Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Sveitarfélagið Ölfus

This place had everything we needed for a group of 6 (3 couples). The place was very clean and spacious. We were able to cook meals and lounge around the space easily. The area and Airbnb was quiet, never heard anything from neighbors. We were able to walk to groceries and bakery. Perfect location to get to locations in city and out of city. We were able to drive ourselves and take the bus to the city, both easily done from Airbnb. Jona was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend this space for your Iceland adventure!!

Beautiful apartment, and was so close to everything. Close to downtown, and quick highway access to get to the golden circle. Thury was very responsive, and was very accommodating when our flight got in at 5am, he was flexible with us checking in to get rest before going out. Parking was easy, and location was very private. The apartment was very clean, and had access to all the amenities we needed! Def recommend to anyone staying in Iceland!!

Alles super, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sunna was a perfect host. Very friendly and helpful and very fast with solutions to even the smallest problems! The flat was very nice, you feel like home right away! There‘re all the necessary appliances, it was very clean and cosy. The city center was a 20 minute walk from the flat or 5 minutes with the bus. A supermarket and some take away restaurants are just around the corner.

Svandís was a wonderful host, always responsive and helped us understand the ins and outs of the apartment like how to work the heated floors! She even had Icelandic snacks in the kitchen for us when we arrived! :) The kids room was wonderful for our 2 year old who loved playing with the toys and we all felt right at home! Would definitely rebook in the future!

A brilliant spot in Reykjavik. This is the second time we have stayed in the capital and we wouldn’t never stay in the centre because we prefer to be further out in a more local area. Jakob’s flat is a true family home and it really felt that way but was still incredibly smart and chic. So much bigger and airier than the photos showed. The family had cleared space for us to unpack our belongings. Our children were delighted to have some toys to play with. The kitchen was brilliant and best of all, the knives were very sharp! We enjoyed the long summer daylight hours and also the very good blackout blinds and curtains. The neighbourhood was quiet It’s a long walk to downtown, but very easy to navigate. A large industrial estate with all the necessary big shops is 10 minutes away, but Jakob had recommended a few places to us including a local bakery, Passion, to us & we ate some of the butteriest croissants ever there each morning of our stay. Thank you so much to Jakob and his family!

Our last accomandation in Iceland and one of the best (17 dass in Iceland with a lot of different one) The hot Tube was Perfect, the House very well equipped and the Communication always perfectly in Time. We really enjoyed our time, thank you Mikael.

This house was a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located and easy to get around to the major sites and Reykjavik. The neighborhood is very quiet and family friendly. Lots of walking paths everywhere and close walk to the lake. Stunning scenery all around! The house was very modern which was cool, definately fully equipped, and the hot tub was especially fun and therapeutic. Kjartan was very helpful and responsive during our stay. This home away from home comes highly recommended, as does the country of Iceland itself and the people. It's amazing!

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

We stayed here for our last night in Iceland to get to our flight the next day. Sunna's place is clean, neat, and cozy stay for all your short-term Reykjavik needs. Also, the neighborhood was really nice, peaceful and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay here!

Nice and big house with a lot of amenities. Runar was very responsive whenever I had questions such as how to use the electric stove or how early we should get to the airport. We enjoyed our stay. The place is in a small community with a restaurant and grocery store . Very convenient and we love the drive to the blue lagoon

Can’t recommend it enough. A beautiful and comfy home in a peaceful and pretty area. It was nice to come home for some kitty cuddles after a day of exploring. Great for cat lovers. The host was very kind, helpful, and responsive; even provided recommendations for things to do. Would 100% stay here again.

Lovely warm flat. Easy transport to the centre. We loved our holiday break to Reykjavík and we would definitely come back to this place.

This place is out of the heart of downtown Reykjavik but if you have rented a car it is worth the money for the space. The listing is spot on, rooms are sizeable, the kitchen and living room is open concept and large. We felt at home here and our host was responsive with some of our questions. I would recommend staying here on vacation.

Absolutely amazing place and hosts! From the initial communication to the checkout process, everything was seamless and perfect. The apartment is easy to find, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It is located close enough to the city for easy access to shops and restaurants, yet far enough to enjoy quiet and peaceful surroundings, offering the best of both worlds. We felt so comfortable throughout our stay and appreciated the extra touches (e.g., local recommendations, amenities, etc.). Overall, this is one of the best stays we've ever had, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland!

A lovely apartment in a great walkable location (close to Kringlan shopping mall, and all the Reykjavik bus lines). The views out of the window were lovely - you can see the mountains in the distance, and it's in a neighborhood where there's locals, not just tourists. It had all the listed amenities, and a very well equipped kitchen especially. The host was always very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Takk fyrir okkur!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay! Rooms were perfect, beds were comfy, space was clean, cozy and the location was convenient to all of our adventures and there was a parking spot! Iris was responsive and the place was exactly to how it was described.

Sigurlaug flyttade till en ny lägenhet i huset bredvid några dagar innan vår vistelse, så vi bodde i denna nya lägenhet. Lägenheten är mycket fin och rymlig och utsikten över Reykjavik fantastiskt! Lägenheten är välutrustad med i stort sett allt man behöver. Sigurlaug var en perfekt värd och svarade snabbt på mina frågor och meddelanden.

Kolbrún haar appartement is zeer ruim en rustig gelegen. Wij verbleven er met onze 2 kinderen en zij konden leuk in de achtertuin spelen. De aanwezigheid van een wasmachine en droogkast waren een pluspunt. Zeker met kinderen was dit uitermate handig. Vlotte communicatie, top ligging, superhost!

This is a great place to stay in Iceland. It is clean, conveniently located and very spacious. It is also well equipped for families with toys, books, etc. as well as a washer and dryer. We appreciated the flexibility shown to us with check in! I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend you have a rental car for sure. Parking is in a lot right in front of the building.
