everything we could ask for. The deck had gorgeous views, a wonderful hot tub, the water was always hot, the beds were comfortable and the entire place had a cozy feel. Hosts gave very clear check in instructions which made it a breeze. The home is close to everything you need. We had an amazing time and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland.

Beautiful dwelling unit in their home, private, quiet area, hosts were wonderful. Very kind and gave us recommendations of places to visit. Less than 10 minute drive to downtown with shopping centers and grocery stores nearby.

The host, Mr. G, was a helpful and accommodating host. He came through for us when an accommodation fell through for us in another place. It has a great kitchen and bathroom with a good shower. Thank you, Mr G for your hospitality! We recommend you to everyone.

A beautiful and peaceful place in a neighborhood of new construction, far enough away from the crowd and tourists downtown but close enough to get there in 20min by car when desired. Easy access to the Golden Circle. Was perfect for my family and having two bathrooms was particularly nice. Communication was always quick and excellent.

I recently stayed at this fantastic Airbnb. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the city center, offering easy access to local shops and restaurants. The vibrant neighborhood was peaceful, making us feel right at home. The property itself was a standout, featuring impressive amenities. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a joy, with modern appliances and ample cookware at our disposal. The stylish living space, complete with a cozy couch and high-quality entertainment system, was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Fast Wi-Fi ensured we stayed connected when needed. The host was incredibly responsive, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions.

Provavelmente um dos melhores locais onde ficamos, pois a casa é muito superior ao que as fotografias mostram. A localização é maravilhosa, a casa e as comodidades simplesmente soberbas, sem duvida local que iremos voltar na próxima visita a Islândia. Durante a nossa estadia sentimo-nos completamente em casa, o conforto, todos os utensílios na cozinha disponíveis, aquecimento central ótimo, enfim recomendamos é só podemos agradecer a Helga por nos proporcionar esta experiência.

Everything was fine with the accommodation. Milad answers questions quickly. Parking is great. Fully equipped kitchen.

Would definitely recommend. Host was extremely helpful and quick to respond, giving great advice of local supermarkets etc. Furnished to a beautiful standard, very clean and all the essentials, plus more. Sadly, we were very excited to see tin foil in the drawer 😁 as this was so useful to us- our children who didn't like early breakfast, so we wrapped bacon sandwiches each day for on the go. Loved the addition of a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, all with washing tablets available. Felt like home from home and made our stay a really happy one. Thank you so much.

Kristin and her husband were delightful. The apartment was perfect for the four of us. No television, which was great to be away from the media! I would definitely stay with them again.

Great place to stay. Has everything you need. You would need a car to stay here, it’s only a few minutes outside the city center and we found this really convenient, but probably would have been bothered if we didn’t have a car.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

A wonderful place, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, easy access to the main roads. Was a great base to use while we explored the country every day.

It was a perfect setting for our trip to Iceland. Unless you are a bus user, renting a car with this location would be advised. It is a little bit from the capital so having transportation makes life easier when staying in this neighborhood. Apartment was clean and we cooked lots of yummy meals in the kitchen. The couch bed was optimal for my brother and myself. Thank you for a great stay! We would book again!

Styrmir’s house was beautiful and was everything we needed on our trip. It was conveniently located by several grocery stores, not to mention being very close to the city center. It also had very easy access to the major highways out of Reykjavik, making day trips extremely easy. Styrmir was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts. He was a font of incredibly helpful information and continuously checked in to see how we were doing. The cats in the house were one of the best parts. They were super cute, extremely friendly, and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

Alles super.Sif ist sehr freundlich,der self Check-in hat gut funktioniert. In die Stadt ist es zu Fuß ein bisschen weit,deshalb sind wir immer mit dem Auto gefahren was kein Problem war.

My wife and I stayed with our 16 month baby and had a great time. It is in a great community with lots of parks. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed for our toddler (high chair, crib, plates, toys etc.). We would highly recommend for a small family. Arndis was very responsive and helpful during our stay.
