Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

Björgvin is a great host and his place was everything our group was looking for. Remote house, with a hot tub, grill and good vibes. The location and the view from the terrace is beautiful with only a few minutes drive to the nearest town. Björgvin was really friendly and offered his assistance if we needed anything which was a nice touch.

What a great find! The place was perfect and the rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub and I loved the books! I read a Steinbeck book which I greatly appreciated. The kitchen was beautiful as was the sunroom. I imagine the sunroom would be the perfect room to see the Northern Lights. The neighborhood was peaceful and we even got to spend a little time with one of the neighbors who was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious, clean & nicely designed. If you are looking for horseback riding our kids LOVED “Riding Tours South Iceland.” Our stay was absolutely wonderful. I would love to return there someday.

Leszek was very supportive, the information about the house precise. The place is beautiful, cozy and cabin-like. The hot tub is very pleasant (the water smells like sulfur due to the geothermal area). we would definitely recommend this place Nd come back again!

Wir haben uns sofort in der Villa am Fluß wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal um die Attraktionen des Golden Circle zu besichtigen. Die Lage am Fluss und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, auf jeden zu empfehlen.

Ein absoluter Traum in Hveragerði! Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch zentral im charmanten Ort Hveragerði. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gemütliche Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause. Die Gastgeber*in war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Check-in und Check-out verliefen reibungslos. Viele liebevolle Details zeigten, wie viel Herzblut hier hineingesteckt wurde. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Danke für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!

Gorgeous home! The bathroom and whole house is beautifully renovated. The kitchen is fully stalked with everything you could need including spices. The beds are comfortable, the home is well heated. Everything was perfect - highly recommend and would return again!

Great location, close to the golden circle. We were able to see the northern lights right at backyard. The two cats are cute and friendly. Sigmar was very responsive!

We stayed here for our last night in Iceland to get to our flight the next day. Sunna's place is clean, neat, and cozy stay for all your short-term Reykjavik needs. Also, the neighborhood was really nice, peaceful and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay here!

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Andrea's place. Her home is beautiful and centrally located in the town of Selfoss. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. We loved the charming decor. Touches such as the espresso machine were very appreciated! Andrea was prompt and helpful in her communication. The neighborhood is peaceful. Her place makes for an excellent base for a visit to Iceland. We highly recommend Andrea's property and hope to come back soon!

Tout s'est très bien passé, un grand merci à Erla qui a été à notre écoute tout au long de notre séjour.

Io e i miei amici abbiamo soggiornato alla “Casa degli Angeli” a fine maggio e non avremmo potuto desiderare un alloggio migliore. Eravamo in cinque e ci siamo trovati benissimo: il bagno e il soggiorno erano ampi e confortevoli, perfetti per rilassarsi insieme dopo le giornate di escursioni. La casa era pulita, ben attrezzata e immersa in un paesaggio naturale mozzafiato. Le camere erano accoglienti e curate nei dettagli, tanto che ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Un valore aggiunto è stato l’ampio terrazzo, che ci ha permesso di trascorrere piacevoli serate ammirando il tramonto e ascoltando i suoni della natura. La posizione è ideale: a soli 15-20 minuti di auto da Selfoss, è perfetta come base per esplorare le meraviglie del sud dell’Islanda. Ogni momento trascorso qui è stato magico. Consigliamo vivamente questa sistemazione a chi cerca un’esperienza autentica e indimenticabile in Islanda!

We, My husband and our two adult children, enjoyed our stay in beautiful Iceland staying at Ernas place. The house is really clean and nice and it is fantastic to follow the daily chances of landscape from the livingroom room and the terrace. Erna and her sons helped us in connection with a few situations we could not resolve ourselves. Its er perfekt place because its located between the most worth-seeing attractions and you can easily plan your trips based on the weather forecast. The best recommendations Dorte and family

La maison etait vraiment très confortable et agréable, nous avons pu relaxer en famille tout en visitant la région de Reykjavik. C'etait très facile d'accès et on y etait rapidement du centre ville. La vue etait belle et il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour se sentir chez soi.

We started our fantastic trip to Iceland with easy to reach Eva’s (Hostess’s) address. There was off street parking, easy access to the property via a key safe and most importantly flexible check in. There was a supermarket (called Bonus) with a 5 minute walk from the property. The house itself was clean, bright and beautiful with every facility that one would have wanted in a fully equipped home. This included fresh towels, fully equipped kitchen and appliances (Coffee machine was a bonus although we didn’t use it)She gave us the freedom to help ourselves if required with her personal spice cupboard too (Thank you Eva). The property was spacious, warm and superbly comfortable. We were 5 in our family and had everything that we needed or wanted. Most importantly she was quick to respond to us with suggestions, directions and local tips. All tourist attractions in the south west were easily accessible and especially the Golden Circle. She also made sure that we had local help if needed.

Absolutely fantastic house & host. Beautiful decor, very comfortable beds and bedding, all kitchen appliances & utensils I could think of. Beautiful views with large open space around the house. Great central point for sightseeing.
